Logs
Fouries have found it. Thanks a nice one. We are all the way from Western Australia
We continued on our SideTracked caching trail today with ilook4geo. This was SideTracked find No. 242. It was a nice easy one to find by observing the new location. All is good with the container and log. Thanks go to n0w0rries for placing this cache and for adding to the SideTracked series as well.
Started off caching this morning with goingplaces2 but it was raining, so the going was slow. Our focus for the day was SideTracked caches and we were pleased to find some. Each one found had two more names added to its log before we headed off to the next one. This was a quick and easy find. TFTC.
Thanks Rod!I'm off to my nation's island.Hopefully I can find your cache there!
Stony point train departed as we cached. Bright sunny day and quiet not crowded as on weekends
SideTracked find 305I looked around a bit before spotting it, but once spotted, it was obvious. Cache and log are good. TFTC n0w0rries.
TFTC stayed in the caravan park at Stony Point so this was an easy short walk to the cache. Great hiding spot with an awesome view. Easy to find. Log needs to be replaced, no space left. Didn't have any paper with me to replace it.
Fathers day expedition with the kids. Not the best weather but still found a few. TFTC
A free Saturday afternoon meant it was time to do a little roadtrip. Today down here at Crib Point it's very quiet, a couple of pelicans on the water, a ferry coming in, no sound of the train. It was easy for us to walk in and sign the log. TYFTC!
Live local so I've been wanting to get this one for a while now. 3yo is home sick so I decided we will go for a drive. Jumped out & grabbed it in just a minute or two as I'm familiar with this type of container (making one myself currently!) Thanks for this one. Such a nice day to be out on the water - I'm very jealous! ????
While waiting for the ferry with my bushwalking mates I had time to venture over to pick this one up. Nice easy find. Cache in good condition. Thanks nOwOrries for the cache
Quick park and grab this morning, will need a new log as its full. I also returned the cache to a spot a little less exposed. Tftc!
Needing a wherigo today for a personal challenge and being such fantastic weather we decided to head to the Hastings area and try our luck at a few different cache typesWe are really enjoying these side tracked caches .and learning about different stations along the way. At least this wa sone we did know about but we stillleaarnt a bit more about it from the cache page. The cache took longer than expected to locate once the GPSr finally settled on one location, we made the find , happily added our name to the log book before returning everything as it was.Manty thanks n0w0rries for the cache.
Well, that took much longer than it should have. After traipsing about in circles looking in all the wrong places I finally spotted this one and added another SideTracked cache to my tally. TNLN. TFTC
Mrs Papi4506 was down here with OHC. Whilst Ms P was taking a photo of a train at the beach which is unusual for us, OHC made the find. Timing was very fine as the ferry had recently arrived and commuters were making their way from one transport to another. Thanks for placing the cache for all to find.
Not the best weather, but still an opportunity to get outside, targetting mainly drive-bys. Noticed another ST cache nearby, so a short diversion was made...Found it, signed and put back just in time as the ferry had just arrived, and the train was waiting. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, n0w0rries ~~
Had to do a boundary drive for work so tookthe opportunity to duck down here to find a cache. Nicely done! TFTC
Find number 13358 at 4:05:41PM on Monday the 6 May 2024Travelled over to French Island with gmj3191 for the day with our e-bikes in tow (thank heavens for that) to gather in the geocaches and check out the scenery. We have been planning this for some time now but have just been waiting for the right time and today was it, absolutely glorious Arrived at Stoney Point in time to catch the ferry at 7:50 in the morning, chilly but promising a beautiful day. Ended up travelling about 50 km for the day, arriving back in time to catch the 3:45 ferry back in the afternoon. One last cache before we head back home, twas a quick find today but a struggle to walk all that way over here from the carpark **Thanks for placing this cache n0w0rries**---The nominees for the [**2023 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards**](https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/2023-victorian-cache-of-the-year-awards) have now been announced.Find as many of these amazing caches as you can before voting opens later in the year. The full list of nominations is available on the [Geocaching Victoria website](https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/2023-victorian-cache-of-the-year-awards)
Find # 8,825 for me on 6 May 2024 at 4:04pm. Hopped off the ferry on our return to Stony Point and grabbed this one. Thanks n0w0rries, for giving back to the game. *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
A great hide in a high muggle area but found the guy blending in beautifully. TFTC
Stony point stony cache appropriate! Not often we get to the end of a quaint little line. Such is life. On another multi mission today. After a catch up further down the coast with fam and friends, I started the trip back to Melbs via a few geocaches of course. Rather enjoyed this location. Made the wander and spied the cache immediately. TFTC and the FUN!
After a day trip down the Stony Point Line, across Western Port Bay to Phillip Island on the ferry and then back again this was (thankfully!) a quick find on our return trip! TFTC
Found easily on a rather nice sunny Sunday, I knew what I was looking for straight away and found it as soon as I reached GZ. TFTC!
Nice to find this today after a couple dnfs. Also a nice view of the cruise ship at the island.
With a bit of time after work up my sleeve today, I decided to spend this lovely afternoon cleaning up some caches that had appeared in this awkward little nook of the peninsula that I don't often visit. It was good to see a new cache along this train line - there's definitely plenty of space for some more ST hides along this peculiar line!I took one of the very few remaining car parks beside gz and hoped a train didn't approach this station at high speed!Luckily I'd seemed to arrive between trains which meant I could hunt around at my leisure.I had a fair idea of what I was looking for and a few minutes later I spotted it from the right angle - very appropriate indeed! Thanks to n0w0rries for this nice hide!
Took the train out to the end of the line to have an explore. No problems with the cache once all the train muggles had all disappeared. It was definitely a day for it!
Mr nOwOrries you sure get around!Today the area was absolutely packed and there were no car parks. I was very tempted to catch a ferry to phillip island and experience a sea trip but it was too late in the day to get a return ferry back. Thanks for showing us the end of the line and a spot for a potential visit another time.
I headed out with KristyAdventures this afternoon for a trip around this area and we just went and searched for whatever we came across for a few hours. The weather was nice and cloudy most of the time and not too hot, just how I like it. Stopped for a late lunch in the Balnarring bakery which was very busy. This took a little while because as we arrived so did a ferry load of people and also the train was here and just about to leave. All good in the end, just a short delay. Thanks n0w0rries for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
Found by Bob at 1230Great coords made for a really quick find for me today. Thanks n0w0rries
Another day, another Sidetracked, after having a good chat with Brain about the Sidetracked series as a whole, I decided to pick up another nearby one. I practically grew up around stony point, with many fishing trip with my grandfather starting from this shore, after reminiscing for a little bit I made way to the cache. True to its name, the cache was found quickly and I was soon on my way.

Find 3192Down playing gold at Cerberus and had a bit of time to try this one.At GZ the gps took a while to settle. Decided to use geo senses and then something caught my eye.Log signed and back safe as found. Thanks for your cache.
We were in Flinders today for an event and took the opportunity to search for this cache not too far away. Stony Point is an interesting place. Maybe one day I will actually make it over to French Island from here. From the car park it was a short walk to the station where TanSaf soon discovered the cache. Thank you N0w0rries for another cache.
Attending an event in Flinders with Skylizard and taking opportunity to get a few caches down this way. Weather better than expected making a pleasant tour around the area. Great to locate another sidetracked cache to help work towards the next rank. A quick find. TFTC
There were a lot of cars but no people. It seemed a bit strange.Anyway, we found the cache and then the hint made sense. We checked out the pelicans and then we were on our way. Thanks n0w0rries for showing us this place and for putting this cache here.Chiefton!!!
