This was very close to where we are staying for a couple of weeks, but I was unable to find it. Hedge clippings may have obscured it.

27-May-24
Out with Kiwi Does Stuff for a quiet Sunday caching mission in and out of Hamilton through all of the backroads. Hedge clippings definitely make for a busier area to search, located in the end. TFTC !

We walked the dogs along this part of the trail to find the three close caches. A good decision as there were many muggles around today on their electric bikes or traveling to the Punnet cafe. The last of the three, and we had a short wait while a idling car moved on.

07-Jan-24
Found with Spudge between bikes. TFTC

#13,890. After spending the morning geocaching around Cambridge it was time to head towards Hamilton and rather than get there at 110 km/hr I decided to drive the slower path picking up the Te Awa trail caches. This one is well protected by vegetation. Had to get down low to feel it. Signed the logsheet and replaced the cache as found. Thanks elwyn1948 for the caches along this trail.

We are staying at Morrinsville for a few days and decided to come over this way to pick up a few caches. Took a few minutes to locate this one. It was a little further away than where my phone was indicating GZ to be, but probably within the allowable margin of error. #6865. TFTC.

School holidays so time for a road trip and some caching. Stayed the night on Duncan road near the end of the trail. Woke ridiculously early and walked the whole trail collecting all 14 caches. Was very grateful that the finds were straight forward and a phone torch sufficed. Did have a full moon show itself intermittently which helped. Cache and log all fine. Thanks for a fun time.

A nice quick find. The penultimate cache on the count down trail. Thanks for placing your cache.

I went for a wee bike ride this afternoon and collected a few caches. Lovely weather for a bike ride and the trails (when I was on them) were great.

Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. .

Back on the trail, easy find, on to the next one

15-Apr-23
There were quite a few cyclists and walkers using the trail today but not enough to make finding the cache a problem and we located it quickly when the coast was clear.
Now on to the next one.

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)… It turned out to be a good weather day for another drive into the Waikato. It almost felt like the summer we were supposed to have…

The same strolling couple from the previous cache passed us by. They were a bit more observant this time, and cast a wary eye in our direction. A cyclist also passed and asked if we were looking for something. Our reply regarding caching didn’t phase him, and he cycled off without looking back… A quick find here. Thanks elwyn1948. TFTC.

Nice sunny afternoon walking our Jäger not too far from this cache, we got a series of new cache notifications. We ran/walked the last few hundred meters back to the car as fast as we could, as you do, and drove straight to the locations. Getting all 3 from this series as [FTF] definitely made our night. So lucky to have been nearby. Thanks for the placement.
