Great little hide! Forgot my pen so could not sign Thanks for the cache
I found this with the seekandfindmcleans sadly we didn't have a pen on us but we found it!
Looked through what felt like every tree, nothing. Got dark so decided to leave it for today :/
Came back to avenge a dnf after seeing someone had found it and after a while of searching all the trees I finally found it
Quick find on arrival. Surprised these trees arent climbed but otherwise a great spot for a cache. TFTC
Passing by this one so parked across the road and approached. Soon spotted the cache so after signing I added a half brick to consume better.A day trip down to Lower Hutt was planned for today, despite me being in the area for work a couple of days ago. Our daughter has bought a first home with her partner but decided to bring some boxes etc down for her next weekend so just headed to the shops today. I dropped mrs c and other daughter off at Queensgate and had a couple of hours to make some cache finds and had a good experience, mostly. After that we had lunch in Petone then off to Lambton Quay shops (one find for me there) Thanks to tyhe local COs for their caches.
A ah we did find this one very quickly with some relief i might say after a did not find with the letter V at the other end of this street . At least here was a bit of shelter here . I took nothing and left nothing . all was well with the cache . thank you for this newer cache .
There was lots of construction around here, so I had to park a bit farther away. No problem finding the cache. TFTC.
No joy for us here today. Pretty certain we looked in the right spot but just in case we expanded our search.
Couldn't find it, it appears to have gone missing but met another geocacher (little blue hen), who kindly warned us about the excessive Dog poo and broken glass in the area!
Driven past this park multiple times and never stopped! Wild windy adventure today but found it. TFTC.
This one was nested and cocooned by webs. XDAlso, the log was full, so I started a second one. Cheers.TFTC
This one took a few minutes to track down but I got there in the end. The cache is in good condition but the logbook is completely full. Thanks very much for the cache.
A nice quick find. Thanks for placing your cache. Ms_KR and I are on the road again, up "North" to visit family an friends. Today was a bit of a cruise around Lower Hutt, in fine and sunny weather. Occassionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs. Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.
We found it. TFTC. It was really tricky.we had to be careful not to be spotted. We were like ninjas.Another enjoyable Treasure after daycare.Ng mihi ki a koe!
This one took a minute as there are a couple of possibilities, but 100% success rate so far this evening (apart from my #*!% pen that would not write- always good to have a spare nearby)
Nice to be out and about with tmann421 again finding caches.
We are a little slower (post hospital stay) but managed to achieve some good finds.
Thanks to the cache owners for the hides.
Log signed and container returned.

Nice cache found with woolwood9.
Pleasant time spent getting some finds between the Hutt and Petone.
*Soon had the container located here!*
SL Thanks for the reason to visit the area.

Finally got it! Didn't look hard enough last time. Cache is all good, nice lil area it's in. Tftc!!
Easy find. Shame there’s a reasonable amount of rubbish strewn around the area. Bits of broken glass in particular.
The fourth in the series for us today so definitely not working through the alphabet from A to Z. TFTC # 19,814
In the area today so grabbing a few caches. This one was tricky, not for the hide but finding a quiet spot where somebody wasn't parked up looking straight at you. Finally got a window and made the quick grab. thanks for the cache.
I've put all the caches in this series on my "series not complete" list - and because I've only found a couple it's grown unreasonably large. So my aim today was to knock off a fair chunk of them. Unfortunately the showers became persistent during the morning so I abandoned my trip after just four. There wasn't anybody around on a drizzly Sunday morning - just a continuous stream of traffic but this location was surprisingly out of sight of the road. TFTC.
I had been wondering who Alicetown was named after... now I know! Is the nearby Ava station named after a person too??
This cache was not a quick find since I had to check several different places it could be, but after seeing someone had mentioned something out of place, I spotted it as well and that led me to the cache. All good here too. These are some nice trees
Thank you for the cache (again)!

Mr M5 is on fire today, he has found them all. Well, I found this one but he pointed me in the right direction. TFTC
#14,611. Park, walk and grab on Victoria Street in Alicetown, Lower Hutt. Fortunately, the GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Found after a short search. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.*Thanks for the geocache placement, and for bringing us to this site, and **.T h a n k s. .f o r. .t h e. .c a c h e.**.M a u r u u r u. .k o e. .n u i. .a t u. .h o k i. .t e. .k e t e r o k i.*
I was barking up the wrong tree luckily my geobuddy had better senses. A quick find
While my geocaching buddy was fondling a large tree. I walked up and had this in hand in the first place I looked. Tftc
#2475. A is for … Awesome! Back in August 2017, I failed to find a now-archived cache at this location, bringing to an end my still record 75 day finding streak.
This afternoon, all good at GZ. An easy park n grab and my 2nd of this series today. 24 more (eventually) to find.
Tftc LL113.

Quick find today and last trip probably for a while to the Hutt.. Not sure how long this one will last as anyone playing around here will probably stumble across it. Lots and lots of ants here today nearby. Thanks for the cache.
What beautiful trees! I stop near here for coffee most mornings. Found with Piwaka54
I tried to make a beginning on this series a couple of Saturdays ago but it was a false start with a DNF here. I later learned that the cache was missing. Knowing that it had been replaced I returned this evening for a surprisingly muggle free experience. I knew exactly where the cache should be so it was an extremely short search.
Before returning the logsheet to its container, I had a quick check to see if there were any code numbers or similar that may be needed later. It's probably a good idea that there isn't as, although it seems like a good idea to have bonus mystery caches, they can create a lot of extra work for the cache owner to keep things working properly.

Talla64 and I are out and about today finding caches in this series and a couple of other ones also. I'm trying for the Wheel of Challenges Souvenir, although I vaguely remember saying, some time ago, that I wasn't going for anymore souvenirs. Well, I did mean it at the time! I'm pleased to say we were successful with the A-Z series of Lower Hutt that we attempted. Thank you very much for the caches LL113. We had a nice drive on a fairly sunny day.
Out and about with Flowerydaze doing the A-Z of Lower Hutt series and some others which happened to be close by. Interesting concept. Nearly gave this one away, so many potential hiding places and poor satellite reception, however persistence paid off. Thanks for the caches LL113
A foul evening in Lower Hutt, wet and windy. Fortunately that meant that GZ was deserted, and a quick find was made. Signed the replacement log, returned as found. All good, tftc!
#12,899. Finally. I was over here fairly early this morning to avoid the crowds. Came with Infoferret who is going to an embroidery event at Upper Hutt so agreed to drop her off after we had located a few caches. I knew exactly where to look for this one so this was a quick and easy find this time. Signed the logbook and covered the cache with some natural camo. Thanks LL113 for replacing the missing container.
I walked the few hundred metres from the C cache over to here even though I could have parked a few metres away and I would drive past here afterwards too. It took me several minutes to find the right place in the dark but when I found something unusual I knew the cache had to be there somewhere and it was. The coords seemed pretty good . Went over to a streetlight to sign the cache before returning it and walking back over the bridge to the car. TFTC.
I don't think I've put in this much effort to find a single cache before (although some efforts were less than others). Finally found this on the *SIXTH* time of asking:
1. Muggles at GZ out of cars
2. Muggles parked at GZ
3. Muggles parked at GZ (what are they doing here at this time?)
4. My first actual honest attempt, ending in a DNF
5. Just carried on driving due to muggles at GZ
6. This visit!
I had parked up and there were a couple of muggles walking past but they got into a car so I had to wait a few moments for them to actually leave, but then others turned up right as I was approaching GZ. However, now that I knew where the cache was supposed to be I was able to shield myself from the multiple sets of eyes and soon had the cache in hand. Signed and replaced, and finally got this monkey off my back. All good here, and TFTC

(# 7715) I had to get a traditional cache today in order to help achieve a challenge. The area was quiet at 8pm so a quick find followed. Thanks for bringing me here.
Called here this morning, found the cache after a few minutes searching likely hint objects. Cache was very well hidden, a little bit of excavation was necessary to get to it! Signed log, TFTC
Have swung by today and cache was indeed missing. Have now replaced it with a new one. Hopefully this one lasts a bit longer.
Please ensure cache is covered with natural camo when replacing.

Found what I thought was alluded to in a previous log, but couldn't find the cache.
Two is company. Three is a crowd. I checked every tree but one spot seemed the best of the lot and I checked that from both sides. Nothing seen or felt. A previous finder at the event today confirmed that is the correct spot to look. So seems certain it has gone missing.
Having been inundated with real life recently, tonight was my first free night in some time. So, my plan, was to catch up with TwigNZ in Lower Hutt for a drink and then head off to find the (at that time) four recent geocaches published in the area. We were (quite literally) just about to order a second round of drinks when my phone alerted my to the publication of a new cache nearby. There really was no discussion required as we both tend to approach such alerts in the same way, and out the door we went. The cache was found, and then we returned for a celebratory drink.
After that, I headed off to find some more geocaches, and this was one of them. The rain and dark was doing its job of keeping any wandering people to a minimum so searching by torchlight here was no problem. There were a few options to examine, but a methodical search soon had me holding the cache in hand. I returned to the car to sign the log and then returned the cache as I had found it.
Thanks to LL113 for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with CO's like this placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.
[DGSc-Fast] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.

Now how on earth did I miss that on a previous visit? I must have been truly cache blind!
TFTC LL113 for placing this cache, number 12615 for me.

A quick find owing to a comment in a previous log which was a bit of a spoiler..
Not sure if I would have found it otherwise, even if I had it would probably have taken longer.
TFTC.

With an event in the Hutt later today, and an ongoing list of requirements for the DGSc that include fast to find caches, it is opportune to visit the first two A-Zs as recently released. My phone and geosense took me straight to this one. Thank you LL113- looking forward to seeing where else we travel.
FTF @ 1:58!
Finished work early (thanks to starting at 3am) and was bumming about at home when I got the email saying there was a new cache just around the corner.
I have walked past this place a bunch and definitely thought it would be a good place for a cache. Clearly someone else had the same idea!
After waiting for a couple of tradies to move on, I scouted about and quickly had the cache in hand. TFTC!

3 likely options. 1) It's been muggled already, 2) The coordinates are out or 3) I am cache blind. Only time will tell!
Having already been up to the Kapiti Coast after work to find a couple of caches, this evening my flatmate and I were joined in having a coffee by another friend who suggested that maybe we ought to go and take a look for this one, and then see how we feel about a few more...
On the initial approach to GZ, the other two were concentrating on proper caching which I was taking a close look at how the co-ords stacked up. The short answer is that they are perfectly acceptable. I got GZ to within about 6m from where the cache was found, which is fine especially considering we were under tree cover.
No issues at all to report here, and we were soon back on our way again, looking for more
Thank you for setting this one up

There were (are) a couple of DNFs on this cache so NZ_B and TwigNZ and I popped around way after dinner for a coordinate check. Well, the coordinates are plenty good enough! All three of us agreed. Interesting hide cover. How did it get there?
Twig and I were looking at the difficult letters for an A-Z of lower Hutt. Q - easy. Z? X? An Xtra cache?
But B!! I hope it is Britannia - the first settlement in the Wellington area - what was to become Wellington had no flat land (all the flat land there now is harbour in-fill) so the first settlers came to Petone and founded Britannia. They got flooded out due the river and so moved out and settled into Thorndon - see https://collections.tepapa.govt.nz/topic/1415.
