Found during our bike ride. Turned into a long stop once our toddler saw the playground
We love nano/micro hides! So sneaky! Easy one for thr kids plus an epic playground. TFTC.
Funny, was looking for one of the newer metal seats given the hint, but trusted the GPS and was accurate. Easy to locate and log. TFTC 29 December 2023 10:19am 948
Found while enjoying a very rainy walk around the basin! My log may be smudged. TFTC!
I'm back in New Zealand for a short time after being away for four and a half years. It's the last week before I head back to the UK so I decided to spend some time in the centre having a look around and grabbing some caches. Down here to finish off the nearby adventure lab so it was a no brainier to walk over to this gz. Another quick find here. Tftc
Had to have a coue of goes at this one each time I frequented GZ there someone dining out but today all was clear signed and sealed thanks Riser5
We tried to find this one yesterday, but a family was firmly ensconced with enough food to last a long time. We gave up and moved on. Today, being our last day, we tried again. There was no one at this table, so we zeroed in before anyone got other ideas. We sat and reached with success. Thanks for bringing us here, Riser5
Staying overnight at an Airbnb not very far away I took a wander up the road to capture a few caches before dinner. No playing around here for me. I guessed what I needed to do as I approached the GZ.Thanks Riser5#4734
This was the last full day in the area, staying in Ruakaka, for some RnR with Mrs stik-a-crane, and junior cacher.... cycled around the loop collecting adv.lab intel and collecting any other caches that took our fancy....

What a great park. And getting plenty of use considering the schools went back today. We'll done Whangarei.
TFTC a nice wee hide

The playground was well patronized on a week day morning, nice to see all the new amenities for the public.
Good find on a cold winters afternoon. Forgot the pen though so will log that next time we’re here.
There was someone sat at the bench when we first passed by, all clear on return and Kylo made the find, and replaced after signing. He was a proud boy.
Meeting up with the little ones today at the new park, and after some play we went on a shortish stroll and snapped up some of the more recent (to me) hides.
Into June already and Winter is here with temperatures dropping later in the day, and curtains drawn earlier and earlier. Time to head to the 'Winterless North' - Yeah Right. A few days away up from Rangitikei and another 4 night stay at Chateau Ngunguru, the works bach. A good time to catch up with the family and grandchildren in Maungatapere, and a few trips to spend time with each other in Whangarei. Highlights of the visit; A few more Riser caches, some more 0B80B8 ones, meeting both of those COs within a few hours of each other on the Monday, and another rare Wherigo. As ever, thanks to all COs for their hides and maintenance.

Needed a cache for the Blue Switch souvenir, so stopped off for this one on a jaunt around the Hatea Loop. I hadn't actually realised how extensive the playground area was, with some awesome equipment. TFTC
Out getting caches before the rain gets here. Catching up on the newer caches that have popped up recently. Parked next to the play ground and wandered across to GZ. Another sneaky one. Was looking to the obvious but couldn't see it. Looked a bit hard and there it was. Signed and replaced. TFTC
1982. 4:23 pm. Li0nPaw and eKitten were happily enjoying the new playground so I decided to make one more find. Signed K in black ink. TFT(picnic)C.
2 of four that we collected today with our mini cacher. A nice easy spot for her to find solo.
After attending an ANZAC event we decided to spend the afternoon enjoying the Autumn sunshine with geocaching. This was our first of the afternoon and even manage to find it, log it and replace without the muggle even noticing us. Found with The TravelbugTribe. TFGC
Out with yvettetb on a post ANZAC event caching wander, this was the first one on our list. To our dismay, there was a muggle sitting there, watching the bike track. To our surprise, we managed to retrieve the cache, sign, and return it without being noticed. TFTC
