Logs
I will check on this one in a couple of weeks time but still look at the base of a tree not bushes
Too bad, lots of bushes here. Like the previous one, we will not find this cache. Greetings from France. Dommage, beaucoup de buissons ici.Comme le prcdent, nous ne trouverons pas cette cache. Salutations de France.
Took me far longer to spot that I would care to admit. Great hide and beautiful down by the lake here. TFTC
Of course, I looked at the really big one first, then the second biggest one. It wasn't long that I saw the SPOR and the cache. TFTC.
7.2 World travelers adventure log.Out and about exploring the world with Nildran on this epic adventure! Thanks for adding to our memories and letting us explore your favorite spots all over the world! It continues to be a wild ride!TFTC SL If you find yourself at a local pub during trivia night, and the category is:'States shaped like a Mitten'here is some information that may help you win that round:Michigan trivia 7.223. Michigan is home to the first three tunnels in the world that connect two different countries: the St. Clair Tunnel, which connects Port Huron with Sarnia, Ontario, and the Michigan Central Railway Tunnel and Detroit Windsor Tunnel, both of which connect, you guessed it, Detroit and Windsor, Ontario.24. Detroit residents were the first in the nation to have phone numbers. It seems that by 1879, the city had grown so large that operator were no longer able to route the calls by name alone.25. A one-mile stretch of Detroit road was paved with concrete in 1908, making it the world's first concrete-paved road. 26. The world's largest weathervane was built by Whitehall Metal Studios of Montague. It's 48 feet tall and stands at the corner of Dowling and Water Streets.27. The Ella Ellenwood, a schooner that used to transport lumber from Montague to Milwaukee, went down in a storm in 1901. While the ship was not recovered, its nameplate did manage to float back to Montague all on its lonesome a year later.28. French-Canadian lumberjack Fabian Fournier, who worked for a lumber company in the Grayling area in the late 1800s, was said to be an inspiration for the legendary Paul Bunyan.29. Oscoda claims to be the official hometown of the literary Paul Bunyan, as the first published story about him appeared in the Oscoda Press in 1906. Oscoda puts on an annual Paul Bunyan Festival each September.30. Ossineke has a giant statue of Paul Bunyan and Babe, his blue ox. Unlike certain other statues of Babe, in this one he really is an ox, aka a steer.31. The Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids has a 24 foot high bronze equestrian statue that, while completed in the 1990s, was based on a design by Leonardo DaVinci.32. Petoskey stones, which are the state stones of Michigan, are made from 350 million-year-old fossilized limestone.
This one took some finding. I was concerned about all the leaf fall but did not need to be.Had some spare time in Wanaka this morning so decided a walk was needed and some caches picked up. Need to find lots more for the latest geocaching quest but hope to get there before 1 September. Quick find here. Thanks Dups16 for the caches along this trail.
Thanks for this, we had a family outing and found it in the end! Forgot the pen so couldnt write on the log book!
Thanks for the cache, found with Charliejojo while visiting, great hide and cache idea finding inspiration
Thanks for the awesome geocache!Pretty cool hiding place, never seen anything like it!
What an interesting and delightful arrangement, Dups16! Out on a cycle ride with Little Jimmy. EleniB is staying behind in town for some retail therapy. Thanks for the cache, Dups16. Took nothing, left nothing, travellers visited and the log was signed.
This one took the longest to find today as I initially misread the hint, after re-reading and a fortuitous glance in the right area I had my target. Tftc
Thanks for the cache. We worked ourselves through the bushes, instead along the shore
We are sure we've been here for a cache a few years ago. A number of people swimming today.
Checked on the cache today, it has come detached from its rock but is still in situ so will do some maintenance on it later in the meantime its all good to go.
Found on a quick trip out. Forgot the pen so have attached photo. Great spot and clever hide.
Really wanted to find this one but had to abandon my search eventually. This one is too smart for me ... for now ...
Hi there Dups16. Christmas Eve and after a latish start today we hunted a few caches - just for the excercise, then returning home as the rain began to get heavier. We found this cache at 0239pm after a short search - and the container and log are in good condition. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to Dups16 for this cache - our find 10786 and the 1st of 3 finds for the day.FieldNotes: The cache and log were both found in good condition.
Here from the U. S., hiking along these nice trails and finding some caches. Nice hide! I almost missed this one. Thanks!
Thought this might take a while but Cords were spot on so quick find for me. Tftc
