definitely well hidden but not for long. All good here, signed & replaced as found. Thanks for another one in this series.
Had a bit of time spare before needing to be in Palmerston North so what better to do than knock off a few easy caches? A quick find here - signed log, TFTC
Collecting these caches along Rongotea Road by bike, heading towards Kairanga picking up the ones on the left hand side of the road to start with (and that is most of them). This one took me longer than expected, I headed for the usual hint objects on this trail. Yes, there was a geotrail, and a generous hole where a cache might be placed but nothing there! On re-checking my navigation I found the correct object to inspect, and there it was! Neatly hidden - a favourite added for this one and for this series along Rongotear Road, thanks EC!
In the end a bit more straightforward than I assumed. Shows the benefit of not over thinking it. This looks like a very familiar location, maybe an unlogged DNF from long ago. Good to get a smiley on the map anyway. Thanks for the cache!
Maintenance visit with TwigNZ. I'm adding a DnF here too Cache replaced and all good here again
Its ANZAC day and father and I are up this way for the local event so we also decided to get 50 caches today so that I could be a step further towards my DGsc. A nice quick find here and off to the next one. TFTC
**taybee** is caching again with **taybee nz** Quick find here today on the way to **the call the troops** event All in good order, sign log book as **taybee (** *joint sign* **TB's** or **taybee / nz )** TFTC Cache was found at **25/04/2024 @ 09:41:00**
With Gap (of Fap and Gap) Today was about the numbers. Two handy trails provided an early, handy power jolt to our tallies**WoC Streak Star:** We regarded this particular challenge as being too difficult to complete. We managed to get the first souvenir and didnt bother to chase the rest - With not many local hides, we werent prepared to travel 100+ kilometres return to maintain a streak.Traffic was excessively heavy along Longburn Rongotea Road. Parking was problematic for us, especially as we encountered caches hidden on either side of this busy road. Nevertheless, most hides were in good order and straight forward finds. A black mint tin and an armed syringe nearby (Take care) Thanks Etherlord Clan. TFTC
todays mission was a couple of trails in the Manawatu.choose mostly direction to attack with caches mostly on our left side.seemed to work best with the better car parking on this side.no problem to locate caches and signTFTC
As a once in a lifetime holiday, this year we are traveling for 7 weeks to Vietnam, Bali, Australia and New Zealand. In Australia we meet Ellen Sch and MrVon sr and Ingsve to visit these last two countries, so here we cache together. We signed the log with N4. Now we have solved many caches so we have a large number of solved coordinates. But we are interested in all types of caches, so if you receive a log, it means that we have visited your cache. We haven't quite decided where we're going, but we'll probably let the weather decide for us. We want warmth because in Norway it is now freezing. We will stay for about 2 weeks in Australia and 2 weeks in New Zealand and we will end the trip with the Mega event in Adeleide on 29 February. So thank you very much to all of you who make it possible for us to travel around finding caches. On March 6, we set course for Norway again. There are extremely nice people everywhere and we are welcomed, we thank you very much. Thanks to our cache friends for good company on the trip.
A nice quick find. Thanks for placing your cache. Ms_KR and I are on the road again, up "North" to visit family an friends. Today was a bit of a cruise around Palmerston North, weather reasonable, good enough to get on my bike for a couple of hours caching!Occassionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs. Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.
Plenty of room to pull up here for a quick grab. With a trip up to Paihia between Xmas and new year we should make our goal to hit 5k finds by years end Thank you Etherlord Clan for placing this cache.Log signed as B&PFind number 4921
Thanks for your amazing cache. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches. Found with Fisha1288 Cheers, Cympull.
Small group of caching buddies drove down from Auckland for the long weekend, and headed for Palmerston North area. Sorry for the generic posts, but we had so many caches to find.Had a great time, with so many laughs. Thanks to all the Cache owners who placed the caches. All logs signed "SEAC" or "Team Seac"
A small group of us from Team SEAC consisting of Keylev, Stik-A-Crane, Uncle Sam and ourselves had come down from Auckland to spend the long weekend caching in the Manawatu area. The plan was to get as many as possible. Along the way we had some great adventures, many laughs, met some interesting people and found a wide selection of caches. Signed SEAC to save space on the log. TFTC.After a change of plans earlier in the day, we were not getting the numbers of caches we were hoping for so after a snack break we headed to this trail to build the numbers for the day. Nice quick finds for the whole trail.
This series is just what we needed to pick up speed and morale since we are trying to get good numbers this weekend.Day 2 of our caching trip to Palmerston North area with HeMaLuDy, UncleSamNZ, Keylev, and myself, signing in as SEAC or TEAM SEAC to save logbook space. A big thanks to all the CO's for cache placement and maintenance, making this trip the success that it was.TFTC.
Day #2 of the Team SEAC extra long weekend little road trip for Labour Weekend. Thanks for the cache.
**19,027**This is the last of the WOC Streak Star cache series left for us. Unfortunately it appears the cache is MIA and with the COs permission we have put in a replacement until he has the chance to check on it. Thank you for a fantastic series, we really do appreciate the efforts you have gone to to set this up and maintain it. TFTC
It was too lovely a day not to be out enjoying it so we decided it was a good time to do a few more of the WoC Streak Star series of caches. Most were straightforward, quick finds. It was a bit worrying in places trying to park off this very busy road, and we were always thankful where hides were near good places to park, as several were. We've been to a cache in this vicinity before. There was such good parking here that a truck and car were already parked there, so we had to wait a few minutes until they went on their way! We searched about a bit finding hint objects but actually the coordinates were pretty good at getting us to the right spot, where the cache was easy enough to spot. TFTC Etherlord Clan
Up early this morning to complete this power trail. Cycled 20 km to find 15 and thankfully no DNF today. Had to use a torch for the first lot as it was still dark but at least the rain has stopped. Couple of logs were damp but still signable. Thanks Etherlord for this series and all its smileys
Found a couple months ago but logging today. Road was busy with big trucks so it took some waiting to get a quiet moment to get out. Quickly found and log signed. Tftc
A HA ! I had a cache hidden here a few years ago , virtually the exact same place called Em's wind chime ! so it was the first place to go to and there the new cache was just sitting there waiting . . . . . . . At least here , there is a good pull over as the traffic moves pretty fast along this road , including the big trucks . It was an easy find and all was well with cache etc .
thank you for yet another cache completed on this series as today i am out on the road to locate three more of these for today ' s ' dot ' day . . . . . . .
A fav point for the placement of this cache at this spacial site - at least to me it is !

Logging all these finds as BCBIG (Barefoot Guru, Crystal Fairy, Bruzie, Info Ferret and GSEL).
Sorry for the generic log, but all bar one or two were quick roadside finds. Thanks for placing these and helping with this months WoC challenge. Walked from the previous cache to this one to get some leg exercise.

The others got some steps in walking from the previous cache, while I drove the electric waka. Quick find, signed as BCBIG, thanks Etherlord Clan!
#13,475. A team outing in Barefootguru's electric car to grab some caches before attending an event in Waikanae this afternoon. Five of us squashed in - myself, BFG, bruzie, Crystal Fairy and Infoferret. As attaching seatbelts proved a challenge in the back seat we took turns of one person getting out to find the cache while the others watched on. Surprised how quickly we got around the loop. Sorry for the generic log but I am sure you understand these things happen on powertrails. Signed the log with team name of BC BIG or similar. Thanks Etherlord Clan for hiding it here.
Nice series of caches and reason for woolwood9 & I to come up this way.
Mostly quick easy finds here but the odd one was difficult for parking on the surprisingly busy roads or required a little searching.
All logs signed: *tm/ww NZ*
*Thanks for the fun trail - good start to this month's Challenge!*

Enjoyable sunny day out with tmann421 collecting these caches.
Nice the drive around although the roads were quite busy despite avoiding what we thought would be the peak times.
Caches all in good condition.

I watched these caches come out (both via email alert and Facebook posts by the CO) but soon realized I wouldn't 'First To Find' them so instead asked Capperz if he wanted to leave them all and find them later in the month - knowing he was overseas and also watching so many opportunities out of reach as a power trail grew.
After a check of our calendars this afternoon was chosen as the most opportune for both of us and a vague plan was formed.
This was a great trail with almost all caches being quick finds with good parking.

I'd watched these new listings pop out on a daily basis over the days of the last challenge, but was otherwise engaged in Northern Queensland living in a tent for just over 5 weeks for work reasons. I'd also discussed with tommygun9 about a sports afternoon visit at some point and decided my August find stats could do with a boost towards 4 figures and have made some inroads this month towards that target. So today we left base just after 3PM and had the (almost) loop completed just about 80 minutes later. tg9 drove and advised the hint(s) and I did the in/out/find/sign combo (mostly).
I took no notes around cache specifics but did appreciate the; variety of containers, similarity of some hints (welcome to the pleasuredome and don't dial and dig being the faves), alongside parking, straightness of the roads, and the quantity. Apologies Thomas for the repetitive logs but do know I appreciated each and every one of the 35 finds.
Cheers, and you've moved into my top 40 cache finds by owner stats

So after lunch it stopped raining so I thought I quickly do some of the this trail, pulled over and put the old gumboots on, tftc Etherlord Clan
A very warm sunny winter's day today, always an encouragement to get out of the house and do some caching. So Talla64 and I set off from Kapiti to do this CO's WoC Streak Star power trail. We had no problems with any of the caches, all were in good order and were quickly found. In some there were lots of goodies to swap - great to keep the geokids interested. The paper logs were signed either FD/T64 or F/Daze Talla64 to save time and space on the logsheet. We had a most enjoyable day, but were surprised how very busy these roads were. We had taken the precaution of wearing our gumboots in case the grass was wet, and we were pleased we had done so, some areas were quite muddy. Sorry about the cut and paste logs. Thanks very much for setting up the power trail Etherlord Clan.
On a short trip to Palmy to find the power trail, WoC Streak Star. Not as a challenge but just for the fun of it. It might look like a country road but it was seriously busy with some very big trucks thundering past. Other than that it was a glorious day for winter and we enjoyed it. Some logs abbreviated to save space, F/D and T64 or similar. Thanks for the power trail Etherlord Clan.
I was aiming to find as many caches on the day as possible and managed 62 plus some ALs. I really enjoyed every single one, and apologies for the generic log. TFTC!!
South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - MEGA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!

We are enjoying the variety of hides and containers that we are finding on this power trail thank Etherlord Clan. It's no small task setting up something like this, so it is very much appreciated. Well hidden indeed. TFTC # 20,086
Enjoyable trail, the roads were busy but that didnt create any issues. Sorry for the cut and paste logs. Thanks for the caches Etherlord Clan

I headed up to Palmy today to do the "Streak Star" power trail. I started on Day 12, found all 35 and finished on Day 20. Not sure how that works in this day and age, but it did. Thanks for setting the trail up. Cheers and TFTC
Yes, that's right! this is a power trail!!
I headed up to Palmy to do some cache maintenance and catch up with some friends. Thought I would tackle this series, and decided first thing in the morning is best. I got most done yesterday morning (before dawn, actually) and now tackling the rest (after dawn - I slept in!)
I like this series. Lots of variety, in cache hides and in cache containers.
And three caches now back in operation!

A complicated and convoluted series of events at work resulted in me being in Palmy on a Friday afternoon with a work ute and 2 hours of available daylight left in the day. It would seem like a shame to waste the chance to kick my August caching off
A power trail seemed like a really good way to use the time, especially as I would be seeing the CO this evening. There were 28 of these still available for me, and by now about 90 minutes of light left. I wasn't sure I would get them all (even though I did in the end) but started furthest away from the CO's house and just worked my way along the trail.
I apologise for the cut 'n' paste logging, but all caches were found in good to reasonable condition. A few had a bit of water inside from previous finders not ensuring the containers are replaced upright, but that didn't really affect anything. Surprisingly, some of the older logs will need replacing soon as they are getting a bit full, but no immediate issue there.
Another of those "I've been here before" moments. Thanks for setting these up mate

11th of the day and this one definitely has the best parking. Another quick find. If only HK had power trails like this! TFTC.
Apologies for logging this 2 weeks after I found it and apologies for a generic log.
I really do like a good power trail, even if it isn’t completed yet. We’ve made a team name, 4W for ’Four Wellingtonians’, although sometimes it was written as W4 or our individual names were added to the log.
Out and about caching with Itchyfeet2020, JustlookingOO and matagouri for a fun day caching in and around Palmerston North to cache and to visit friends at a board gaming day.
I am using this cache for the Fast to Find module of the GC30AD8 DGSC Challenge (West Coast).
Kia ora rawa atu for the cache Etherlord Clan.

On a road trip today with NZ_B, matagouri and Justlooking00. Team name 4W for Four Wellingtonians. A great day to be out caching. There was just to many exciting new caches along here to not come here first. Found by matagouri. A great series Etherlord, thank you.
Up from Welly to attend a Scout Fundraising event, was out and about with Itchyfeet2020, Matagouri and NZ_B (our driver). Decided to do this quick-fire WoC series up to its latest release #13. Signed log as '4W' (aka four Wellingtonian's). We worked our way methodically north grabbing those that had been recently released. Matagouri quickly found, but he let two remaining continue looking with heads in bushes, lol.
Thx for the series Etherlord clan

After a brief visit to palmy I had limited time so I made the dash to grab these caches, appreciate the effort to place a great amount finds I made today, even bumped into another group doing them and was able to have a quick chat before carrying on and still managed to make it back for a walk with dad, thanks for the placement.
Out caching with Itchyfeet2020, Just_looking00, and NZ_B. This series gave us a number of quick finds along a (reasonably) quiet road. Signed as 4W. Thanks to Etherlord Clan for putting the series out. Tftc!
It's day twelve of this months Wheel of Challenges challenge, the streak, and what a day it has been. I got up at ridiculous o'clock and cached my way up to Palmerston North with very careful planning to make my arrival time coincide with the earliest of the possible publish times of a daily series that is appearing there (as it happened, todays one appeared an hour later than I was hoping). I then drove around Palmerston and almost half the way back to Wellington as I chased down a variety of caches that were on my todo list. This was one of them.
This cache was part of the daily series. Having arrived here an hour earlier than I actually needed to gave me just enough time to find all the previous ones in this series. All were found safe an well (although one was in front of/behind a ditch that had water in it and gave me wet shoes), and one was a surprise size, that I have used to give the Favourite Point too cos I cant afford to give a favourite to every one in the series even though the effort of doing this series for this months challenge deserves that.
---
Thanks to Etherlord Clan for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with CO's like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.
[DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.

Missed all theses caches due to my notifier was going to spam! And now can’t get hard streak
Most of the the powerlines round here are sparking and we came at night so was visible! Makes a pleasant sound!
Quick find here
I wrote in the log and placed the cache back as found. TFTCSL, Thanks Etherlord Clan for this Traditional cache.
