*Found on the 23 Jan 2024 @ 4:49pm.**Cache find # 15491.* I was a little early for on appointment very close to this one so I decided to have a look to see if I could find this one.I worked on the numbers and headed over to GZ and after a short search I spotted and signed the log but I didnt find the container for the log, as I am on crutches at the moment, I didnt have a real good search but I did have a bit of a look around. After the log was signed, I placed it in a crack in the closest post to where the log was found.**Thanks to fisherfamfive for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**

23-Jan-24
Will be disabling this one until we can have a proper look at GZ and see whether we can muster up another hiding spot as this cache is starting to become problematic.

A quick find this time on a very rainy day in Melbourne - in my previous attempt it was sadly muggled. I am meant to be at the Knox carols in an hour or so and the rain still pours. tftc

After attending [sharkiefan's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=34aa4c48-9615-4751-ae99-44e63866e71c&wid=b1956b8b-dd9d-436c-a048-90a8c18e5359&ds=2) [SirJ-OZ Memorial un-Puzzling Evening (4) (GCAF6FK)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCAF6FK?luid=ff22c660-c445-448b-8e9e-2a07c4590589) event in the city, I was driving back home when I remembered I still needed to find a multi cache in order to fill a missing calendar date for [ahombug's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=1ded3729-fe62-40bb-9f5f-fd559e7163b1&wid=6dbc178e-cf55-4705-a97f-435a7b7e6997&ds=2) [WCW - 50% Multi Calendar Challenge (GC9Z58Z)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9Z58Z).Well by the time I got back home the sun had set, and I was nervous that it was getting to late. However, I started looking for my nearest unfound multi caches when I spotted this one. I remembered looking for this one on a previous trip, but I wasn't able to find it.So when I saw that the [CO](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=fb812a6d-238c-46ca-9cc3-bf89fb1c6666&wid=2530e8fd-82c2-4a47-b8c0-64e4442ad263&ds=2) had [recently replaced this cache](https://www.geocaching.com/live/log/GL1B4M92W) I decided to give it another shot tonight. Since I had already calculated the coordinates for GZ on a previous trip, I was able to bypass solving the multi tonight and head straight to GZ. Luckily for me that the cache was a quick find once I arrived at GZ.A big thanks goes to [fisherfamfive](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=fb812a6d-238c-46ca-9cc3-bf89fb1c6666&wid=2530e8fd-82c2-4a47-b8c0-64e4442ad263&ds=2) for bringing me back out here to this beautiful lookout. I was treated to an amazing view tonight. TFTC.**Cache Maintenance Status**The cache container was in great shape. The attachment mechanism still seemed strong and the logbook was pristine, clean and dry with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.

We found this cache today on a quick afternoon 3 cache jaunt from home. One of my favourite places in the area and it was one place that was on a shortlist when we were laying out our 13th cache series back in 2004. We eventually decided against it for lack of suitable hiding places at the time. This is the 3rd Incarnation of this cache that we have found here - The Belmont lookout tower by Meerkat27 in 2010The Belmont lookout by Kozicka in 2021 and nowThe Belmont Avenue Lookout Tower by fisherfamfive in 2023(All interestingly the same name each time with one or two extra words)The tower itself remains closed and not looking like it is going to open again anytime soon, just as it has been on every visit, which is a pityThanks from D & H B-A

Out with fisherfamfive tonight on a maintenance run for this very multi, and after Cooper fixed this one up (I wasnt watching, I stayed in the car), it was time for me to finally check this one off the map. I was able to easily figure out the coordinates and after a short walk I had the well-hidden cache in hand. TFTC fisherfamfive

This tower is in the back streets above where we live and I often walk past here thinking, "I must put a cache back in this location . . ." Well you snooze and you lose! Great job in putting this multi together. I took a punt and searched before I did the calculations and came up empty-handed. I did the calcs and ended back at the same spot and found it this time! I really do hope they open this tower up again one day. (I know the local teenagers would appreciate not having to jump the fence - or so I've heard.)

It’s always good to meet another geocacher in the wild. Today I had just gathered the information for the coords and had started to search when I was joined by AdamWickenton and he made the find. Thanks fisherfamfive for placing the cache

Somehow managed to get the completely wrong coordinates, but eventually once I got back I met a really nice lady looking for the same cache TFTC Smile

I made the trip to Upwey to do the SideTracked multi, and after completing it, I noticed this new cache on my map. It was not too late to make a trip up the hill to gather the information. I was hoping that GZ was not a million miles away, as Upwey is a long way from home and the light was starting to fade. I was in luck and the cheeky cache was found after a bit of a hunt. Then it was back to the station, onto the train and home after a great day's caching.

Out on a walk with my beautiful daughter to find this new cache this afternoon. A nice quick decoding before making the quick find. I feel like it was just yesterday that I found a cache in this exact same spot, but it was probably a long time ago now! Tftc!

Date: August 25, 2023 Time: 6:07 PMFind #14135 {FTF}Joint FTF with iTEEMHeaded home after work and noticed this one was still unfound so decided to head up the hill to see if I could turn it into a smiley. Arrived at listed coords, quickly spotting iTEEM about to leave for an appointment. He waited to see if we both worked out final coords the same and we did, so both headed for GZ where the cache was quickly located.Massive thanks go to fisherfamfive for placing this one. ??
