My first find! I was surprised when I found it, very cool, very cool indeed.
Found it! This is our 1300th find. While we were looking for a platypus, I saw a little one just before I found the cache. The cache was on the ground when I went to gz. I put it back.
We continued today our tour of several AUS states in the NorthWest and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.The weather was - said in one word simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood. The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging. Thanks to Barkers4 for the generation of this nice cache Rail Trail Adventures #1 (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they happened.Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood. We found this cache on our explorer trip through this area. It's a beautifull region. The cacche is NOT a micro but a nano.Team Mavos - Albert and Maria
On a trip headed up to Cape York, staying over night in Atherton. The locals are happy with us, as wherever we go we chase the rain away.It still very overcast however and the GPZ at times has us anywhere from 1m to 14m away from GZ.We finally resort to the hint and have the cache in hand not long after.A very nice hide, but not a mini as someone suggested but a nano.TFTCVenimus, Invenimus, Signati
It was another long day of driving today with ilook4geo. We only stopped to pick up a few caches to represent different LGAs along our route. This wa a nice quick and easy find for a very short stop. All was replaced as found after the log had been signed. Thanks for this cache replacement go to Barkers4.
Lots of kilometres and a few caches were achieved today with goingplaces2. Didn't spend very long on caching so quick finds were on the program. This cache was located, the log was signed, all was replaced. Job done! TFTC.
You shouldnt stick your finger any where you wouldnt lick. Awesome cache. Had us looking a few minutes before we tried the reflected
A quick park and grab here after a photo or two. *The generic bit for this trip*Heading south after our trip north for warmer weather. From Victoria to Cooktown, weaving inland and to the coast, caching as we go. No real plans, just taking each day as it comes and enjoying the adventure in our converted ambulance. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining caches for our enjoyment.
Did your Rail Trail Adventures #1 today. 6 June 2024 2:08 pm Tyfc Barkers4 total caches now 6825 .
In town for a couple of weeks for work and headed off to this cache, nearly gave up as the sats would not settle. Widened my search to a more logical area and got my name on the log. Lovely area and enjoyed a coffee from the cafe across the road.TFTC
I was here at 7am on Saturday for my other favourite thing to do! Not only was it raining but full of fit muggles .After parkrun I went and picked up the nearby virtual and then made my way to the Railway cafe across the road. Once fueled up with an awesome breakfast I wandered over to make the quick find. Thanks for adding extra fun to my day.
A day on the southern Atherton Tableland - collecting a few more caches (lots of nanos today) and collecting AdLab waypoints. No luck with multis though. Quite a few kilometres covered and some interesting spots visited.Last one for the day. Reflected on the wrong spot but soon found what I was looking for. Another nicely executed cache.TFTC Barkers4
Northern escape Day 2On a longweekend trip from Mackay to Cooktown and back.Crazy, I know.Pulled up and a quick find was made. It's always good to reflect.SL TFTC

Arrived in Atherton for a few days, exploring one cache at a time.
We hope to ride some of the rail trail whilst we’re here but today we visited the start on foot.
Sneaky hide.

Stopped for lunchbat Cafe, Chase the chickens, spotted no turtles today and I ducked away to make this find.

I am beyond delighted with this one!! My muggle friend and I use the trail three mornings a week and our warm up and cool down involve the geocache hide…can’t wait to show her. It was a beautiful afternoon to be out and about on international geocaching day. Can’t wait to do more. Thanks for the cache
Found with The X-Trailers on a great day locating a few caches in this series. TFTC
Decided today was the day to cache around Atherton with earthlight. Had an enjoyable few hours

We went for a walk along the rail trail, dodging the drizzle as we went along, and ended up with wet feet by the time we finished walking and caching. Found this one easily as have seen them before. TFTC
We took your advice and had lunch at the Railway Cafe, very nice it was too. TFTC and recommendation Barkers4
First for the day. Lovely hide. Great cafe with its own model railway. Gets a favourite from me.
On our weekend in the Tablelands and on our caching expedition we quickly parked and found GZ. TFTC. Clever little hide.
Barkers4 - some very imaginative caches, my friend. This one is very cool! Sadly I can’t open the container - seems jammed - (didn’t want to force it too much/break it)
Have photos if you need for validation.

Out and about with Dat87 for a day of geocaching adventuring on the Tablelands. This was a nice easy one compared to the rest of the Rail Trail series, but we enjoyed the ingenuity. Fave point from us.
On a holiday up here and this is close to our accommodation. An easy park and find.
What better way to spend Sunday than Caching. Clever hide and favourite point from us! TFTC
This was the first cache in this series that we found after having visited the other two, but without any luck. Thankfully we experienced success when we visited to look for this cache.
Now for some lunch and revisit the previous two for another look.
