Exploring the area on a day trip. Thanks for the easy find. All in good condition.TFTC
Family is away for the first week of the school holidays and so I have a plan to go caching. First goal is to make 7000 caches and hoping to crack 180 in a day on Monday. Today I headed west with the geohound - starting on 821 caches for the year (250 AdLabs!) and hoping to crack 50 in various LGAs for the day. It also happens to be AFl Grand Final day so listening to the Swans and the Lions as well. I have been to this reserve before so knew where the access was. Parked and realised his close this cache was. A wrought of walkers came past but easily signed and returned.TFTC Merlectro
Well we didnt know you could drive down here until we started walking. But nice quick find! Our 1st cache in Mulwala! All in good order.
Tftc, Lou and Paul from the Blue Mountains NSW. Travelling with Savannah. Cache in good order.
Enjoying the great winter sunshine today, this was another well hidden cache in the reserve. Thanks Merlectro for the cache.
This was a nice easy find but I had to hurry to put the cache back before some walkers got out of their car
#5519 Enjoyed an outing with the geohounds today. A walk around this park to collect a cache or 4 on this cracking Autumn day was very enjoyable. A nice quick find here to get us underway.
Grabbed on a family walk. This walk had much complaining so we were grateful for a quick grab. Found with Mrs Mochila. Cache in excellent condition. TFTC.
TFTC, SL. This was my second search for this one and I finally found it! I'm no fool today! #Aprilfoolsday
I was again distracted by the hint, but soon made the last find back where I parked. TFTC.
Nice quick find, on very warm afternoon, there was no muggles around, its very dry around here will be back early tomorrow morning to collect the others TFTC
Found nice and easily. Liahona pathtag inside but I left it for next person as I am already carrying 2 Trackables. We used to bring our dogs here for a run but dogs now gone doggy heaven, and weve moved from area however it was nice to see a few new GCs for me to find and log. Also nice to bring my Unicorn TB4W434 to another beachy/waterside area on the Murray River. TFTC
Took longer than it should have! Lol. Found and left a pathtag. TFTC and this set of caches in the park. Nice walk in the sun. SL at 10:10am.
Continuing on finding a few other newish caches in Mulwala and chose a wander around Gorman Park area. A quick find here and SL at 9.32am, now to continue our walk. #10,409 TFTC Merlectro
This was my 3rd day in NSW but hadn't had a find in said state. With a bit of time on my hands today though, I decided to see if I could rectify that issue. Once at GZ, it took a moment or two before I finally had the stash in hand right on noon.TNLNSL, although our geocaching licence geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Merlectro.
I was staying in Yarrawonga for a couple of days and I decided to see if there were any geocaches around. TFTC great spot.
I was out on this sunny morning doing a bit of cache maintenance, and I decided to whizz over here on the way back for a bit of a stroll.Fortunately it was nice and quiet here when I rocked up to GZ so I could make the quick find and sign before anymore cycling families turned up.
Out caching with Byker152 today and after our recent FTF we were keen to complete a few more. This series has appeared since my last visit to Mulwala. A nice little walk and all caches were found in good order. TFTC!
Out and about today exploring the area with Geowife and Geodogs. All good here. Looks sensational. Now onto the next one for the day. TFTC
Love finding hidden gems we wouldn’t have explored without the geocaching community.
Easy find nice view whilst writing this post.

{FTF} @7:01am.
Having seen this series pop up last night, I decided I would get up around 5am-ish so I could try and find this at first light around 7am. First thing I did when I woke was check to see if they had been found, and fortunately for me, they hadn’t, so I got in my ute for the trek up. Now not being from the area, I wasn’t 100% sure how close to Gorman Park I could park, check the Vic side of the Weir first, and thought I might get closer on the NSW side….and I did, was going to park at the Golf Club….but found the track into Gorman Park carpark….and this cache was about 30m from where I parked…happy days. Anyway….quick find, and onto the next. TFTC Merlectro
