Logs
I have been to this lovely park previously with my granddaughter when the cache was missing. Another visit today and the replacement container was spotted. First signature in the new log and replaced as found. Thanks WallabyWanderers for placing it in such a well kept area.
Tried to replace cache but due to carnival of flowers, location is too busy.. will keep trying!!
Because of the constant stream of muggles through here I spent a long time on this one. I would duck into the garden and check part of the structure and then duck back out again. After spending nearly an hour and checking every surface of the structure, I gave up.
Wow we looked and looked, under and under. round and round. felt looked and even returned with a mirror. No luck for us.
Found 3-6-24Out on an afternoon of Treasurer Hunting with Geowife Orcas & GeoBuddy ET.Quick Find.TFTC.Cheers Yankees02
Second shot at this one today. Precisely where my brain told me it was, just had to stretch a little further Tftc!
Spent an hour looking for this cache to no avail. Luckily live in the area so if OC replies with a clue, Ill be able to come back swiftly. Went during the day on a Monday and had little no to people around until the school down the road got let out. Feeling confident I know what Im looking for, just cant find it. Look forward to returning and getting a smiley
Pleased to make this find - One out of three for my evenings caching! Only in Toowoomba for three nights, hope to add to my tally. TFTC
Found on an early morning geocaching run with geotild. Thanks for placing this one.
TFTC! Only our 2nd ever find and the kids were so excited!! Took us a little while of looking, but finally found by feel.
Easy find at night when no muggles are around. This spot can get quite busy in Spring
We were doing an A.L. in this park. So we made sore we found this C at the same time. Great park area. Tftc
Out and about geocaching with the newbie. Its a caching weekend! Onto the last cache of the day and determined not to end on a DNF, we searched high and low for this one. Eventually, our perseverance was rewarded! Signed log and we both agree, we hear Laurel! Gardens look very bare at the moment, excited for the flower festival to return, although the hedges always deliver!! TFTC, found with Coleslaw867
One step closer to 5000 finds only 3 more to the milestone. Dont think I will get it today. Thanks for another hide Tim. At least this one was not as hard as others of yours to find
High chance this one has disappeared during the paint job, and would be near impossible to find with stealth during Carnival time anyway. Will try to replace at night or without the muggle struggle!
Down in SEQ for a few days to celebrate the life of a caching ambassador and a great friend Karicka. It’s more than likely he’d found this one.
Way too many muggles to attempt this one.
Thanks WallabyWanderers for adding to my day.

Came here today, not the best day for this with everyone, using the platform. We looked for a while from a distance, but noticed that there has been a few DNF's, recently with the platform now sporting a new coat of paint, may have gone in the paint bucket.
I looked high and I looked low but no luck for me here today. Made harder with all the muggles about, looking at the beautiful gardens. Maybe next time, if ever back in the area.
Thanks anyway.
Thanks anyway.
No luck today but not confident its here as the stairs are newly painted and fear it may have been lost.
I was in Toowoomba visiting friends, so decided to grab lunch and eat it in this lovely park. And how STUNNING. The drive from Brisbane to Toowoomba was lovely nice and early in the morning, and as I drove up the range the fog was still hanging heavy in the air. It was cool but not freezing today, so the perfect winter's day "up the hill".
TFTC Wallaby Wanderers!

Thanks to the wet weather the park was empty, allowing me to look in peace. Cache found and log signed.

We’re in town having the car serviced so walked to Laurel Bank Pk to find your cache.
It was in the first place we looked, and the last. But there were a few other places we looked in between those. Why that took so long we’ll never know.
By the way… we both only heard ‘Laurel’ in the audio.
Thank you WallabyWanderers.

In town, as usual for medicals, and spare time gave us time to find a few caches or more today.
Today, we avenged 3 Dnf and found a puzze cache that I solved awhile ago.
Having had a wholesome lunch, we returned here to find this cache, second time attempt. If you feel like it, you can find it!
Thanks Wallaby Wanders for the hide

After meeting up with Charmad, we headed out for a cache and an AL series while waiting for ATLH to arrive.
This one took a little bit of time to find but it was right where it was meant to be.

Back in Toowoomba for some more caching and getting ready for another weekend of caching in the area. Before dinner, it was Duppers, shazza and I walking the streets and parks of Toowoomba to grab this cache and an adventure lab. A really like this park and it was good today to see it before it goes into spring bloom.
This one had us for a little while and then we went back to our original spot again to find it. Think I need speck savers as I am sure it was not there when I looked, lol. Thanks for placing this one here, all good with this cache. we signed the log and then continued with the lab in the area.

After completing the caches on Mt Peel, Shazzar66 and I headed to our accommodation for the night to meet up with Chamad. Before going out to the pub for dinner, Chamad suggested that we drive to find a couple of caches, so we piled into his 4WD and headed to this beautiful park just before sunset. Even towards the end of summer, these gardens are lovely. No, I haven’t ever been here during the Carnival of Flowers. I’m a terrible gardener, and I always feel that although I know that I’d find the Carnival of Flowers beautiful, I feel that it would be more suited to people who like gardening more than me.
When we arrived at GZ, Shazzar66, Chamad and I looked for the cache for way too long. Under things, on top of things, in things. A 1.5/1.0? Maybe it’s gone. While Chamad made a PAF, we found the cache. Well, that’s embarrassing! I’m sure we’d all looked there previously! Phew. TFTC

I walked to this cache from home to get some exercise
And it was a lovely day for it. With the tunes playing it was a great walk.
A quick find for me today in the 2nd place I looked.
Thanks for the cache.

Dropped by on my way back from work, unfortunately council workers were doing ground work in the park. So after “looking at plants” & taking heaps of photos I decided to abandon this one for now.
We had an appointment to meet with potential house sit hosts in Toowoomba today, and we chose Laurel Bank Park, as they had their puppies with them. We met at 1.30ish, then as hunger was calling, decided to go across the road to the rather nice (and highly recommended) cafe, but as it was now 2.00pm, kitchen was closed. So instead, we decided to have a go at this cache.
Not one to chase FTFs, but did spend a good 20 minutes before we were joined by Flutterbysquish, who proceeded to search all the same spots we had already searched. Mr D sat in the shade, while we both searched, by now, I was dripping wet in the humididy.
Another 10 minutes later, my normal search time was well and truly over, and hunger was really kicking in, so we left FBSq to have fun with the FTF.
We found another cafe just before 3.00 and called in only to find their kitchen was also closed, but we chose from the fridge, and sat and ate our rather late lunch in the air conditioned cafe, while staff stacked chairs and mopped floors. Mr D was feeling rather sad for me that we had not found a cache, so we moved on to POKE around somewhere else.
That is when we had a call from FBSq to say she had found the cache. Well done FBSq. Hope this has MADE YOUR DAY. Cheers to WW for the rather well hidden cache, it was exactly where Mr D had already searched.....Now we need to return to this lovely park another Toowoomba visit.

After a terrible few weeks of unluck, with a car accident on the 9/1 and drop my new phone smash the glass and only a few finds this year, I'd hoped something would cheer me up.
(I'd found 1 on new years, and a few on the weekend).
I was very surprised the faithful friendly ftf hounds hadn't found this yet, so off to the park I dashed. I bumped into Dunmowin team, who searched briefly but were after lunch so they left me the search.
After trying different levels, angles, and curious message to the CO I pondered further. After a look there I didn't see it the first or second time, but some how I saw it the third time it glistened at me.
Annnnnd - wahoo.
I kindly called team Dunmowin to see if they'd like to return but they were already traveling to another location, so they shall visit again soon.
Thanks for the tricky thing.
I used a brand new pen to sign my name..
