After a number of unsuccessful attempts to get parking within reasonable walking distance, we managed to find one this morning. After the walk to GZ, accurate coordinates and a familiar style of hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Memphis and Friends for the cache and the series. Only one to go now.

6 months ago, during a frenzy, we said to ourselves "why not going to the mega in Adelaide for the leapday". From scratch we moved on to preparing an 18-day project in Australia. Our objectives are simple, visit a small part of this immense continent while validating a few caches. There are so many caches (impossible to do everything) that we will select. Our plan will allow us to visit Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Mount Gambier and finish in Adelaide for the famous Mega.During our stay we will log PestiHoot for Pestinette and Blackhoot.During our 5 days in Adlade, we visited the centre and around while following the caches and labs. We resolved some mysteries before our trip. We made some great discoveries and great experiences. Thanks to the caches we visited many sites evoking Australian culture and history. Thanks for the cache and the discovery of beautiful or original spots

Fastest find in the series so far, as close to instantaneous as you can get. Not only did I correctly guess where it would be, but started at precisely the correct spot. Traffic was light at this time of the evening, and to boot the nearby camera has been hooded. Im confident that I got in and out unobserved. Thanks for the cache and the series Memphis & Friends.

Claiming beta status on this awesome series. Gone in 60 seconds.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. I am slowly ticking off this series and today I made my way around finding them, all in good order for the ones I found. This morning after a breakfast event in north Adelaide I decided to head out to find some caches around the city before being in the western suburbs finding some caches that were newly published. Thanks for the cache

16-Oct-23
Found during an afternoon of caching targeting the western suburbs and along the Lefevre Peninsula, that included a range of quick drive-by grabs, a series of multis involving a pleasant walk alongside the dunes and a number of puzzle caches with a sprinkling of pole retrievals. This was the first find for the day. Tried 7 caches of the "Gone in 60 Seconds Series". Hello Agelina, Susan, Megan, Tracy, Rachel, Jessica, Sharon.
Found this cache, signed the log book, re-hid the cache, within 60 seconds.
Thanks for the "Gone in 60 Seconds" new cache series, Memphis and Friends.

Our Tuesday trekking turned into a Wednesday Wonder.
Ttrogg picked up the Rat from the Rat's nest.
We went after a few FTF's before returning to the plan.
Another quick find of an official geocache.

06-Sep-23
It was time for another Wednesday Wander so with the Rat only today we headed towards the chosen playing area which was mainly west of the city where quite a few new caches had appeared since we were last in the area. But there had been 10 caches published so it wasn't until they had all been taken care of, some by us, the rest by others, before we returned to Plan A. This cache was either one of the planned caches or one of the new ones that just happened to be in the area we were working. All caches looked for were found by one of us or sometimes by both of us simultaneously so it was a very satisfying day with quite a few added to the count. Most were from the new Gone in 60 Seconds Series which was nice for a traditionalist like me, except for Hillary which I found not as easy as I should have. The others were a variety of newish trads, puzzles and letterboxes.
Thanks to Memphis and Friends for placing this cache on our playing field.
Cache #13969 for me.

This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).

Di insisted the kids wanted me to go caching for fathers' day, and beyond... so a full day and late night, early morning it was!

Late/early and on the way home. Another one gone in less than 60...
The nearby speed device was strangely hooded, adding to the stealth!

Sincere appreciation for the cache hide and ongoing care and maintenance GeocachingSA . Cool

Keep a safe distance - clean and cache the countryside Big Grin

Special thanks to those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas,
in sensible safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting Cool

Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Wink Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!!

Big Grin [:o)] Wink

**FTF at 9:06AM**

I didn't plan on coming this far, I had already got 2 FTF's near Croydon in the same series. However, I had nothing to do so I came by.

I parked on the opposite side of the street and waited to cross the road. At that exact moment a "honk honk" came from a passing car, which turned out to be teamkronklee! What an interesting coincidence. I met them at a FTF opportunity last week and we discussed this very series and so was so funny to see them driving past today.

Once at GZ there was a break in traffic which let me grab this cache without being seen. Felt in the first place I checked, don't you love it when that happens?

I signed the log book and went to return the cache, another perfectly timed break in traffic let me return the cache without anyone spotting me.

Thanks GeocachingSA for this traditional cache and FTF, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3433 on the 25th of August 2023.

CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it!

Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!

After a very busy day, I decided to head out for some caching to relax and unwind. After spending way too long on the phone this evening, I ended up driving to some of these, well the first three anyway. The last two were quick finds while out on the bike in the dark.

Thanks for the find and sign in 60 seconds cache Memphis and Friends. Found after 6.30pm in the first place I looked.
