Yay ... I believe today is International Geocaching Day!So even though I am visiting Family in Christchurch, I needed to find a geocache today!Luckily, this one is only a very short walk from my brother's place .I didn't let myself get distracted by books!I soon found and signed the small container.I am sure I have been in this spot many years ago for a cache!Shame there wasn't a Geocaching Event while I am down here! Many thanks for this handy cache!
After watching my son's football game not too far from here, I had time to find a couple of caches before heading for home. This was the first one I came to. Took me a while to interpret the description correctly but once I did and then trusted my GPS, the cache was quickly found. TFTC, Biggles.
I am staying in Christchurch with a That Darn Bear for an extra long long weekend. But her family are NOT morning people, so after the three S's and some breakfast and still no sign from the rest of the household I grabbed the keys and headed out the door. Eventually I came back and found they had at last risen, so the bear and I headed out to do some adlabs and whatever else we met along the way.Love this book fridge. Bus stop. Thingy. Three fridges for the price of one! Although the fridges were not fully stocked, but still, pretty cool.I did notice that this little library is missing off the map, so I have made a note to add it when I get home.
The Seagnoid has come to stay for a long weekend and have some caching adventures. Today we ventured out to find a heap of Ad Labs, and a few others along the way. Thanks for the cache.
Ha, spent too long looking the book shelves.... Should have followed the GPS instead, so I did and there it was. Doh. Cheers
Replaced logbook with new one, and removed swag which was Taking too much space inside cache. All good here.
After a dnf on [What comes first?](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCA5PZ4) a decision was made to at least collect this cache on the way home for another challenge we are working on. Fortunately, it did not prove too difficult. TFTC!
How cool is this! FP for bringing me here. I didnt know this community library existed. This one and the one out towards Leeston are the best Ive come across. Cache is in good order. I was able to spot it from the road though. I added a few sticks to obscure it. Hopefully it stays safe.
Day 5 of my trip away with tmann421.Headed out this morning to do some Ad Labs as it was to wet and miserable to do anything else.Weather cleared a little in the afternoon so we managed to get a few caches doneSigned all logs tm/ww NZThanks to all the cache owners for the time and effort put into their hides.
Down in the Christchurch area with woolwood9. Day 5 - Heavy rain ruined our plans for quite a bit of the day, we went to morning movie at the Tannery. However we did do some Ad. Lab. stages and were able to hunt some caches later in the day.SL *tm/ww NZ*Thank you for the reason to visit this cache and location *Good find here.*
Having a lovely morning out with busy paws geocaching. Treat morning tea at farmers market plus some caches equals awesome day. Thanks for this cache qwertyuiopasdggjjk66.
A morning geocaching with coconuts3. Both of us turning some blues into yellows. After a no find a few weeks ago, I got home and it dawned on me about the log story and hint. Clever!! Happy to lay our hands on this today. TFTC
Nice quick find here thanks. Great to fill in another dot day, not many left now and my calendar will be full. Really appreciate some newer caches in the area to help me finish - thanks!
Slight detour from an Adventure lab I was working on. Photo of log taken as pen would not write; TFTC
I stopped off here this morning on my way to do a few errands as it's not far from home. Took me a while to figure out the animal reference but after finding it and thinking for a while I figured it out Nice wee spot. TFTC
I have a day off today so I decided to go out and find this geocache . Unfortunately grocery shopping and work prep were on the to do list so I only found this hide. Thanks for replacing the missing container qwertyuiopasdfghjk66.
A surprise to see this pop up again so close to another cacher's house. And he hasn't signed it yet! Hope your original book one comes back! Thanks for the hide. Like the new description!

Made a quick find here and had worked out what one of the clues meant so that helped also. I had a quick look in the library but didn’t take anything today. TFTH
I had a DNF on my earlier visit, due to the logbook having been borrowed by an avid reader. Have to wonder what he/she made of it when they got home? Once a new cache had been put in place a short distance away I was keen to make another attempt. So I stopped by at the start of today's MTB ride up Rapaki Track and along the Summit Road to Evans Pass and back. A nice quick find at the new coordinates. Thanks for the cache.
Back again and a heads up which made so much sense. Re-read the initial explanation and was surprised at how accurate it was!! The find was not that difficult so all I could say was "Duh!' Thank you q..6

One of the cleverer hints I have seen lately!
Found without trouble.
I'm not quite sure what a Plmh is. Public Library Mini House?
Kia ora! Paldies!
Thanks for the cache, qwertyuiopasdfghjk66!

Third time success. The answer is trust the Garmin not what we think it might be. TFTC
Ah, new coordinates. That explains something. I may have been provided a pointer or two. Found on my evening walk from home.
While we were there looking everywhere except high and very low, we were interrupted by a person loading the shelves and by folk walking by. Very public!!! Flicked through a heap of possibilities, but no cigar.
Only a couple of hundred books. Micro and a no hint hint. Can't say I like that style of play.
Nice to turn this frown upside down.
CO messaged yesterday to say that he'd replaced the cache and reenabled it...but i was on the other side of town at sons football practice. Yay for Rincewind3 for avenging the ftf....
A busy day today but managed to duck out in the evening to make the find and sign at a quiet gz. Checked the book fridges for the original but no such luck. Lots of new books. I wonder if they swap books around the different book fridges to keep the contents "fresh"...maybe the original cache is lurking in another nearby fridge?
Thanks for the replacement!

{FTF}! Not sure if I was here early enough for the FTF last time or if BaldEd had been and gone, but i gave it a good nudge. Although it's a shame it was muggled before it was found I was kind of relieved to know it wasn't just me.
Tonight I saw the updates on this as I left work in Burnside. With fingers crossed I headed across town in 5 o'clock traffic. I usually do shift work so am not used to that carnage!
As I approached the GZ I refreshed again and still no logs. At GZ I saw something pretty geocache-y looking and was rewarded with an American grazing animal and a blank log. Phew!
After signing the log (at 5.25pm) and returning the cache I checked out the fridges in the hopes the original cache might have returned but no joy yet. ??

(Logs signed Rincewind3 or R3 if saving space. Occasionally signed BRN if caching as a team with *B*o&bronnie, *R*incewind3 and *N*otManlyJack)

I spent way more than my regulation 10 mins searching for this one, but then I was perusing the offerings in the library most of that time. Finally selected a book to read and then departed the scene.
No logs when i headed out, must have just missed the R3 party. Had gz to myself...and came up with nothing. Then CO arrived and quickly confirmed the whole, obvious cache was awol......weird. oh well. Nice to met the co and have a bit of a chat (well, as good as i could with my croaky lost my voice)...
Arrived on the way home from work. No logs so I read the hint and started hunting. I thought I'd given it a good go and had decided to head home when another cacher arrived for a look so I stayed a bit longer. Still nothing applying both the hint and our assumption regarding the cache name. Also expanded the hunt to the wider environs without luck. I just live over the hill so I'll be watching this one with interest.
### Those silly muggles! ###
Some person must’ve taken it like it was a real book! If it’s returned we’ll re activate it otherwise will think of something else.
