Been on a geocaching jaunt to Narrogin and Wickepin for three days. This is the last one of 95 on our way home. lunch stop Thank you to all the geo placers.
Out meandering the Bibbulmun Track and picked up a scent of cache - TFTC signed AB*
Caching with Pat from team Lyn, Pat and Nathan today and we called in to look for this one. Pat found this one quickly with the help of his torch. Thanks for the hunt Barnzy.
An easy cache with a torch. Who doesn't love a nano? The picnic table looks inviting but also like it may fall down soon.
We hiked from Brookton highway to Sullivans rock. Overnighting at Canning and Monadnocks. We found all the caches on the way except a dnf at the first one. TFTC SL.
After an early morning meet up with ILT for breakfast, we headed south towards home. Took a pit stop break here so the geo-schnauzers could have a stretch and also scored a smiley. Thanks B12
TFTC!Thought i knew where it was this morning before setting out but couldnt easily access it. Thanks to the CO for confirming for me. Had a second go on my way down from the hike!
With the long weekend we decided to put a day aside for a big adventure. We headed away from home nice and early before heading through this area grabbing caches as we went. This cache was on the list for today. Cheers and TFTC.Gday there Barnzy12, we were in this area today and found your cache Bibb Track Info - Sullivans Rock GCAECM4. Our name was added to the log book at 7:04am on 2 March 2024. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!We took up Geocaching on 3 March 2013 and this cache brings our total find count to - 14471.
Pazza didn't have to start work till 930 this morning so decided to head out for a 5km hike to Mt Vincent and back to test out our new Jetboil combined with the old Jetboil Pots. Set off at 430am and what a gorgeous morning for a sunrise walk in such a lovely area. Such a shame about the burnt sections south of Sullivan Rock....hopefully didn't affect too many Bibb walkers, we could still smell it very clear this morning but once we passed Sullivan Rock, it was as always, stunning! Saw a few kangaroos and wallabies, birdlife was in abundance and the wildflowers are still gorgeous! Such a great start to the day! So far we have completed Kalamunda to Dwellingup on the Bibb over the years but hoping to complete our E2E next year.....have to say this section we may have done many more than several times due to the ability to park at this exact cache!Love that there was a cache here to start the day....and a nice easy one at that! And knowing that the CO wants to get out on the Bibb track more makes it so much more appropriate. Nice easy find thanks to a good hint! Lucky pazza is taller than saz, she could see it but couldn't quite reach it! (Thats sazzas story.....she didn't want to put her fingers in where she couldn't see )Thank you Barnzy12 for placing and maintaining Bibb Track Info - Sullivan's Rock for us and others to find and enjoy! Found it. TFTC Barnzy12. Made a quick find here while doing some hiking. Great resting place. Replaced as found.
Joint *FTF* with axell33 at 1935h. Axell33 had watched it for a while so we decided if it was still there we go get it after dinner. And so we did! Axell33 spotted it by torchlight at gz and we marked the new log. It was a great night and there were plenty of critters about and a couple that Ive not seen before so I was very happy with this outing. We seen a couple of possums and an echidna! cheers for this cache Barnzy12.
Wahoo *FTF* with Leega. We just put an early dinner on due to a 3am wake up for work when we noticed this one. We decided if it was still untouched by the time we had dinner. We would give it shot. So we checked after dinner and it was still up for grabs, so we jumped in the car and made our way out to gz and once there it took us awhile to find our way in in the dark. Once at gz we made a nice quick find and opened up the log to find it still blank. So we signed our names and claimed the *FTF* at 1935. Your cache was returned back to where it resides.
