Logs
Found it, but it looked like pine tar or similar over the inside of the cache, so didn't sign. Thanks for the cache, great tree, nice spot!
Found with nissan65 on a caching trip to collect a few more of the local caches. Thankyou for your contribution to geo caching . Replaced log as wet and unsignable
Quick find ty. Log sheet worse for wear - wet inside and dripping brown liquid.
Find#2285Myself and Shaneo58 have come up from the Hunter and Newcastle area to find some tree climbing caches and caches. This was one that we targeted. Quickly found it, signed the log and replaced. TFTC
Found with SusanDW. After attending the nearby event we decided to pick up a few more caches. Found this easily enough, these trees have soooo many hiding places. Log signed BG&SDW to save space. TFTC
TFTC - I nearly didn't stop thinking GZ was on private property. Magnificent is all I can say and clever cache container. Log signed as BG & SDW .
Thanks I found it but it was very small and I couldnt trade anything in it cause there was wires in it and it was very sticky and had bugs all over it
Had to be a quick one as the rain settling in. Lucky it was a great big tree and we didnt get too wet. TFTC
In the Eastern states visiting some of the muggle Mrs. relatives we made our way to Port Macquarie for a 6 night stopover. A few finds made on the way from Brisbane and hopefully a few more can be found whilst we are here. All caches were is good condition unless stated otherwise. This one took longer than it should, the hint made sense but no appropriate location was seen until a game of round and round the Fig was played. The hide was then easily noticed, signed and replaced.Thank you for the cache Portstevo Find Number 10751 on 24/04/2024
A quick find this morning, after taking Frankie on her walk. I wonder if the swing is there for public use or belongs to the adjacent house? Frankie decided there was no time for swinging, so the logbook was signed and off we went TFTC
This cache took me to a nice looking part of the port, with lots of great looking houses. Didn't have a pen but I will attach a photo to prove I found it
What a cool find! Walking distance from our resort! We didnt have a pen so used a stick Team AAE.
TFTC and a nice quick find. A favourite from me for the beautiful fig tree and the cache.pot geocaching with my daughter BellbirdDarl.
Out for a quick big ride and decided to stop by this cache. Lovely setting and an interesting hide.We were trying to avoid too many hills on this ride, but the cache brought is to the bottom of a pretty steep section. Unfortunately, Dad blew out a thing attempting to make it up, which brought the whole procession to a halt halfway up. Serves him right for using dodgy footwear. Thanks for the cache!
Found with Short_Tea and Subie girl, a quick Boxing Day adventure! Lucky the tree shelters us from the rain! Another storm out of nowhere! TFTC!
Came here with reinforcements today also -a bit of height does wonders!! A chat with CO at yesterdays event helped too. TFTC.
tftc - easy find found with ashoeii and team trashy no pen sadly so took photo of log
That was fun! Loved the hint! Glad I had someone with young legs to do the climbing
Hubby had gone off to play golf so as I drove to town I stopped here to locate the cache.I had to step up onto the butt of the tree to be able to reach the cache. I had taken a TB to leave behind but the container was too small for it.As I walked away from GZ a car pulled into the house, so glad I was not caught up the tree.Well done Portstevo a very nice hide for your 1st cache.
Portstevo's first hide!! I brought geoniece and geonephew to climb and grab this one. So glad you managed to find the right cache for this spot! Was fun creating this cache with you Portstevo, I look forward to hiding and finding many more with you xx
Welp for shorties like me, this was a bit of a tree climb Haha Always loved this tree when we would drive past, wishing we had one in our yard to have a swing and tree house in. TFTC
Saw this published late yesterday and being the FTF hounds that we are, were tempted for a late night find, but decided to give a newer cacher an opportunity to snap it up. Fast-forward to today and we saw that it had been found, but not by a newer cacher as we had hoped
Managed to park almost right next to the tree, which we must say, is quite majestic, have never noticed it on previous drives through this area. Plenty of nooks and crannies to search though, but soon caught a glimpse of something of interest. Very nicely themed for your first hide, fav point given.
Thanks for the cache

Found at 11:22 AM GAFF1.
A new cache from a new geocacher in PMQ and the cache is just 2.2kms away from home - and it's been published for a day and no one has found it
So as I was going out to get some keys cut, I made a slight detour to see what sort of a cache hide has a "Tree climbing" attribute with just a Terrain rating of 2.0! Spotted the tree which I had already assumed would be the tree from the cache name and thought that there was no way it was going to be a tree climb and so started to rummage around and - voila - a nicely themed cache container was discovered
An FP for a first cache and with excellent co-ords.
Thanks Portstevo.
Feedback: The "Tree climbing" attribute is not quite applicable in this case.
