Thanks Joshwa27.Great information and audio. I seem to recall finding something here previously at GZ. TFTC!
After being thwarted at Christmas time to grab this one due some temporary fencing around the park to protect the public from falling branches, frazeydaze and I again checked the area out during a visit to family in Kelso. The park was still fenced off but we were not to be deterred again with the cache almost within grabbing distance I ducked over the temporary fencing and made the grab. So glad to put this one to bed. Cache is all good. Signed log and returned cache as found. TFTC
Caching with oldmorty.Nice quick find by oldmorty. Thanks to Joshwa27 for the puzzle and the cache.
Putting a note as to find the final next time I'm in Bathurst. Solved the coordinates today doing the nearby pruning cache but the final was just a bit to far for us in the wrong direction as we're on a short timeframe this morning!
Travelling with a group from Canberra as part of a small invasion of Bathurst caches. Caches signed as CBI24 for Canberra Bathurst Invasion 2024. Lots of fun solving the various puzzles and now looking forward to finding lots of caches. Tftc
Bathurst TripFound with Joolay, FurfacesLL, Gliss, contesta and the gang on a drive to Bathurst for a weekend of caching. Caches signed as CBI24 (Canberra Bathurst Invasion 24). Managed to get in and get this signed. Lovely to see all the flowers out. Thanks for the hide Joshwa27
Found as part of Canberra (Region) Bathurst Invasion 2024 (CBI24) which after the Peel Reserve caches consisted of minniek, Joolay, Kittykatch, GLISS!, FurfacesLL, isopeda, Tankengine, dty73, TikvaNZ, Contesta, Domsky, Youban, Barb2e, Smittengranny, and myself.A plan was hatched, accommodation booked, and caches chosen - it was another Canberra Invasion of Bathurst. It seems a long time ago that I participated in the first Canberra Invasion of Bathurst back in 2009 where I found cache number 1000 ! This time around it was the Peel Reserve that was my priority, and afterwards hopefully to clean out Bathurst again. After a few of us did Parkrun we assembled at the Peel Cemetery, and after a chat with the friendly local farmer we started our trek. Once that great walk was completed we continued on our list. All caches were found without issue unless stated. This one was a nice quick find. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then continued along our planned list. Thanks Joshwa27 !!
fitzy_1965 and I organised a group to do the walk around Peel Common. Our group included: Contesta, domsky, FurfacesLL, youban, tankengine, dty73, GLISS!, Joolay, kittykatch, tikvaNZ, isopeda, barb2e & smittengranny. After a few of us did parkrun, we all headed out to the Peel common to pick up all the puzzles we solved.Once finished, we headed back into town to collect the Pillars series and anything else in between. The puzzles were great to solve, and all caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.
Find # 124166/7/2024 15:50Caching adventures continue, plans were hatched, word got around, and with some trustee like-minded souls we assembled at the cemetery start line - KittyKatch, Joolay, fitzy_65, mimmiek, TikvaNZ, isopeda, dty73, FurfacesLL, domsky, Youvan, Barb2e, Tankengine. ?? Signing CBI24 for Canberra Bathurst Invasion ??Always shenanigans in a group as you never quite know what might happen but its guaranteed to be fun!All caches located, retrieved, signed, and replaced. Thanks Joshwa27 for Pillars of Bathurst ??
Chooo ooo [Found] on a caching invasion of Bathurst! Log signed CBI24!Thanks Joshwa27!
Today, a group from Canberra (and some from surrounding areas) are in Bathurst for the next in our Invasion series. We were last here 4 years ago, but there are plenty more caches these days. This years group includes barb2e, Isopeda, Youban, DTY, Tankengine, Kittykatch, Joolay, GLISS!, domskys, FurfacesLL, TikvaNZ, minniek, fitzy_1965, Contesta and myself. All caches found were signed as CBI24 standing for Canberra Invasion of Bathurst in 2024. We had quite a long list of caches that we hoped to find over the weekend, and it is pleasing to note that most of us found all on our own list for today except one that looks as if it has fallen victim to The Winter Festival. After collecting a few in town, the main group concentrated on Peel Reserve in the morning, while others, including me, Youban, and barb2e, followed our own agendas. Huge thanks to all cache owners for the great hides and puzzles that I encountered today. I had a thoroughly enjoyable day, which has left me somewhat weary, so please excuse the generic logs. This was one of the caches that we found and signed.
#22286 @0755Visiting Bathurst for the weekend from Canberra. Kicked off the day with a nearby earth cache, then collected the remaining information for this puzzle. Headed to GZ via a few lab caches. Cache soon found. TFTC.

And the Pillars what a great idea.Heading to Bathurst area for the weekend with a group of cachers to tackle the Peel Reserve puzzles and some other good stuff ??. Signing as CBI24Thanks for getting me out and about Joshwa27

Fourteen from Canberra here for the weekend signing under. CBI24 doing as many caches as we can in two days. Kutgw
Tankengine, Youban and I left Canberra just after lunchtime on Friday and drove straight to Bathurst. We had solved many of the puzzles or at least started the solves before coming. We were looking forward to finding many smilies this weekend and hanging out with our friends. We met up with our friends and signed caches as CBI24 (Canberra Bathurst Invasion 2024). The group included Fitzy_1965, Minniek, Kittykatch, Joolay, FurfacesLL, GLISS!, Tankengine, Youban, Contesta, Domsky, TikvaNZ, Isopeada, Barb2e, and SmittenGranny. We had an awesome dinner at the Kelso Hotel Bistro Friday night. And attended the ever changing event on Saturday night at The Reckless Brewery Co. Breakfast was at a couple of cafes that were all good and lunches wherever we could find it. Our little cabin at the NRMA Paramount caravan park, where there was just enough space for all three of us (just). We slept ok, but the leaky taps needed attention. We had an awesome time and would love another chance to visit Bathurst again another day. This cache: Another smiling face on the map. Tftc!!!
A weekend of fun with a group of Canberra cachers. The weather was beautiful, cold and clear with little wind and it was a perfect day to be out walking and exploring and enjoying a winter weekend in Bathurst. We signed the logs as CBI24 ( Canberra-Bathurst Invasion 2024)Thanks for all the adventures and efforts to create some fun hides for the Geocaching community. Domsky
We are in Bathurst with The Drovers, Geoturtle37 & Papi4506 for a few days caching and after spending the morning at the Panorama Circuit doing the caches there we decided to head into town to tackle the caches there as well as do a couple of ad labs.. Knowing that we were coming to Bathurst all four teams solved as many puzzles as they could before we left home.Bathurst seems to have many pillars of society, we are slowly learning who they are through geocaching and these puzzles. This was another area that we couldn't find parking nearby and had a bit of a walk to get to Once at gz we fanned out for a bit of a search where the cache was found and our The Mob stamp was added to the log. Thanks but once more for the cache.
Unable to get this one today at GZ is not accessible. Will come back when next in town.
Over in Canberra to attend the Easter Mega with tmann421Tons of caches done while here and this was one of them.Enjoyed the touring around and all the containers foundLog signed tm/ww NZThanks for the placement and the effort put into maintaining these hides for us to find.
*In the area with woolwood9. Bathurst and the caches around / near Mt. Panorama were one of the main areas of our trip - nice to be back here after 5 years.* We soon managed to get the container found here! SL *tm/ww NZ*Thanks for the reason to stop and I appreciate the effort in setting up these caches!*Park still roped off but pretty easy to get to GZ. Cache still in place.
OCW frazeydaze. After collecting the required information at the Pillars and crunching the numbers we headed off to gz. When we arrived we found the park fenced off to the public; apparently the Council feels that the park is currently unsafe due to falling branches. We noted an arborist doing a survey of the trees while we were there. We'll be back at a later date.
i wandered over to this park to have a gander at the adventure lab, but the park was closed due to the potential of falling tree limbs so i only got as far as the first point.saw that this solved puzzle wasn't too far away i kept walking to gz.just when i got there it started to bucket down, so instead i ducked over to the george nearby for a brew and a lunchtime feed.sometime later the rain stopped so i slowly ambled over for a look.luckily was spotted quickly and i leapt back out of the park, nobody any the wiser. thanks joshwa27 for a nice and easy fun puzzle i solved last night between trivia questions at the pub. this cache is a mini milestone cache find number 4600 !
An early and foggy start to the day and this was the first cache for the day. Lots of people around so needed to be stealthy. Checked a few spots and there was the enemy tucked away. Got the names in the log and returned as found.

The start of the last day of our regional NSW caching road trip is underway. It's a cold start walking around Machattie Park first thing in the morning but at least we were able to make a quick find here, thanks to good coords and a logical hiding spot. Must say we were thankful that we were able to get coffee to warm us up from the kiosk in the church grounds opposite.
Thanks for placing this cache Joshwa27.

#7038- Another enjoyable puzzle with good start and end points. Some people noticed us looking around and came to ask if we'd lost something. thomo31 explained we were caching and the woman mentioned something which twigged an idea. Then thomo31 spotted it immediately. Thanks
Found with WaywardWoman. While finding info, I miscalculated one part. Tried again and got the go ahead. Headed to GZ.
While searching, a passer-by made a comment that "clicked" and soon located the cache. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC

#22665. First cache of our afternoon caching session. Nicely tucked away. TFTC.
After lunch, the rain had stopped, though it was quite chilly in the wind. This didn't take long to find as we walked to the start of the Machattie Park Ad lab. TFTC.
Another interesting listen. Followed by a long search till I found it the twentieth time I checked that spot!?!
TFTC.

First day out caching a bit of a layoff.

As this is a newer cache I don’t have it on my list so missed getting when I was nearby doing part of an adventure lab. Found in the third place I looked.
Travelled over from New Zealand to do a two week roadtrip down to the Rutherglen Mega and back to Sydney. Thanks for the cache, Joshwa27
