Out with iluvtrekking on a very gusty arvo in Jurien. Collected the info and headed to gz to make the find. Thanks cravo10's
Instead of flying directly from Melbourne to Geraldton for a memorial service, CrackerDad of Team Crackers drove down to pick me up from Perth so I could target some Western Australian LGAs and Challenge Caches (most of these are aspirational for me at this stage!!). We stayed last night in Lancelin and were picking up a few caches aiming to get into Geraldton by late afternoon. I thought I knew what would be required for this one, once we located the cache. I agree with Team Crackers you don't mess around placing caches for international geocaching day! We followed the arrow to GZ and my hunch was correct and our names soon added to the log. After replacing we headed to the bakery to grab some lunch. Thanks cravo10 for the cache. A favourite point from me.
I picked up Cracker Girl up from the airport to head up to Geraldton for a mates memorial. Cracker girl had made a list of caches she wanted to get as many LGA's as possible in the short time we had.She was also targeting caches with favorite points to make it more interesting. As we have said we really hope to be at the next international Geocaching day in WA you guys sure put the effort in.We were not sure where a cache would be hidden around here but after we flowed the GPS we spotted it as we approached. Took a minute or three to get to the log bok though. But we can say our names have been added to the log and every thing returned as foundMany thanks again cravo 10 for the nice hide adding another favorite point
Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi.Heading to Perth for a wedding, and making a small detour to areas in WA where we had not previously visited. When planning this trip back a few months ago, before we left SA, I had a look at this cache and quickly decided what I would try to open the cache.Today we arrived in Jurien Bay, and after setting up the van, went for a wander to the local shoping centre. B went into a dress shop and I headed to this cache. Put in the numbers that I had determined, and the cache opened, log extracted and signed, and then replaced as found. Back to the dress shop just a B was walking out. Great start to our stay in Jurien BayGratias Pro Cache cravo10
Finally we got a quiet time to sneak a shot at the cache. Tfth*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
I had worked this out a long time ago and nearly drove past it but then remembered. Cache was as I expected. Thanks for the quick find.
On our Australian trip . After started for some days in Darwin we are on the road to Perth now .On the Road after Katherine we have seen Edith Falls, Kunnurra and Bungles Bungle. Finally we cross the Pentecost-river to enter the Gibb RiverRoad . A lot to see like Emma Falls, El Questro, Mitchel Falls, Manning Gorge, Galvans Gorge, Bell Gorge, Tunnel Creek and Windjana Gorge .Now return on the sealed road again . Further over Derby, Broome, Port Hedland, Karratha, a sidekick to Karijini NP, Exmouth, Coral Bay, Carnarvan, Geraldton, Ellendale Pool and now down the coast to Perth .Nice overnight at the Lake Indoon Pool but the heavy rain was not so comfortable . Ups.. when we arrived the lock was open . We then figured the right code ouz and could close it in a right way .Of course we also have logged .TFTC# 17'410
Found at 3:20 PM GAFF1.While c-pprass did some shopping, I went over to do this cache armed with the code that I worked out just a few minutes before. Spotted the IPS cache and entered the code, but nothing happened! Tried a couple of other options, but same result. Went back to my original idea and then the whole thing just opened up! Ah - so it opens up that way does it [:o)]Thanks to cravo10
Solved on the way into town.. and that's what we call a great puzzle. Found the cache quickly, another excellent feature of the cache. And put the code in.... Nothing. So we did it more.. we both tried. We could have hit our heads on a post when we finally got the log. Well done, an excellent cache, thanks cravo10.
Knew that we were stopping at the IGA in Jurien for a few supplies before heading to a rest stop for the night and saw this nice easy puzzle on the way into town right near the IGA. I had an idea of what the code was going to be so while pazza parked the car and caravan saz made a sneaky beeline for the cache. Getting it open was a little tricky and I started to doubt my clever idea but soon had the log in hand.....getting it closed again was alot tougher.Love a cache right in the open and now we have this LGA ticked off (and pazza was none the wiser )Apologies for the late log but dated as per found date.Thank you cravo10 for placing and maintaining Jurien Bay - Post for us and others to find and enjoy.....fave point for a nice easy puzzle and a great cache
Attempted to do this the previous day but couldn't crack the code. After a light bulb moment whilst walking past the post office to the IGA, tried what I thought was the code and abracadabra, the lock opened. Found with Panda Dundee. TFTC
Haha, I tried every combo under the sun with no luck. Walked away, frustrated by this vessel! Walked past later on and had a light bulb moment! Came back with Minergal the next. Good birthday cache for her! Woo Hoo! TFTC!

mudnCraig and his dad went fishing for a day and I wanted to do geocaching because there are so many new ones in Jurien after the event. Will see how many I get. Figured out the code but couldn't figure it out how to open it. Luckily mudnCraig came back from fishing and showed me how to open it. I felt a bit stupid after seeing him opening it tftc!

The day started early packing the kids and the car up and heading to Cottesloe for a run around before hitting the road for Jurien Bay.
We made a couple of stops along the way but we’re mainly focussed on getting to the IGD event.
After having a feed and a chat we targeted some different cache types around town before turning for home stopping by Carabooda to grab a golden oldie.
By the time we got in the door tonight we had totalled 600km, 12 hours, 12 finds, 5 adventure labs, 1 event attended and 0 DNF’s.

Hitting the road for IGD2023 in Jurien Bay. Looking forward to a great weekend! I’ve only been to Jurien Bay once in my life, and that was for a lunch stop on the way to Geraldton, so it will be good to spend some time in town. Naturally the drive up and back were caching missions in their own right, with the objective to clean up the new placements. Plenty of new and old caches in town too, that I am yet to have touched up in my last trip. This cache was one of this weekend’s many stops. Cheers cravo10!
After being involved in the placement of this hide I shall now claim a find. Thanks for the cache.
