TFTC. A fun series. Some bumps are worn, which make the puzzles a little easier. Well done RedVikingX.
Today we further explored our back yard and finding caches in and around the Hobart area and this was one of them.We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty. This trail was excellent to do with challenges along the way and adding to our favourites. Many thanks RedVikingX for your cache placement.
This legitimately is the path to madness: first there was another frog in the box (how do you get them to stay there?) and then the puzzle went on and on and on! Amazing and great fun - TFTC!!!
Got lucky with this one and managed to get into it after a short while. Can't say the same for all of them though! TFTC!Cheers,The Hancock Clan
Holy smokes - this one was difficult! Had me trying for a good 10 or so minutes but finally succeeded. Enjoyed the company of a few young bandicoots, a little rabbit and a very vocal lorikeet as I sat on the bench being very puzzled over the puzzle. I do enjoy a challenge though, so thoroughly enjoyed this. Just managed to get it open as Scoot arrived back from his side mission.TFTC
Wow three times wow clever one.. finally got it out.. signed the log all good ..Absolutely fav pts from me , wink !!!
This one was the hardest for me, a good 15 minutes spent slowly working on this one until I got into it. Favourite point givenTFTC
Thanks for the cache RedVikingX.
This is the last in this series for me to finally sign the log for - I've visited this one before, but failed when I couldn't progress past what I thought was about one third of the access - turns out it was a much smaller fraction than that
Today after work I returned with the GeoGSP's - it was cold, it was a little bit windy, and it was getting dark fast. I decided not to sit down on the nearby seats this time, but simply stand at GZ, close my eyes and see if I could make any progress. I got stuck at the same spot, but persisted, another couple of minutes and I suddenly made some progress. On to the next stage - more closing my eyes, staying relaxed, trying not to think about it, but it was getting colder and darker. As I'd managed to park pretty close to this cache I decided to retreat to the comfort and warmth of my car - this did the trick, and less than a minute later I was signing the log!
Now to put it back together, and then a dash in the dark to replace the container.
Despite my frustration with this one, I've really enjoyed this series, and appreciate the work that has been put into them. A favourite from me.

We walked from #4 to this cache (and all the others in this series).
Again didn't take long to find the hide but accessing the log took me about 4 minutes - tricky.
Logged, replaced and we moved onto the next.
Thanks for the cache RedVikingX

Well I found the cache, and then I sat on the nearby seat in the lovely winter sun and calmly tried to access the log.....twenty minutes later I pulled up stumps after not progressing very far. Did have success at #4, so will save this one for another day.
There were three new caches published at Lauderdale and Sandford today so we decided to go and have a look for them. The two at Lauderdale had already been found so we headed to Sandford first, but as it turned that one had been found by the time we got there as well. After finding that one, we went and found another cache in ‘The Path To Madness’ series that I had previously had a DNF on. After that we went and found the other two new caches at Lauderdale, then found another cache that I’d DNFed before in Howrah on the way home. In total we had five finds today, three traditionals and two letterboxes.
After having a DNF on this one earlier in the month we returned today and had it open in four minutes and forty five seconds, much faster than the fourth one! A very fun series, it was good to come back and complete it today.
Thanks for the cache RedVikingX!

A return to this cache tonight with geo kid o and after having no quick success we moved back to the car where strangely we were both able to get a stage almost there and the other one finish that stage off.
Great cache and great series of caches.

Having completed #4 first, we were prepared for the challenge of this field puzzle. It took another 15 minutes to completely solve the puzzle. After signing the new log sheet, the container went back together very easily. Thanks RedVikingX for anything challenging and enjoyable field puzzle.
Unfortunately we couldn’t find this one. The outer container is still in place, but there’s nothing inside. Cache needs checking.
Ok. Completed number 2 of these caches with only that and 3 to do (rest done earlier in the year)
Arrived to find outer container intact but nothing inside. May have been muggled.

Third cache found in trail, another cool puzzle, one more to go! Thank you again to the creator, we have come here so many times as muggles and never realised this was here!
Hello RedVikingX thank you for the cache
Tonight been our usual BNO and with two missing EeePees and I went caching.
By now it was quite dark by the time your cache was found.
This one took a lot longer to find but we did get into it.

Thanks RedVikingX, for the clever cache, the series, and the adventure.
Found this evening with AlbyDangles - as the muggle members of our usual BoysNightOut dinner group were absent, we 2 went geocaching instead.
Parked nearby #1 just on dark, grabbed our torches and headed off - completing a return walk to #4 - and then back to the car. No rain, but quite cool, so walking was brisk, and muggles sparse.
Quick finds as expected, although times between finding, and accessing the logs slowly increased proportionally with the difficulty level along the way.
Kinda wish I'd put my beanie on. It is frustrating trying to open the log container, but probably more frustrating watching someone else trying!
Thanks for the field puzzle challenges.
Cheers, EPs.

Having completed the first two (easy) caches in this series on a previous occasion, we were in town for some appointments and has a bit of time to spare between the accountant and our flu shots (does it get any better? )
We set off for #3 with the hope of having enough time to solve it.
Its nice to have the nearby seats, so we sat in the sun while I gently jiggled and twisted. It took a bit of time and I felt very chuffed when the puzzle came apart....my joy was short lived. Now I understand the true meaning of the name of the cache. I was now definitely on the path to madness.
Anyway, patience prevailed and paid off, and it wasn't too long till the log was finally in hand, signed and with some trepidation I got the bits back together.
Thanks RedVikingX, a great series and challenge. Another favourite from us.

We had to be up early for an appointment in the city then we were meeting the daughter and grandchildren in Lauderdale to get some supplies for the weekend. After a coffee we went our separate ways.
Had seen these 4 caches and not quite the right timing to find them until today. With some nice weather we decided to tackle these field puzzles and after reading some logs, we decided to start with #1 and work our way up the difficulties, however, number one seem to take ages…..even struggled to close it after signing the log! Number 2 gave us some confidence and we celebrated a little too early on this one….ok, don’t get too excited until you see the log book! However this one didn’t take as long as #1!
We weren’t looking forward to the last one!
Well done and thanks for the challenge.

This was a nice area to stroll around whilst listening to the birds. The field puzzles were very well constructed. Thanks for your effort in building these caches and thanks for the series.
Well from the brief read of the listing all I knew was that a bit of work must have gone into these and was going to be treated to something different. We in fact drove into the street the last one was in and as I was turning round at the end found a car behind me so parked up a bit further along, someone got out of the car and dashed off down the trail we needed, how very odd, soon the penny dropped that this was in fact the CO.
We got to GZ just after he had recovered the cache and after introductions I was told two things, 1. the cache was broken and he was about to do some repairs and we would be best to start at the other end and 2. I deserved a punch in the face for my Nine Inch Nails puzzle so with that we headed off to #1.
Now on this one we both had a go with a Rat and a Goose doing a bit each but again it was only a matter of minutes before we added our names o the log, we didn't even have to use the seating provided so I'm not sure why some finders took so long
This was to be a day of maintenance of other peoples caches for the Tas Community profile and we just threw in a couple of caches that were along the way so we got some finds too.
But it turned out to be one if not the largest number of Fav worthy cache finds in a day I have ever had and get this I was home before dark!
Thanks for the cache.

At #3 we contemplating sitting down but are both pretty good at theme so decided we didn't need to. It certainly gave us a surprise but fortunately no trouble!
According to SSRs time stamps we took 29 minutes to to the three caches.
We did pop back to #4 to check but it was still under repair.
Another fav point - in fact I found 5 caches today and they are all getting fav points from me!
Thanks RedVikingX

A lovely find close to home plus a dog walk! This was a full team bloopy effort to unlock the secrets! Cheers!
After the second one and seeing the difficulty increase for this one I had wondered how we’d go with these two harder ones.
A quick find and then a quick solve - about 30 seconds - because I have this exact puzzle in one of my geocaches so had a bit of experience with it!
TFTC - favourite point given.
Nice spot to walk around with the dog this morning.

After dropping off my Brother and Sis-in-law at the airport for their 2 week Adelaide visit, i decided to swing by these new 4 hides on my ay back.
I started from Pink through to Purple before the All-Day-Drizzle started around 12:30pm.
Quickly found the hide and managed to access the log within 15 minutes. I have developed a "Patience" in attempting these and it has paid off... kind of ha ha
On the 'Path To Madness' which i know will only get harder starting from this end first. "Yeeaah bring it!" i say ha ha.
"Ok... now we step up the difficulty", i thought to myself, knowing this i left GZ a bit and enjoyed the seat nearby as i nutted out this puzzle and it's hidden surprises
easily 15+ minutes later i was eventually 'In' and signing the log at 11:44 on Wednesday 12 April 2023.
Replacing the puzzle pieces back took way less time when sometimes getting it all back together can take me longer than solving them ha ha
TFTC RedVikingX and that brain-bending, patience-testing, puzzle

*FTF* Well done on a great series of hides in this lovely reserve. Luckily we had the perfect tools with us - the grandsons who made us look inconspicuous while hunting and solving. Mr W went off with a couple of grandsons to this hide, but then went onto the next as unable to open and after solving the next 2 returned here and finally got to sign the log. Thanks for the first to find coins. These 3D printers are amazing. TFTC Deserves a favourite.
