Nice sunny Sun afternoon to seach for caches. Took a little while to locate it.. Log signed and returned. TFTC
After attending a none whittling wood event nearby, a number of us headed to this green dot on our maps and changed it into a once the logbook had been passed around.TFTC GeocachingSAKeep smiling
Today, I am planning to attend the geocaching event "Cosmic Quest - George Whittle Reserve" (GCAV4NF). I arrived the event venue a bit earlier, so I can find this cache (as it is a just of couple of meters away).Found the cache with the event host. Signed the log book. Thanks for the simple traditional cache, Memphis and Friends.
Great HideThanks GeocachingSA for the cacheJames0116Saturday, 10 Aug 20249:38:03AM ACST4706
After an early morning event and CITO we thought we would continue caching and help our alien friends on their journey. We are over half way to do our bit, but a few more would help community numbers too Oh and lots of smiles are always good. Nice park.
This a new account but I found this cache with my mum (EmsDan1315) and my brother (maggies123) on 25-4-2024. TFTC.
Call from Weredunn4 last night, for a few targeted caches today. This being one of them.Teamed up with cheezel1961 and hit the road around the northern area of Adelaide. TFTC SL
Tftc. Waited for a few wheelies to go past and did up my shoelace. Quick find.
Quick find, waited for a bit for the park to empty, only had a crayon to sign. Tftc
Great find, thank you for the cache. Great for beginner. Coordinates a little off.
Our focus today has been to reduce the number of cars on our "to find" list - at the start of the day we had found about half of them and hope to have less than ten remaining by the end of the day. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Memphis and Friends for the cache and the series.
Found It!Another bus stop and another quick find here. No buses were seen at this one!TFTC
Leap Year only rolls around every four years. Four years to wait for things to happen that you should have planned before the day is past and gone for another four years. So today is the day and here it is. I do like it when a planned plan achieves its target. Roll on 2028.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Today we went Tuesday Treking with Brisal5 and SewerRat, a good day was had overall. We had three DNF's but the caches that we found were all in good condition and needed no maintenance. Included in the haul of geocachers were a couple of earthcaches that tweaked our interest. SL TFTC
Something special or unusual goes here:The usual container in the usual locale made for a quick and easy find. The Generic Bit:Met up with Muff1 and S.A. Sewer Rats down near Hindmarsh for a day of caching and laughs. We targeted the new AdLab series and anything we happened to be passing Took quite a while driving around and swapping between Lab Series as well as looking for caches. [^] But in the end had 5 DNFs today so will have to come back sometime. **SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. - BOING*****Thanks GeocachingSA for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
I managed to time a work trip in SA with the leap day mega. Winner winner. A few convos later and AlliedOz, Granett, TheFitzys and Rodkaz were also up for the trip. What was going to be two days of caching turned into a single day (thanks qantas for the flight cancelling). So we put a plan together to grab as many variations of caches we could being a leap day. In between meetings managed to grab one before the lads arrived. Many thanks to GeocachingSA for placing and maintaining 41 2000 Porsche Boxster - Marsha. I was here at 12:58pm on Tuesday and this is my find 11240.
Out and about with sir_spectre grabbing a few caches might distract us when we are close to the upcoming Mega. Thanks to GeocachingSA from mogni
Quick find. Another one in this series down. Found with Mogni. Today started with a CITO event in Mawson lakes and then moving on to completing a couple of adventure labs and then on to the target area for the day. That area was the general area around the Mega site and the nearby mega CITO site. It was just slowly clearing the solved puzzles, trads and solving/finding the multi's. A early finish to caching saw only 40 + finds for the day even if we had a few DNF's. At least that area is thinned of unfound caches and lab stages, hopefully we will have some spare time to finish the area off before the mega.
I haven't done much caching yet this year so today was a welcome day out with Doctor Owl and sushilord for part of the day. We didn't have a real plan and just kept going from one cache to another that we all hadn't found. After dropping sushilord in the city Doctor Owl and I headed to the western suburbs with the aim of her reaching an important milestone which was duly celebrated. A fun day out which I thoroughly enjoyed.Another car and another quick find. Thanks for the cache GeocachingSA.
Out with JJ52 and initially Sushilord on a quest to make Owl's 13000th cache. After a terrible start to the day Owl and JJ52 were able to celebrate the milestone. This was the beginning of a better run and more optimism about getting the goal. A nice, quick find.
Another fine Tuesday caching the 'burbs with Froghoppin, today Sebastbat came along and Jack tagged along too! This was one of our several finds. Thank you GeocachingSA for the cache hide and ongoing care and maintenance ---------------- ----------------------In a dangerous world filled with rusty old mint tins and solid lumps falling from trees - - - a cache a day keeps us agile... sort of --------Caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp ) Work gets in the way - and some may take longer to log than others due to mixed technology and need for sleep! The skill and talent of some Zenior Zombies helps, and maybe a spot of luck too [:o)]----------Cache carefully and make sure Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on Clean as you go and cache the countryside Big thanks to those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas, in nice safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun for all Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!! Maybe not though - as someone actually did read to the end and alerted me to just a project GC badge that requires long logs [:o)] Well at least it's not as bad as finding a mint tin! Did you get that... stop putting out rusty mint tins, just stop it, now!!! C'est fini... For now... ... until tomorrow! PS:---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------GCA1DNA - Great Leap Forward ... or is it backward... it takes an extra day to get to March 29.2.24 The Mega Leap Event of the year. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------And don't forget to put the June Long Weekend in your diary for 2024 too... fun and funky finds
Another Tuesday adventure with Mattycat and Sebastbat, back down to the city for todays playground, another gone in 60 seconds and thus another found and signed in less than 60 secondsTFTC GeocachingSA
Mr Tardis was headed out to the Prospect area and grabbed a few caches on the way.Mr Tardis found the cache in the first place he looked - don't you just love it when that happens?Signed the log. Thanks for the cache GeocachingSA.
A new year so it was time to start to work toward my 2024 geocaching goal of getting to 3,000 caches. As I only need to find 35 some might call it a goal lacking ambition, but I prefer to call it achievable. After a brief afternoon of caching a total of 10 have been knocked off this goal. TFTC.
Nice find by Mishka again.Plenty of muggles around but snuck.in and found it. Happy days!
Quick grab for the daily, though it did elude me for longer than I anticipated. TFTC Memphis and Friends
With a few errands to run in the city I took the opportunity for a short caching circuit around the inner northern suburbs. Thanks for the cache Memphis and Friends!
Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi. Was heading back home from some shopping at Thebarton this morning, so a short detour by this cache was done. Parked opposite, and wandered over to GZ, and, once again, locaed the cache in the first place I felt. Loving these caches. Signed the log and replaced as found. Then back to the car to head home.Gratias pro cache Memphis and Friends
Hmmm ... I have only ever seen the first installment of the series How many they up to now I wonder ??Meanwhile I found me second installment in the cache series here Signed the log book and was gone in possibly 60 seconds, but it could have been longer !!!What's the rush ??

Two events today, and this is the physical cache to keep the streak going. A quick find as I get more and more accustomed to the series. Minimal spiders disturbed this time. Thanks for the cache and series Memphis and Friends.
This was a good find in the series, like the rest a nice and easy find was had here and cache is all good.Today with an event and CITO around Port Adelaide area I decided to head out and find a whole heap of new caches published over the last few months around the area, mainly focusing on the gone in 60 seconds series. Thanks for the cache
Time for another Wednesday Wander and with the Terrible Third being interstate it was just the Dynamic Duo. This half was intent on the 14 thousand milestone on a particular cache but after that was found it was a variety of caches to fill out the day. Over half were from the new Gone in 60 Seconds series, which satisfied the traditionalist in me and helped reduce the seemingly ever increasing number of trads in my 42K circle. The company was good, the weather great so, all in all, another enjoyable day out caching.
Thanks to Memphis and Friends for adding this cache to your nice series.
Cache #14010 for me.

Out at Office Works scanning & printing photos for sister’s special birthday. I felt I needed to make my day finding a couple of nearby caches. Sat, found, signed. This one made 3. Got to be happy with that.

Just lying there, and the phone goes ding. If I am going to make it first then I need to leap out of bed pretty quickly. There is some strong competition in this region, so messing about is not an option. Thankfully today is not a work day, and the timing suits me.
Driving along in yesterdays clothes, I stop at a familiar location, almost a tennis court here too, feeling right at home. Quick 60 seconds find and sign, then look up the next one, it might be close by. Thanks for the cache GeocachingSA. A nice way to start the weekend.
