Logs
Was looking in the right spot, but was cache blind. Went looking for the croc, but it took a while! Once found, it eventually led me back to the place I started...and I found it. TFTC
#20644 - 2:58:51 PM; A quick overnight trip to Sydney and a chance to collect some of the newer caches around Rozelle and Balmain, which have appeared since my last visit. After completing that part of the mission, I crossed over Victoria Road and on to Callan Park for a few more, including this one. No problems here and the cache was soon snapped up and the log signed. TFTC pandacacherstar
I walked past the first time without realising it. Spotted on second time around
Cute little red bridge nearby. Was looking out for turtles and the like but none spotted. All dry inside the good container. TFTC
Not sure what the hint refers to but the cache was found in plain sight. Thanks for showing me this lovely hidden feature.
Found it. Cool park, croc hint was nice but unfortunately pen was out of ink so we could not sign log.
Found on a lovely Sunday walk. Nice spot to stand and talk about the evolution of AI. Thanks for the cache!
Awesome spot, beautifully hidden and wonderful park. Here is a pic of the croc:
I found it, but there was no physical log to sign, and a message had been sent to CO.
Clue had to use as the croc is almost all covered, read through the activity best clue was guarded by the rock, be a bit brave and you will find
Disappointing, as everyone else seems to have found it so easily. There was a bunch of rain a couple of nights ago, and there is a stone from the bridge washed into the creek, so perhaps the cache has been swept away too?
Found this one easily even though I was eying off the wrong bridge while in the phone to Brewmaker lamenting his home internet. Ive lived in Balmain several times during my 20 years in Sydney and the area has undergone such a huge change. Not looking for a massive mission today I decided to knock off some Rozelle caches and took a drive down darling st to see what is new.TFTC
After sailing off Rodd Point, lets do some geocaching. Signed log. With TBs Canadian Flag, Swiss Duck, Pittiplatsc, Corona Express Cruise Ship and Bierkrug in tow.
Having a great arvos caching - such a serene spot with the Japanese bridge looking like it has come straight out of a painting by the French Impressionist, Monet! Pity the surrounding buildings here are so bland (unlike the heritage Kirkbride Block). I much prefer Michael Dysarts mid-century modernist Broughton Hall Day Clinic, close by near the NSW Ambulance centre (see photo) dating from 1963.
Out for a Friday afternoon post-work geocaching walk. The last of our caches for this afternoon with fish and chips to follow. What a tty little area. SL TFTC Cheers Gaztek
Which Right of which side? No matter where I stand, I can make the hint work, lol.Quickly had CIH after looking in the wrong spots first, thanks pandacacherstar
#12788 12:30Taking the slow route to the 'Drop in for a Yarn' event at Sydney Olympic Park so I could find a few more caches.I have never visited Callan Park before, and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit today. There is so much history and so much so see. And best of all, most of the park is an off leash area for the geo pup.A cute little bridge over the water. The cache was found with accurate coordinates. I have no idea how the crocodile relates to this cache. TFTC pandacacherstar.
I have no idea what the hint meant!?! But luckily the coordinates are good. TFTC.
It seems to be missing.. it says 2ft right above the water now. Has it been washing down to bottom of the creek?
(1 of 2 today)The Geowife is out most of today leaving me free to cache.I'm looking to up my calendar count to 25 today (in accordance with my 25 by 25 goal), so headed to Callan Park for two recent placements. Both took a few minutes to locate, but nothing too hard, and I managed to beat the rain home.###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###Parked close to this one and made my way to a familiar area. I'm pretty sure the last time I was here required a little wading. Thankfully not today, though.A short reconnoiter of the area and I spotted something camo-like. When I checked it was CIH.Took away to the bridge to complete signing duties, then back for the replace.Nice spot.SLTNLNTFTC
A lovely spring day and not much to do. Why not knock off some geocaches that had appeared nearby. This was the first, in the grounds of Callen Park which is like so much in the Inner-West, currently being redeveloped.A quick find. TFTC
Always enjoy a visit to Callan Park with its old buildings and history. I guess one day all the refurbishments will be completed.A quick find with the hint and good coords. Thanks for bringing me back to Callan Park pcs.
Caches regularly pop up around the Bay Run which is lucky as it's one of the regular walks for
Geodog and I.
We started from Drummoyne Pool and walked anticlockwise so we were on the home stretch by the time we made the detour to this cache.
I remember coming to this very spot for a previous cache. That was in my early caching days and during the drought. You wouldn't easily find that cache now unless you stood in the water.
This hide - well I found the co-ordinates to be quite out and the hint wasn't very helpful as I never saw any crocodile but I did see the cache. Signed the log and rehid the cache.
SOMEONE HAS LEFT THEIR SUNNIES NEAR GZ.
They are there waiting for you.

Needed a cache to tick off a streak day while visiting family nearby and ended up with a two for one bonus, grabbing this two day old placement and a FTF on #3 at the same time!
Coordinates changed from:
S 33° 52.066 E 151° 9.410
Coordinates changed to:
S 33° 52.065 E 151° 9.417
Distance from original: 36.0 feet or 11.0 meters.
Feedback from seekers was that location is out, so I measured again and need to update the coordinates after checking them carefully (again).

This must have been in place when I was parked within 20m of GZ like I have been 2 or 3 times a week for the last 7 years, but unfortunately didn’t launch until I was most of the way home! Great spot, nice hide TFTC.
A nice walk in the grounds to the picturesque old bridge, for a quick find. OCW Brewmaker. TFTC
