Thank you for hosting this geocaching Event! The date of the Event has passed. We automatically archive Events after 30 days (60 days for Mega- and Giga-Events). Attendees can still log archived Events, log trackables, and share their experiences.
We were glad we got to this one after the local Parkrun and being reminded by McLookers' presence there! It certainly looked like a big event with all the flags and stage setup, but it turned out that was for the volleyballers. Glad to do our bit to help make the area a bit tidier and the little bunny always enjoys playing with the gripping claws. Thanks for organising Wespro.
I wasnt sure the timing would work for me, however as this was the last CITO in November I had left myself little choice!I trekked down to Geelong and helped collect rubbish along the beach where a major volleyball tournament was taking place. Thanks wespro for adding this event to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. It was a great day out!----------------------------------------------------------Have you found all of the 12 Days of Cachemas series? 10:00A hassle-free trip to North Geelong, and a lap of the gardens with Neville_devil... there are far worse ways to start a day's caching. It never ceases to impress me how enthusiastically our community tackles these cleanups. Thanks, wespro.#8022
Good Morning!Due to circumstances many and varied, we've moved 40 odd metres to the north west. Look for the Beach Patrol flag close to a picnic shelter. You can see it from the posted coordinates.
Thanks for holding this CITO Wespro. A good amount of rubbish collected at the end. Apologies I left a tad early, wed come from Ballarat expecting rain so the husband and daughter waiting for me were cooking in their longs.
Another meaningful event where we had the opportunity to make a difference. Thanks wespro.
It was surprising how much rubbish was there once you started looking.Thank you wespro for organising the CITO
I needed a CITO on the 25th for a challenge I was working on and so after a few months wait there was one here in Geelong only 1hr 10 min drive away so I headed out early and found a couple of caches before I arrived.Stemicmitsar and I headed off and after only 15 minutes had 2 full bags already, so headed back, grabbed 2 more bags with rubbish and filled those as well. Thanks wespro for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
*25 Nov 2023, Attended from 9:00am, Find # 15401.*I wasn't planning on attending this one at first but as I had not done a CITO on the 25th of a month, things changed, and I headed for Geelong. It was certainly a great day to be out and about, I headed off with spiffy- and in no time at all our first bags was full, so we were back for a second which was also filled.**Thanks to wespro for hosting this CITO Eventcache.**
As I arrived I thought Wespro had put on a huge event, but turned out to be volleyball. We were able to clean up the rubbish to promote a clean Geelong to the visitors. Thanks for the CITO event Wespro #7,634
