Up in Cambridge to support my brother as he was competing in the National Powerlifting 24. Today was our journey day back home so had some opportunities to get some caches along the ride Quick park and grab here. I wrote in the log and placed the cache carefully back as found. TFTC. After a DNF six months ago we were keen to turn this into a smiley and were in the area so headed over to give it a try.Last time we were here we found a perfect hiding spot for a cache but it was empty however today we checked the same hiding spot and there was the cache.A read of the previous logs shows that it has moved about a bit over the past few months but has now made its way back to where it belongs. We are very pleased to turn this into a smiley, so thanks to elwyn1948 for the placement and to GSEL for returning it to its intended home.
#13,878. After spending the morning geocaching around Cambridge it was time to head towards Hamilton and rather than get there at 110 km/hr I decided to drive the slower path picking up the Te Awa trail caches. Good there is the option to either bike or drive alongside this bike trail as I don't own a bike. I parked opposite and wandered over to GZ. Did an extensive amount of searching but found nothing as per the description or hint. So read the past logs. And with a more careful look in the front of a larger tree I found the cache tucked away. Signed the logsheet then placed the cache in the natural hollow 50cm away that fitted the hint and description far better than where it was currently residing. Thanks elwyn1948 for hiding it here.
A nice quick find. Thanks for placing your cache. Ms_KR and I are on the road again, up "North" to visit family an friends. Today was a bike ride around the block. Nice and flat and successful! Occassionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs. Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.
Plenty of room to park over on the grass across the road. Must admit I almost gave up here, but after an extensive search, I found it tucked away as I was about to leave. As others have mentioned, not sure if it has been moved, but found in a location that seems opposite to the description, re "front" and "big"... TFTC
The promise of a fine, warm day had us out and about on our bikes for a long overdue caching trip on some of Waikato's great bike trails. This cache was well hidden and had us foxed until we went back for one final check... AND... Cache is all good. TFTC
Out and about hunting down smilies to complete the final souvenier challenge.Staying at Mystery Creek to attend the moho show but time out today for caching. Unfortunately we don't have the bikes with us so driveby caching required. Took a few circles of the area to locate this one TFTC
I expanded my search zone was almost about to give up when i spotted it on my last ditch attempt well hidden behind a bit of camouflage. Thankyou for the cache
Always very satisfying to turn a blue face into a yellow smiley. Last time we searched and searched - this time it was a quick find - go figure! I’m sure that it was missing last time Happy to find it, TFTC
Had to spend a little time here. Found the perfect spot and had to expand the search and there it was. Tftc
School holidays so time for a road trip and some caching. Stayed the night on Duncan road near the end of the trail. Woke ridiculously early and walked the whole trail collecting all 14 caches. Was very grateful that the finds were straight forward and a phone torch sufficed. Did have a full moon show itself intermittently which helped. This one took a while and I had to read previous logs before making the find. Thanks for a fun time.
Out today to get our points for The Solstice souvenir
Bit wet day this way
Nice wee hide Thanks

Out and about with ABCDF4 picking up points for the solastic souvenir,
nice quick finds with not to many mugglers Thanks Elwyn.
nice quick finds with not to many mugglers Thanks Elwyn.
This find was a little suspicious.
I am certain it has been moved.....as I found a really perfect hole behind a "thin " one.
However I expanded my search and found a coloured pill bottle at the side of a "big" one .

Came previously at night with no luck, so decided to come back today in the daylight. Didn't take long to spot. Hint doesn't quite match, think cache may have moved. GL now. Tftc
Last time we came it was night time so I spotted it quite quickly today. All quiet at the moment. Cache may have moved as hint doesn't quite match, GL now.
No luck for us today. We saw a very likely hiding spot that matched the hint but it was empty.
We'll be back.
We'll be back.
Searched for this one with Jagersmum. Found a perfect spot for it, right on the coords and matching the hint, but no cache. Couldn't find anywhere else for it. :/
A fun bike ride along the trail this afternoon but no luck with this one and dusk was not far away. Another time…
Yay! The last one of the day on a fantastic cycle ride. A quick find. TFTC
had to wait a while until GPS settled here.
another quick cache find after this.

With (Mr) Davidson Clan and Gap (of Fap and Gap)… The continuing bad weather and the Rotorua Marathon weren’t enough of a deterrent from caching. Another mini road trip across the Waikato.
Our iPhone gps thought we needed some exercise, so it sent us back and forth through the plants. When it eventually settled, this was a quick find. Thanks elwyn1948. TFTC.

This was a very quick find, with very good co-ords. This is a great little series and we are glad to be back in the area, collecting the latest placements. TFTC

It was good to get out of Rotorua today and over the hill into the Waikato area for a bit of geocaching. The weather was a lot nicer than in Rotorua. We went via Matamata, Morrinsville and on to Hamilton then home through Cambridge. Thanks to the CO for hiding.
