We did find but didnt stand a chance in hell of getting to it. Well be back one day. TFTC We love these fishing caches.
Another long trip around AU over the top end with lots of detours. Now heading back east across the Nullarbor.TFTC. That one was a bit taller. Needed a stick extension to reach.
This was a lot taller than some of the others today, but worked out okay with a few modifications to the pole.Today was York to Narrogin, a little rain on occasion, but for the most part, still good caching weather. Started the day with caching about York, lots of adventure labs to guide us around town, and a variety of other caches, too. Tree fishing caches took a priority and added a different element of fun. Passing through each town which all seem to have their ALs and a chance to explore. Arriving into Narrogin later, a full day. Completed by a night cache spotted walking distance from our camp to round out the day. Thanks for your cache!
Another drive out while weather good. Sun hidden but still a very pleasant day. We came and saw (spotted) this one but did not conquer (attempt). Our prototype type pole did not work last week. Not long enough. So off to Bunnings for more extension to give up 8 metres and a better engineered hook by male Chatterbox. Tyftfun
Okaay.. so it's now more than misty rain. Hoping for a quick spot of the distinctive ring and we got it. These are great caches to hook and replace. TFTC ebenie.
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 39 - Younaning Dam to Brookton via Popanyinning and Pingelly. Last night was a lot drier than the last few and I had a nice night out in the bush, even with other campers not too far away. Most of the caching today was around the two towns on the way. Both have long history and plenty to see of what used to be, with a few Labs thrown in for good measure. I seem to have reached an area of WA where every third cache is a tree fishing cache, so that is pretty exciting. Only one has been two thirds of my pole so far. I am now in Brookton, about to go for a walk to see the town, even though it is another public holiday and is very quiet.Between Popanyinning and Pingelly, there were a number of stops. A few trees and a few really tricky micros. I surprised myself and found all of the eight I stopped at along the way. Thanks for the cache ebenie47396.18 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & July 2019 Lackey Tag - OzGeomuster A#405**Albida**
Probably one of the fastest pole cache we have done. The flies are still friendly for this time of the year.
Had the pole in the car and as this one was a bit further off the road soon had it signed and back!
After getting a couple of these this morning we saw that there were some on route to where we were heading. Unfortunately they were on the other side of the road. We found a spot on our side, got the TOTT and a step to get a bit more height if needed. Well the steps a bit of a joke with this one and no use to us. So we return for the car and caravan. Reverse up, get on the back with our TOTT and get it. Thanks for placing
Best one tet. On the way back from Perth doing the shopping. Picking up smilies. TFTC. FP ZFROM ME
Have travelled with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. After spending some time in Peterborough, Minlaton, Moonta,Whyalla and Wudinna we headed across the Nullarbor, picking up caches along the way including Kambalda and the Goldfields. Winding our way home now and a quick flit through Doodlakine, Muckinbudin and Kellerberrin. After spending a couple of nights in Northam now in the area of Popanyinning to grab more hides. Thanks ebenie
Having travelled with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast, down through the centre, the Flinders Ranges, the Yorke Peninsula, and the Nullarbor, we are now on the home stretch. We are on the move again. Heading in the direction of Narrogin enjoying the countryside and looking for caches along our route. TFTC.

These country fishing ones are so much better than doing them in suburban parks. TFTC ebenie
Great to finally get the chance to log a few smilies now that I’m back from working away and missed all the action. Apologies for the generic log and thanks for the cache.
Full time nomads since February 2014, back in WA to visit family.
Staying in Wickepin now for a few days. Still tootling around the countryside picking up some smilies after WAGB, today we headed across to Pingelly and surrounds.

I appreciate that most of the fish were easy to spot since this, along with multi caches, is my least favourite type of hide. Thanks.
Back out in the Wheatbelt for an extended long weekend, attending the WA Goes Big 10th anniversary event in Narrogin. Hoovered up plenty of new caches in both Narrogin and surrounding districts, and had a great time with fellow cachers. Thanks to West Oz Geocaching for organising another ripper event! Caches signed through the weekend as ‘CC’ (meaning Cockburn Crew) to save space on logbooks. Cheers ebenie!
Found with TeamBarritts on our way to Narrogin for WAGB23. Thanks for this series!! ??
Heading down to Narrogin with BJA3 for WAGB23!

***FTF*** yippee!!! My adrenalin is pumping!! Up nice and early to head off to Narrogin for WAGB. My plan is to clean up the green dots on the east side then head to the west side to meet up with N2O to continue. This is going to be a massive weekend and no doubt a great adventure. Many thanks ebenie for placing this hide for me to find and adding to an awesome weekend at WAGB23. This will be my 6257 find.
Day 1 of heading down to Narrogin for WAGB23. Not going the direct route as there are a few smilies still to get here and there. Hoped that the *FTF*. Would still be here and it was . The cache was wedged in a crack if the branch , so be careful as I broke my pole retrieving
Some logs signed as N2O.
This is my 10900find.
Thankyou ebenie for placing and maintaining this cache

Down in Narrogin for the WA Goes Big Event. Thanks to all those volunteering their time to put on such an event and to those attending! It’s always great attending such events and seeing a fresh burst of new Geocaches and meeting new people.
Headed down a day earlier to help set up what’s required and also utilise some free time collecting geocaches. For all the COs that have placed caches out this way Thank You!

Out and about again, an early departure for Narrogin via Brookton to get some caches. More importantly a stack of FTF unleashed. Armed with a TOTT snagged a few caches. Then did some Narrogin local caches. Joint [FTF] with Cockburn Crew, GT and N2O. Had a great day out with the team - and then headed to the pub for dinner to chat about the day.
Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today
Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.
