Taking two kids 8 & 9 camping for their first time and they were super keen to find a geo cache. Anthony finally found his first one and was super stoked so thanks for the cache! They stayed and played in the near hiding place for a while Thankyou
Camping nearby in our Motorhome & grabbed this afternoon. Found on the ground but replaced as 'hint' TFTC
Quick find. Not the tree expectedLast cache of the day, and just before it started to rain. We sent Daddypig, his Assistant and the geohound back to the car whilst we came across the park to find this one. The gps took us past the tree I had thought it might be, but we soon zeroed in on another one. I went in at one side, and GeohoundandI went to the other, and she spotted the cache straight away.
The cache may have migrated from its assigned location and down to ground level. TFTC.
Keeping it 'local' this weekend and taking a stroll with Mrs NZT and two geo-hounds. Weather was perfect and the caches were a bonus along the way!Found the right tree easily but the cache was hiding a little further away from it but that didn't stop me making the find. Thanks for the cache.
Being back in the area of Auckland and having some muggle friends with me I opted about for a nice (loooong) walk, and they joined me they seemed a bit exhausted after some hours so off we went to waiheke island to visit some vineyards Well foundTftc
Spent time looking in the slight wrong area, found from a different angle after 10 minutes
Out this way this afternoon to walk the MPI beagle along the beach for the last time before he heads back for formal training...hopefully he makes the grade an becomes an airport sniffer dog....When we first arrived here the mowers were doing their thing, so we headed along the water front first, and we walked straight up to this one for the find upon our return.......TFTC.
Was threatening another heavy rain shower, so tiptoed my way to GZ. Took me a while but got there eventually. TFTC
M25 / m14: looking around, we saw what the hint described, and there it was. Nice and easy find, log all good and signed here. TFTC.
After walking to Maraetai form Omana we came by here this cache on the way back. Still quite muddy around the area which almost had me sliding down the hill. Check a couple of places further in first then readjusted to make a quick find. TFTC.
On another tidy up mission to Auckland with ABCDF4 and KGD , arrived at this cache and cache was soon located, signed and returned. Thanks for the find
Another find in the park. Originally looked at the wrong hint item before we located. Thank you for the placement.
It was very wet, muddy and slippery underfoot getting to GZ but careful stepping got us there without incident.
After initially checking the wrong place we changed our focus and soon spotted the nicely concealed cache.
Thanks sabre5 for this and the other caches you placed nearby. It was really nice to come back and walk this trail again.

Enjoying a walk today with Net61 in this lovely area!
Even saw a dotterel on the beach.... plus lots of oystercachers .
I think Net61 spotted this one first.
Cheers for the new caches!

Discovered this beautiful spot early in the morning and got my feet all wet due to the long grass. Arrived close to GZ and spotted a suitable hint object from a little distance. I went straight on to it, only to discover that it was the wrong object.
Mmh, couldn't find another suitable hint object and decided to do it all over again. Approached GZ slowly and eventually spotted something promising that I had passed the first time. Yes, it was the cache. Reading the hint I was expecting something a little different, but got there in the end.
Thanks for hiding and maintaining.

Even though this cache came out first thing this morning I was dubious about going for this and two others released in the immediate area. I had had an interrupted nights sleep with an upset tummy and wasn't sure if I could trust the length of walk... however it WAS an FTF opportunity.
I grabbed geodog who was expecting his normal walk and we headed to Omana. Parked close to GZ and wandered over. The grass was long and full of dew so my shoes were soaked even before I got to GZ.
I made a real mess of finding this. Geodog sitting on the perimeter with his head cocked as if to say "hey dad are you gonna be much longer"
Eventually found the cache and was happy to find a blank log for my troubles.. Signed the log and replaced.
Geodog looked a lot happier now that we could continue his walk.
Thanks for the cache placement.

TFTC. I had previous commitments first thing this morning so I had to let NZT claim the honours. Took a bit of rummaging around but it payed off.
