Logs
Out caching with Net61 this Sunday morning. We are sure that we are Twiglets friend, so headed out to find this one. We soon spotted Piglets house, safely tucked away and guarded by the prickles. This did not stop us visiting Twiglet and signing his log. The log book is a little damp but we were still able to sign ourselves in. Thanks for a creative cache which we havent seen one like before.
Found in webby condition. couldnt write in the log book due to spider nest lol. someones made themselves at home!
Loved this cache it was so well made and really cool. Hint was perfect! Logbook was wet though unfortunately.
Out on the Shore caching with Team Welsh again today, this time concentrating on caches to the west of the motorway that neither of us have found. As we approached this one, I recalled that we had done a fun multi cache here some years ago (maybe FTF even). The reserve looks a bit different now, with less bush around the edges, and lots of fruit trees planted (but why did they plant an avocado under an oak tree??). We made our way to GZ, spied the prickly plant our GPSs were pointing to, and had a few qualms. Mrs TW went one way and I went the other, and almost immediately spied something of interest. Pulled it out (prickle-free) and we were delighted with the nicely constructed object. Thanks for the fun. Adding a Favourite point.
Nice walk across to GZ add spied a somewhat prickly location that looked promising. Mrs KC took one side and I took the other and she came up trumps. Cute cache, the log book was a little damp but still writeable. TFTC
Wasnt too sure about venturing down to this park when nobody else was around. Tiptoed over the wet grass & made a quick find. Really enjoyed the camo here. [TFTC]
I too look the wrong way first as I was only following my GPS but the hint gave it away and I soon had the cache in hand. The grass is quite high here, I guess they havent been able to maintain the park with all the rain weve had. Cool hide and a story that made me smile. Favourite point from us. TFTC
I dropped the elder future finder off at the YMCA to attend a basic car maintenance workshop late this afternoon. That gave me a window to head out this way and find my cache for the day. I parked up at the end of Bay Park Place and entered the reserve. I followed the path until it ran out and then made my way over the sodden ground to access ground zero. My phone pointed one way but I followed my nose and went the otherwise and came up with a quick find. I admired the construction before signing the log. I took the three trackabkes that I found in the cache. Cheers for the cache placement!
Had a spare afternoon and it was a beautiful sunny day, so this cache was my target today!
The last time I parked in Kahika Rd, it involved me walking through mud and mangroves to get the nearby "Stranded in Oruamo" cache!
Lots of fun.
A previous visit here many more years ago , was for the awesome multi No.1 Hole..now archived sadly.
Thankyou kiwiscot for your new offering here!
Soon found Twiglet's House ...so packed with goodies it was tricky to close up !
Many thanks.....
....nice to see that the young mandarin and lime trees here are bearing fruit!

Obviously Kiwi's Dad's skills has passed on to him in turn passed on to his daughter. Have a fav point on me for a well crated cache. Was thinking of the FTF but would have been late for work, so waited for a dot and (fineish) day to find. Also wanted to nab before the road works start next week on the main road, so assume the workers may use this as a nice spot for lunch. Anyhow a a little hunt and I was slightly off track but realized my mistake so signed the log. Left all the trackables but lots of room for them.
Cheers for the cache

Was wondering why no one was going for this one, so in trepidation I travelled to this one fully expecting to see someone walking out from the park but to my great delight managed to find this little treasure and sign the empty log book for an {FTF} !
What an amazing piece of work this cache is BTW, very thematic, well built, Gorby should be impressed!
Thanks!
FP added and well deserved.
Took one TB, added another.
