Logs
Found - a clever hide that I found on the second go over. A lovely place for a wander and even a gazebo to hide in when it rained . Tftc
Out and about caching while travelling around South Island, from Australia. Found this cache and signed the log. TFTC
Today's trip takes us from Ashburton to Christchurch via Springfield! A variety of caches visited as well as ALs. Many thanks to the COs for placing these caches.
Working in the area so popped into the garden to grab this. Nice work on the cache construction.
So many caches in this park over the years. Hope yours lasts longer than some of the others.
Took some reading of past logs to locate this very cool cache! Thanks for constructing this sneaky guy!
Day 8 of our NZ adventure. Junior muggle and I headed out to explore the caches of Methven on our down day. A lovely little garden. The cache almost had as but log was signed and returned to its original location. TFTC Geomum007
Used the compass to find the spot. Was a very cool clever spot. Lovely garden. Kids loved this one.
Heading to methven for the night to catch up with friends before going overseas for a while...so have a bit of time to spare to grab all the new ones since I've been away...sense of de ja vu walking through the gardens Should have trusted my gut when search when I spotted it from the right angle tftc
These are lovely gardens but just a quick visit today. Clever hide which had me fooled at the start. Have a favourite. TFTC #22,163
Thanks for the cache Geomum007. Had visited this place previously I presume to pick up a cache. Took me awhile but like the previous finder I went back to the first place I looked and there was the cache. FP for the effort.
Taking a short break from working I decided to head to this garden and cache. I remember getting a previous cache here a few years ago and noted that the garden had grown since then but that there was also signs of water damage which is a pity. At GZ I went around in circles for a little bit and with some nearby voices and my work emails continuing to ping me I wondered if I should just leave this for another day. Luckily i returned to my first search spot and spotted the sneaky hide! Glad to have a smiley here, TFTC!
We are staying nearby in the caravan up a friends driveway. While they are doing family sport sat morning stuff we grabbed their dog and ours and wandered down to the dog park. On the way back I spied a cache in the area that could be an easy find. Was a lot harder than I thought it would be but eventually spied something that was not quite part of the natural habitat.Clever hide - TFTC
#23517. Pretty sure we've found a cache in these gardens before. When I got to GZ I spotted some objects I thought would be covering the cache. As I had a look at them I spotted something a bit different to what I was expecting. Nicely done! TFTC.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on a warm norwest day as we head to Methven via Rakaia Gorge and various caches.I foolishly followed SW to GZ, and of course he took the least optimal route, involving high terrain as well. At least he atoned by making a quick find of the nicely hidden cache. I think I may have struggled on my own. TFTC.
Found a likely location but nothing was there, A second look proved me wrong.
At the start of our big holiday we visited Methven. Our first Zealand cache! Thank you.
On a Week road trip to Nelson,Buller and Greymouth. lots of driving and walking, plus biking, lots of great caches many thank to all the CO"s - Bitsprayer
Not for me today and the weather has packed in. I spent a good 20-30 mins but didn't spot anything. Will be back.
19:31 FITW GreenMenaceToday is the Independence Day of Latvia, and we were out celebrating it in Methven of all places Before heading back to Chch, stopped for a wee cache. The garden of harmony looks quite nice although very dried out. Needs some sort of a water feature.Cache took quite a while to locate. I even touched it and dismissed it! Very sneaky and well crafted hide!FP for the effort!Kia ora! Paldies! +Fav!Thanks for the cache, Geomum007!#10017
Spotted the hiding place very quickly this time, and the first thing I touched held the container!! So a quickish sign and return. That must have taken some time to prepare, so well done. We found these gardens to be great place for caching ,but have never seen a local or volunteer here and this would be, over the years, our third visit.
A nice little spot with the blossom coming out on a lot of the trees. Got muggles by folks who knew a lot about geocaching - her mother caches so had a chat about it all. Cheers
We spent a wee while searching unsuccessfully, before checking the logs, and discovering the coordinates had been changed. Once in the correct location, the nicely crafted cache was a quick easy find and worth a favourite. TFTC
An unplanned stop, so no pen, apologies. Also, not used a photo as I to want to give the game away. Great little cache, some specialised tools required in its creation. Have a ‘fav point’.
Very clever hide so a favourite point from me. Had me scratching my head for a bit then noticed the cache and thought oh I see. Well done. TFTH
Another great day for a drive in the countryside. I did a nice loop from Rakaia to Methven and round to Ashburton, finding a few caches along the way. Nice one! Took me longer to find than it should have done. I almost discarded the cache before I realised what I'd found. TFTC, Biggles.
A reasonably quick find here. That must have taken a bit of work to make! TFTC.
Coordinates changed from:

Coordinates changed to:
S 43° 38.188 E 171° 38.708
Distance from original: 55.9 feet or 17.0 meters.
Changed the position of this cache to where it hopefully won't get muggled.

I was a little concerned after 2 experienced cachers couldn't find this one. I checked today and the area has be quite disturbed - and not by gardeners. I certainly hope it wasn't cachers! After an extensive search the cache could not be found, no idea why someone would want it! Disabling this until I can get another one created and back in place.
Second time in these gardens and probably 15 years apart!! However this time (and we came twice) we had no luck. Even knew what we had to look for, but still no cigar.
The cunning hide was to good for me. I spent way more than my regulation 10 mins seek time looking for this.
A very impressive cache container, not something you could whip up in 5 minutes, glad this was a quick find as the weather is getting very nippy; TFTC
The coordinates were spot on but Beeba and M both looked here and missed the cache. I looked again and saw what they had missed. We met up with Lytteltonwitch again and had another chat. A lovely garden even in the winter. Lots of camelia buds on the bushes ready to bloom soon.
A nice quick find. I've been to the Harmony garden a previous time, and it was good to come back. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I went for a drive to Ashvegas today, as there had been a few new caches published recently.
Occaisionally signed MK+KR on some of the caches today, and apologies for any generic logs.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.

A couple of young ladies in their unusual coloured coats watched us carefully over the fence. It took a bit of searching before our geo brain warmed up and then it was an easy find.
A Fav from us.
A Fav from us.
{ FTF} with coconuts3! Wonderful spot to explore and a very clever cache. Wish the weather hadn't been so miserable today.I would have liked to have looked at the whole area but it was pretty nippy and wet. Thanks geomum007 and a fav from me. Do some more!!
Out with busy paws exploring Methven. Got given an umbrella at cemetery which was very handy walking here. Joint {FTF} at 12.35pm. A gorgeous wee garden. Very clever hide so another fav from us. Thanks for the cache Geomum007.
