On a little roadie south from Tauranga to visit my daughter. Lovely bike ride around the area today. Many thanks for bringing me here.
Heute haben wir kleinen Spaziergang gemacht und uns den Golfplatz angeschaut .Das Versteck und die Dose waren schnell gefunden .MPLC und schne Gre von uns aus Deutschland .
Had a maintenance trip to the beach and it seemed rude not to do this one in passing. Tftcsl
(10219) Up the coast today to visit relatives. While up grabbed a few caches as well. A nice quick find but had to wait a moment or two for a couple of golfers to pass by.Thanks suepate for taking the time to place the cache and for bringing me here.
Having made my way to the coast and now slowly moving north, one cache at a time. Stopped off here to find a surprisingly large cache, given the location.---I try to get every geocaching souvenir going, but this August challenge is looking difficult. Find 100 caches between now and 1 September? Luckily I have one spare weekend, so will use that to get the Dannevirke helmet. That leaves forty more caches to find... I need to get stuck in somewhere. I need to do some small geotrips. So the plan is to grab the bike and cycle-cache around Waikanae, Great! Except that I accidentally got off at the wrong station. Rather than wait for the next train I decided an impromptu plan change was called for and instead spent the day caching around Paraparaumu. The other problem is that it was raining. After the first 3 caches it got a bit heavier so I hid under New World's shelter for half an hour at which point the rain stopped. By 2pm I had finished with Paraparam and found myself cycling towards Paekakariki. I am all for that, but sometime then it is supposed to start raining again, and I was already feeling the early drops. I pulled the plug and went back to Paraparam, it being closer than Paekakariki at that point, and headed home. 25 caches found. Once I add the 61 for the helmet I should be pretty good for the souvenir! Sweet Of course, this means that next year's August challenge is going to be that much harder...
Nice quick park and grab here today when passing by. Picked up little rabbit trackable and dropped off one.
Whow, sussah21 and me on a yourney to New Zealand. We have planned this trip for many years, and finaly we are here.We will visit lovely places, hopfully see animals and birds that we dont have back home.Thank you so much for all the caches.Greetings from Sweden and Norway Found when we were helping selling plums at the marked.Fin tur. God stemning hele veien.
I had planned to search for this cache a few ago but there were muggles out and about on both sides of the road. However, I did manage to figure out where the cache was likely to be hidden and today I was able to prove that my idea was correct with a quick find of the nicely hidden treasure.
#14,414. Park and grab on McKay Street in Paraparaumu Beach, Paraparaumu. Fortunately, the GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Quick find. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. But unfortunately, Goin' With the Flow was not in the cache. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.*Thanks for the geocache placement, and for bringing us to this site, and **.T h a n k s. .f o r. .t h e. .c a c h e.**.M a u r u u r u. .k o e. .n u i. .a t u. .h o k i. .t e. .k e t e r o k i.*
I hadn't noticed this cache "appear" since I don't often look for caches to find in this part of the world. But the isolated green icon was slightly conspicuous amongst the yellow of caches I've found and blue of puzzles I can't be bothered solving. I left the car out on the main(ish) road and walked the short distance to the cache. A reasonably quick find but then I noticed I was being watched. By a cat. I continued the process of opening and signing while the cat got bored and slinked off into the bushes. I don't really like golf courses in urban areas since they always seem to be a waste of otherwise useful land which could be for houses, parks, forest, etc. Thanks for the bigger-than-expected cache.
Were up the coast on a whnau outing, so I took the opportunity for a small cache dot day. Quick find while the muggle across the road yelled at her yapping dog. Thanks suepate
#13,610. Just been over on Kapiti Island for a few days and decided to show my colleagues on the trip the joys of geocaching. We drove around here and the newbies found it before me. As always seems to happen these days. Signed the log and replaced the cache where found. Although I have heard of the golf course not sure I have ever seen it before. Thanks suepate for hiding it here.
**19,180**Interesting information about the formation of the golf course here. A nice quick find for us by torchlight tonight. TFTC
I met Flossie110 for coffee this morning and then we headed off in her new car to do some geocaching. This was our first stop. We ended up parking pretty close so it didnt take long to make the find, after checking the description. Thanks suepate for the cache at this lovely spot.I dropped off a trackable Ive been carrying around with me for a few weeks. It is one I particularly liked, so I wanted to find just the right place to put it.
30 September 2023 18:23 TFTC suepate for placing this cache, number 13030 for me. A quick diversion in the way to a meal out with the family. Bitterly cold wind this evening, so glad I found it quickly!
It took about 3 mins to drive there and then we found it straight away when we got to the gofl course
I stopped off here while doing the Wherigo that starts with the Mary statue. Nice quiet spot on a Monday afternoon with a view of the course. TFTC
It's day eleven of this months Wheel of Challenges challenge, the streak. I am running low on easily accessible caches in the Wellington region, and it's a nice enough night for a drive tonight, so I made my way out to Kapiti for tonights find. I had no trouble finding this good sized cache, safe and dry.

Thanks to suepate for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with CO's like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.
[DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.

Quick find today. Great to see a good sized container well maintained. I wish I'd brought some decent swaps. Gets an FP from me.
Stopped here on this lovely sunny day
Waited for one golfer to walk away and checked the coast was clear
Felt very conspicuous signing in broad daylight with houses nearby

I spotted this cache a couple of weeks ago and decided to grab it after my beach walk today. Congrats on your first hide. I'm delighted there's now a cache big enough for travel bugs just around the corner! I'm therefore giving this a favorite. All good at GZ and love the cute container. TFTC.
Returning from a bike ride to Peka Peka on a lovely afternoon and made a slight detour to pick up this one. A quick find. #6400. TFTC.
A beautiful Kapiti day couldn't go to waste, so off to collect some miscellaneous caches about the place. A quick find and sign, cache in good condition. TFTC suepate.
Nice quick stop here with tmann421 today.
Another find for the monthly challenge tally.
Great view of the clubhouse from a different angle.
Thanks suepate for the hide

Itchyfeet2020 and I decided to do some caching before attending today’s event. This is one cache that neither of us had found. Great views of the golf course and the dog was not barking -as per another comment.
Kia ora rawa atu for the cache suepate.

Picked up NZ_B early for a event up this way so we could get a bit of caching in. This was on our long cut caching route - that was sort of made up by comparing both of our phones - her map is a lot emptier than mine! What a great view at GZ. Sun is shining - view thru to the hills is gorgeous. TFTC.
Out for an early morning walk. I thought it would be reasonably quiet here this morning but there were already golfers out enjoying the area.
No problems making the find. I left an alphabet stone - the letter I.
Thanks for putting this here

This was a nice find this afternoon. It's a good spot for a cache.
I've never played on the course, I can't afford the greenfees!
Thanks very much for the cache.

Called here this morning just as the rain was starting. Nobody around and the cache was a very quick find. Signed log, TFTC
The house I grew up in backed onto this golf course so I had many interactions with this place during my younger years. With mates we got up to all manor of mischief and tried pretty much everything apart from golf itself.
A little later in life I did foolishly attempted to 'golf' however this grass covered collection of sand dunes turned every single ball into a 'one hit wonder'. A habit that turned out to be just as crazy as using million dollar satellites to find pieces of Tupperware in the bush!
A nice quick find right where the GPS was pointing. TNLNSL TFTC

Quick after school cache grab. We managed to park exactly where we needed to be to shield ourselves whilst extracting.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Was able to park opposite gz just after sunset. A quick park and grab which helped keep my daily streak running.
The neighbour whose house across the road overlooks the cache are came out to walk her schnauzer dog. We had a quick chat about geocaching and she said her dog barks at everyone - so expect to be welcomed when its your turn to come for a visit. TFTC

Such an awesome spot! Shame the golfer had lost his ball but we found the treasure. TB uplifted and will find itself somewhere else in NZ!
What a quandary I was in. Supposed to be on my way to a meeting in Waikanae, in completely the opposite direction. What to do? The meeting can't start without me unfortunately. Oh well, it's a no brainer, caching comes first. {FTF} joint with matagouri.
I've played on this course many times in my golfing days and enjoyed it very much. I also enjoyed watching Tiger Woods when he played in the NZ Open years ago.
Thanks for setting up this cache suepate. I'm giving it a FP for the view. Congratulations on your first cache; I hope it won't be your last.

Joint [FTF] 8.21 am. I was alerted to this newly published cache as I was having breakfast, only just down the road. Hopped in the geomobile, pulled up at GZ at the same as Flowerydaze. All quiet at GZ, made a quick find. Tftc!
