Another great park and a great sculpture. We woke to a bright sunny morning with the promise of a warmer day, and were not disappointed as we planned to head out to Queen Mary Falls for some sightseeing and caching on our way.The undulating countryside was enjoyable as caches took us on a tour of the area.Dagg, Queen Mary and Browns Falls were spectacular and certainly worth a visit on their own. The walk round Queen Mary Falls was spectacular and the track to and from Browns Falls an adventure with another spectacular finish.A good day had!Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Dunmowin.**SKI Pair****

Today is Blue Switch Day, and we are out and about with only one local unfound cache on our target. But while we are out and about, let us take a 100k detour and perform some maintenance on existing caches.Just passing, stopped to use the windyloo, have lunch, shelter from the rain, and perform. health check on cache. Nice and dry. Thank you cachers for returning this cache to its hidy hole well sealed.

**Found Sunday 17-March-2024 at 17:36 Smiley #2319**Out exploring the Southern Downs. Went from home through 14 crossings, then Killarney and a few other small towns before hightailing it as it got dark.Didn't even know this little town existed but it was great to pull up and the GZ and instantly spot it. All in good condition as Mrs Rogersclan did the deed whilst I was setting up podcasts to play to fill the time.Cache logs are either stamped, signed with Rogersclan13 or just RC13 for space. Thanks for the cache **Dunmowin** Big GrinRogersclan13 Cool

Great little park for kids to play. Standing at the sandstone statue, my 1 yo was the one to spot it first. Just had to bend down to pick him up to find it. Thanks for the history on this beautiful little town!

I'm not sure I can express how special this little town is to me but for the last 40 years I have been a regular visitor as most of my extended family live here. Nearby is the property my grandparents lived in for longer than I have been alive. I found this cache on the day that we said goodbye and scattered their ashes on their property. For most cachers this will just be another smile on their map but for me it reminds me of some of the greatest moments in my life. Thanks Dunmowin for giving people a reason to visit this magic area.

Parked the car and walked over to GZ. After a short search I noticed something that looked out of place. Interesting cache placement. TFTC

Out for an unplanned drive with Helen from next door. Recently home from hospital, she was in the need of a drive in the country. We volunteered to chauffer her, but it had to be where we might just find a cache or two.As we were passing by I stopped to check to see if the Tamnymorel Collier was OK. Yup, he is in good condition! Snails appear to have stopped kicking him around

What a cool sculpture and an interesting historical marker/plaque. I was expecting this to be a quick find, but after searching the typical place and just revealing snails, a former log appeared to suggest that I just needed to keep "snailing around". At that moment whilst I was at the height of looking suspicious, [Muggle65](https://coord.info/PR10G2R0) and [THE GREEN GECKOS](https://coord.info/PR1Q82V) pulled up behind me to give me a scare. As it turned out, I was looking in the wrong area, so they were able to provide the correct nudge. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Perhaps it was just me today, but the difficulty felt a little underrated given the unique cache hide. Thanks Dunmowin for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

----------

Today, my primary plan was hiking Wilsons Peak as part of the [Willy's Peakers](https://coord.info/GCAC7JQ) event. Subsequently, it was an early morning drive south towards the Qld-NSW border via Ipswich parkrun and Boonah. Following the mountain hike, I then used my afternoon to drive through Killarney and the smaller towns east of Warwick, like Tannymorel, Junabee, and Freestone, before then returning home via Cunningham’s Gap, Warrill View, and Walloon. Locations from the [Join Muriel on a trip around the Southern Downs](https://adventurelab.page.link/oPPR) Adventure Lab were also visited, with those relevant murals being a highlight.

Tannymorel, great name for an out of the way destination. Nice little hide here and it did take another before (the green geckos) spied it, me I had the usual case of cache blindness & had a play with the local leaf eaters at the base of the hide.

Worth a visit. TftC.

Amazed to read in your cache description about the history of Tannymorel and its coal mine - caching certainly takes you to some interesting and maybe overlooked places.
Along with others I found the resident snails but persevered to find the clever hide. Another FP given.

Blkthunder and I planned to spend the day together… That day started wth a trip to Lowood to see our youngest Stumpy Tailed Cattle Dog take out Best of Breed…

We then set off for a “country drive” for a couple of hours which included this interesting location…

BlkThunder made the find while I was still circling…

Thanks Dunmowin

It was getting dark when I got the mural and this one. I had hoped to get the other one down the road but it was too late, will have to come another day to get that one.

I told my niece and nephew that they can look for it. The niece found about 10 snails so was a bit squeamish about looking. The nephew spotted it and I was able to sign the log. Left the coin in the bag for someone else to have as I don’t generally collect these.

Thangs again for another hide Dunmowin

Word of warning - if you want the thrill of finding a cache, then don’t go with a non-Geocaching hubby!!

While I was juggling between phone & GPS and trying to get things to work, my darling hubby goes “is this is??”!!!!!!

Thanks to Dunmowin for bringing us to Tannymorel!

Was nearby getting a ftf when I noticed this on the map. So I had a discussion with my geodog Scruffy and she decided we would take a detour on the way home.

All Good ... TFTC ..

Hi there Dunmowin, we found your cache Tannymorel Collier today.

Day two touring out from Warwick. Previous days have seen some great geocaching, and today is looking to be the same if not better.

Woo hoo!! **FTF** for us today. Totally unexpected, but nonetheless, very welcome.

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our tour around the countryside today, & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, sizes and ratings.

Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where our GPS said we should be looking.

Cache Condition: Good.

Regards
Ian & Penny
