What a very clever cache! I love the simplicity, yet well thought out design! Thanks for this quick grab and go on the way to work! Thanks for find 334!
This cache is outside of my typical caching radius as it is a bit too far away from home or work. However, I ended up getting requested to support afternoon shift at work today, which meant I had the entire morning off to try and grab a few caches. So with my extra time this morning I decided to venture a bit outside of my typical caching radius and down towards Cranbourne.I always love a good **gadget** cache, and so when I noticed that this cache had the *"Field Puzzle"* attribute it was quickly added to today's targets. I ended up parking at the nearest [recommended parking coordinates](https://www.geocaching.com/seek/wpt.aspx?WID=c37c4b6d-d69a-4277-bb1e-10f02fc5ff6a&RefID=dd626b34-0fdc-47d6-9b7d-725d3386cbf8&RefDS=1). Of course, that was before I saw that it required a bit of *"fence hopping"*.Well the fence indeed didn't look to high and so I quickly hopped over it and made the walk up to GZ. Once I arrived at GZ I quickly spotted the beautifully crafted cache. A bit of a bold hide, but it blended in well and so I am sure the average person would pay no attention to it. I have actually found a few **gadget** caches of similar craftsmenship, in-fact I also having been toying with the idea of hiding a cache just like this one. So I insatiately knew how to gain access to the logbook. A big thanks goes to [xrocketx](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=13ee8ee6-4f6a-4c75-96e2-ec5bcf549db3&wid=dd626b34-0fdc-47d6-9b7d-725d3386cbf8&ds=2) for this beautifully crafted cache. TFTC.**Cache Maintenance Status:**The outer cache container was in good shape and blended in nicely. The attachment mechanism still seemed strong and the opening mechanism worked smoothly. It appears a couple of spiders however had taken up residence inside the outer container. There were clusters of spider webs around the corner. I did also discover two dead spiders. I did my best to clear them out, so hopefully there are no living spiders in the cache, but there is still some spider web clusters. The inner cache container was also in good shape and the logbook was clean and dry with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.
Find 3341Parked near the corner and performed a fence jump. Then it was a short stroll over to GZ.Nice and big.Got to the cache and signed the log and all back safe again as foundThanks xrocketx.A favourite point awarded for your design and manufacture of the cache.
Find number 13441 at 12:52:50PM on Thursday the 27 June 2024Travelled down to Casey Fields to do some cache maintenance and I just must grab a cache or two whilst I in the area.Nice hide and a quick find **Thanks for placing this cache xrocketx**---*WOW, so much happening here in Victoria*Log your will attend for [**Cachemas In July**](https://coord.info/GCAPPGD) and get your [tickets here]( https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1228458?) for the event in Kensington on 27 July 2024.Log your will attend for [**SideTracked Day 2024**](https://coord.info/GCAPPGF) on 10 August 2024 at the Miniature Railway Park in Eltham. The Great Victorian Cache Crawl is coming on 17-18 August 2024, this year starting near Melbourne heading up around Echuca and back over the weekend. After visiting a nearby bakery to get something to eat and say hello to one of the workers we know, we came here to find this one. I had to do it alone as Geoboy was still in the Geomobile munching on a pie. All quiet on a warm Saturday afternoon.
The council has lovingly installed a fence around the track. I've added new parking coordinates for anyone not wanting to jump the fence. I've updated the terrain to reflect the extra obsticles (longer walk, climbing fences).
Geokid loved this one and was happily using a piece of the cache as a wand to make circles bit hard to actually get to the cache without scaling the fence.
Following on from the family frivolity at the nearby bat cave, we drove over here to the listed parking coordinates.Hmmm, it seems the council had other ideas. No gate just a new, slightly lower section of fence in our way.Okay. I clambered over the fence and then Jeremy passed Charlotte over to me.The two of us made our way to GZ. *(Read: Granddad carrying a 2 1/2 yo. lol)* Charlotte actually released the cache mechanism, (with maybe just a little bit of help). The cache was opened and signed. My darling granddaughter had to then be convinced that the part of the cache was not actually another magic wand, and needed to be put back where it belonged. lol I looked around to see her disappearing into the knee high grass on her way to her Daddy. After passing her back over the fence, I walked back to the corner and climbed out.I have added coordinates for the nearest access point that doesn't require climbing fences. Parking: S 38 07.508 E 145 18.924
*Found on the 4 Jan 2024 @ 12:44pm.**Cache find # 15448.* I was down this way for other reasons but seeing I was and I had a bit of time, I decided to have a look for a few caches that I would normally pass on by.I headed to the parking waypoint but had to jump the fence to get to GZ where the cache was found easy enough, it was just a matter of getting to the log book which was done shortly after. The are a few critters that are calling this cache home.**Thanks to xrocketx for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**
buhfuhguh decided to drag me out for one last caching expedition in 2023 as we sought to determine what all the fuss was about out Casey Fields way.A few new publications have popped up since my last visit here (which might've even been the mega upon further thought; quite a spooky thought indeed) and after failing to extract the log from the not-quite-tree-fishing cache nearby, we decided to redirect our attention to this hide instead.A hop over the (recently added/reinforced perhaps?) fence was required to take advantage of the shortest route to gz.It feels like one of the more bizarrely open locations I've seen, and no doubt a little riskier on days where it's in active use!But with only one person out walking, we were free to investigate the obvious hide at gz.Luckily for me, buhfuhguh investigated first and discovered the nest of white tail spiders concealed within!A pretty fair jump back ensued before the giant commenced a careful extraction of the log for us to sign before slotting it back in and securing the hide up once more. Those who aren't especially enticed by the idea of some nasty spider bites are advised to stay away for the moment until they vacate the area! Thanks to xrocketx for putting this one out!
31 December 2023 4:50pmAnother day another cache, after visiting the nearby tree fishing cache and unsuccessfully opening the cache.... we decided to drive around the corner and pick this one up instead. Jumping the fence and seeing what was clearly the cache I was soon figuring out how to open it. After opening it it seems that I disturbed a fair few white tails. But with careful extraction, the cache was soon in hand. Thanks for the cache and the little adventure.
The council has replaced the fence with a much higher one. Easy access is available near the parking location. I'll watch the area and update if they build a gate at this gap, which may restrict access.
We were in the area and decided to drop by this cleverly constructed cache.A few critters had taken residence within but we evicted them.Every time we visit this area we are amazed by how much it changes between visits. Thanks xrocketx for a creative and fun cache. A favourite point from us.Chiefton!!!
Geohubby (GeoTigerAce) and I are headed off on a 4 week holiday from Brisbane heading to Canberra, Parkes, Katoomba, Sydney, Melbourne, Ballarat, Dubbo, and Coonabarabran as our main stops, with lots of side stops along the way planned. A much needed road trip to take in the sites and spend some time away in nature.Over the course of our 4 weeks I wanted to focus on Australia's 'oldest' caches, and caches of interest (e.g., iconic locations, interesting locations, lots of favourite points, and places I have never been) as well as hitting my next milestone (#600). It has been a wonderful trip and we have seen so much, and spent a lot of time caching and exploring little places of interest. Thanks to all of the cache owners for maintaining these caches and bringing us to beautiful places on our travels, and challenging us to keep on looking at the world just a little bit differently. Lots of memories have been made.Day 17: TripCache #74: Today we woke up on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula in VIC at the in-law's place where we will be staying for a few days now. Giving geohubby some time with his parents I thought I would take off and grab an opportunity for some 'alone' time and get some local caches that I haven't had a chance to get on previous trips. Thanks for keeping up the local caches in this area.
Found it , that was easily spotted, out in the open here. Excellent crafted cache. Log signed all in good order. Tftc
Felt very exposed here with bikes circling the tree but after having a go getting the container open resorted to reading some logs for assistance. Looks like brute force was what was needed (which I am always hesitant to do with these types of caches). On this occasion worked like a charm and other than some.wet feet a successful find. TFTC!
Bring your gumboots! Very muddy at the moment but my geohubby braved the ground and was able to retrieve the logbook. Very cute cache! Clever design, gets a fave from us!
We found this cache today on our Casey Caching Clamber. What a nice little cache. A pleasure to find. Our 21st cache find at Casey Fields. Thanks from D & HA B-A
We needed a cache nearby to put a couple of TBs in and this was just perfect

Wow! That was pretty cool! Tony Stark would be proud. I love to see a cache that shows creativity and individuality.. well done xrocketx. A well deserved favourite point given
I found your cache and signed the log love your cache and fav from me xrocketx, thank you so much for placing it.
Out and about with Tiz13 for another one of our weekly caching adventures, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles.
This is one of the caches found today. Well we figured out how to open it but it just would not move, it took a lot of twisting and brute fires to get it to move it sure was jammed. Great construction but you need to take in to consideration that wood swells when wet.
Thanks xrocketx for the cache.

Out with Rebel Acts on this icy morning to tackle a few caches. This was the first on our list. I went prepared with my gumboots on. However, I didn't eat my weetbix. Cache was located, and we figured we knew what to do. But try as we might, it didn't work , so then it was time to think outside of the box.. we tried with our TOTT but that left us stumped.. OK, back to plan 1. It was time to evoke my catwomen powers. With my eyes closed to focus better, I was able to finally open the cache. A few cache gaurdians have moved in already, but they are only small. Favourite point from me for construction. Hopefully, a little tweeking will have it working perfectly.
Had a few minutes to spare before the shops opened so took the opportunity to drop into Casey Fields to seek out a cache or two
Just 2 pairs of riders on the track this morning which made for easy access to GZ
Very wet underfoot but what can one expect, after all it is winter!
This one certainly didn't disappoint
Excellent construction which took a minute or two to gain entry to the log book
All in pristine condition as would be expected of a new hide
An excellent job xrocketx. Goes on my fav list for sure

**Traditional Find #3174**
**FTF**
A FTF hunt was the last thing I expected to be doing this afternoon. I'd been for a 6km walk and was enjoying a quiet nap after not much sleep last night when my phone announced the arrival of several emails. As expected, there were more caches published at St. Arnaud and near Shepparton but also one near me. I headed out into the afternoon traffic to a place I've got to know quite well this year. I often include the Crit track in my bike rides because although its a bit boring riding round and round by myself, at least no one is there trying to kill me unlike being on public roads.
I appreciate the parking waypoint and quickly found myself at GZ. I wasn't expecting this type of hide. It was interesting without being stupidly difficult to open. Unfortunately, I can only award one favourite point because I think it deserves more.
