Logs
Found easily after a delightful wander beside the lagoon. Log paper is crumpled, but safe and dry. Thanks for the placement and bringing us to this spot.
I was all over Chch and surrounding areas today running errands and attending appointments. I made time to stop off for a few short walks to find some caches though, and this was one. What a lovely spot- though busier than I expected due to being school holidays and such a warm day. TFTC- all in good order
Needed one today, and was visiting a friend at burwood, so this was a good choice. And what a lovely spot. Thanks for bringing me here. Pretty sure you could fit another one or 2 here!
I had a nice walk around the lake here, admiring the lakeside properties. This area has changed so much in the last decade, it doesn't seem like very long ago when it was farmland here. Tftc!
Had to collect a cache for the 4 a day challenge around Nelson. Came by to collect this... no problems with the hide, was fairly well Camo'd. TFTC Wombles B.J&T, the cache was found in good order . Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. Find #4746
had to wait for a couple council workers weed spraying, to move on before starting my search, quickly found and in great condition; TFTC
I wouldn't have had such an interesting trip without your geocache. Thanks so much for hiding and maintaining this cache. I enjoyed the stroll from where I had parked the car to gz.
Turns out I found a park on the wrong side of the stream but luckily it wasn't too far to walk around. Quickly spotted. TFTC # 20,846
This took a while as looking at the wrong height. Lytteltonwitch spied it as we were roaming around. The height you look matters.Lovely area loads of water birds doing their thing. TFTC and taking us there.
Busypaws and I were searching for several minutes before I spotted the cache which was a bit lower than I was expecting
Found with Juju54- nice to get out for a walk after being stuck inside - TFTC
After a visit to Burwood Hospital, we walked along a lovely pathway. Beeba found the cache while I was looking in the wrong hint item.
Often the way, isn't it? You see things better when you are pointing in the right direction...
It was hard but it was kind of close to The path. and the marker Took us to the water
Was looking for new caching missions to be had when I realised we found this a month ago and never logged it. Remember it as we had some fun at the park as no kids about. Tftc
I haven't been to Prestons Lagoon before and what a lovely wee spot. The one lane bridge was interesting, not a common feature on urban roads. We found a good close by parking spot near the bridge and so a short walk later we were at GZ. Just as we were wondering where to start our search, StreetWalkerNZ turned around and spotted the cache. Phew! Thanks for bringing me here, B,J and T and TFTC.
#23219. It's amazing how many suburbs have appeared in this part of town in recent years. We've visited some areas to look for caches, but this was the first time we'd been in this particular area. A great place for a cache. Spotted when I happened to turn back and look over my shoulder. TFTC.
More belly button height than chest! I had to Google who Preston was, but I don't know who chose Styx for the river. Pharakekenui makes a lot more sense than the river of the underworld! Thanks, Wombles B.J&T
A nice quick find. We completed the walk around around the lagoon too, very pleasant. Thanks for placing your cache. Ms_KR and I went for a drive for a few caches over this side of town, while waiting to do an airport pickup.Occaisionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs. Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.
A little early for an appointment so just enough time to duck out here and luckily spot the cache quickly. Nice spot, plenty of pukekos to dissaprove of me tramping round in their bushes. Tftc
I also started looking nearer a body of water (LOTS of foliage) but soon saw the error of my ways.
Spotted the cache easily. Based on the hint I reckon I'm at least a foot taller than the CO

(Logs signed Rincewind3 or R3 if saving space. Occasionally signed BRN if caching as a team with *B*o&bronnie, *R*incewind3 and *N*otManlyJack)

Stop in today between showers to discover this lovely new area. Plenty of ducks about and walkers. TFTH
Nice quick find on the way to work, although my GPS had me much closer to the water to start with. Blends well in! TFTC!!
Really well thought through spot! Muggles galore, beautiful scenery. Had no idea this spot existed! Monster Ollie, Flint, Kobe Kenobi
Sir Belac and I dropped his sister off at her friends place for a sleep over last night, as she got out of the car I had a look at my phone, a cache only 45 meters away. Unfortunately, we were in his new cache mobile and he hasnt got a stash of pens yet. So guess who volunteered to come back this morning to pick her up. Took a while to find and it was only after reading the FTF log that we got it. TFTC

Really tried to make this harder than it was!! Struggled around in the foliage and then it was spotted by my better half, without moving a muscle!! Duh. Neat little spot and one we had no inkling about. All these new subdivisions!!! Thank you B%T.

Wet and dark outside but I decided I needed to go for a bike ride after spending all of today up until this point on the computer.
And it was a nice and refreshing 22km bike ride roundtrip just to get this cache. Yeah, not many trads left in the close vicinity from home...
Not too hard to find, luckily, as all I had was the light in my phone.
Kia ora! Paldies!
Thanks for the cache, Wombles B.J&T!

Took a while to find. Was looking in totally the wrong plant, then read TG's log and turned round and spotted the cache. TFTC.
This cache was the target of my cyclocache ride today. It was the first time I had visited this part of the Prestons subdivision. Lots of lovely new homes with many walkways. The cache was a quick find due to my having earlier read TG's log. Thanks TG for that and thanks also to BJ&T for placing this cache.
I did exactly what TG did as I discovered when I read his log! I never knew this little lake or pond was here. My grandson would have loved watching the diggers had I brought him. Tftc. #9107
**FTF** 1205am
Only noticed the new publications late Thursday evening. I guess I had a distracted sorta day?! A nice evening to duck out and try for a FTF or two on a couple as yet unlogged caches. Success in Lyttelton so i figured that i would duck out here.
Made this a lot harder than it should be...spent way too long with a dim torch pacing and ferreting in the row of pittosporum looking chest high. Expanded the search, narrowed the search...no luck. About to give up when i found my torch could go a lot brighter. Righto, that might help, one final search, along the pitto and with no luck, back along the rando's.....and I finally found the cache. Whoop whoop. Hip high and more 800/635...5m behind me, i'd searched there before chest high....but it was nicely camo'd and more Hip high Well, thats my excuse anyway. And it was dark.
I spooked all the geese in the neighborhood too, oops.
