Logs
There were people parked behind, and then someone reversed out in front, and then someone else came into a car further over. We waited but then were quite hidden. Stealth mission completed. Thank you, Dups16
A nice quick find. Time to rest up. Thanks for placing your cache. Ms_KR and I are off on a cruise around the south of the South. Great to be away. The Mega is over and now it is time to head home. With a stop in Timaru too! And today I got on my bike and did the trail out to Pleasant Point. Pleasant riding it was too.Occassionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs. Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.
The first of the Mega trip for me, a nice quick one at 820 before things start getting busy. Cheers
tmann421 and I are on our way south to attend the MEGA, picking up a few caches on the way.We enjoyed all the caches found and thank the cache owners for their efforts in maintaining these for us to findLog signed tm/ww NZTFTC
Nice find with woolwood9 today. Heading slowly down towards the MEGA in Dunedin.SL *tm/ww NZ**Thanks for the fun cache!*
This would be the most public cache we've ever looked for, managed it on a quiet Sunday and didn't attract any unwanted attention TFTC
This was our last cache on our trip to Timaru. A very high muggle area but I managed to get the cache without causing any interest from the others using the car park.TFTC
had to go into Mitre 10 for some stuff for the garden, so parked up right outside the cache location only to find it sprawled on the floor, so signed and put back where i assume it should be hidden, great, cheers
This was fun! I eyed up the location from the road, pulled in and parked at the perfect spot. Unfortunately there was a family fumbling at the car next to me, so I decided to pretend to be sorting something on the phone, when I heard: just put it back - so I said, can I sign it before you put it back? A few laughs later all was sorted. Nice to meet you!! TFTC!!
Early dinner tonight so walking after hours through town to grab a couple of caches. Quick find with no one around to question what I was doing. TFTC
FTC. Here with my wife Stacie and friend Lynn. Traveling from the United States, South Padre Island Texas. Having fun out caching today. Thanks for giving us another adventure!
Happy to see that there are Geo skirts everywhere in the world.Greetings from Chicagoland. TFTC!
Found easily using the hint. Great cache idea and super container. Have a favourite point. TFTC and greetings from the UK
We were docked in Timaru New Zealand for the day on our ship - Holland America's Volendam. We walked all around the city and south along a trail along the ocean. We wound up with 15 caches and a complete Lab on the day on our 11-mile walk.Thank you to drawp for 4 of the caches, Dups16 and RAYZR for 3 each, and to the other 5 COs for their efforts and for the other 5 caches.Thank you also to the Lab creator for that adventure.#####################This Cache: Quick Find
Found while visiting your beautiful town on Holland America's Volendam. Thank you for bringing us to this location.
Heading home after a weekend in Christchurch with AlpiSteve for Selwyn Sounds. We stopped here to stretch the legs...and a cache of course TFTC
No time to stop in Timaru today sadly. I do like it here. Just time to grab a couple if newer caches. Like the tin.
Heute sind wir mit Cousine I unterwegs, die gleich tatkrftig mithilft unsd die dise ortet.Merci
A summertime trip to the South Island, what could be better. My travels over the next few days have me flying to Christchurch (from Wellington) and then driving down to Timaru to visit with one of my favourite Geocaching teams. After a couple of days they'll be sick of me, so then it's back up to Christchurch for a night to see a band play, and then up to Kaikoura for a couple of nights and to see the same band play again. Along the way I'll be looking for Geocaches, and here's one I found. A great hide. Visiting after hours definitely made it easier. --- Thanks to Dups16 for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues. [DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge
Haha, love the hint. Have found caches with similar hides before so I knew where to look, tftc!
Mrs Biggles and I are on the road from Dunsandel to Timaru (D2T) finding a few caches along the way. All good here. Cache found in the first place I checked. TFTC, Biggles.
What a great day out and about in the area caching, most of the day was fine untill a heavy rain shower for about 30min, Many Thanaks to all the cache placers. - Bitsprayer
Last for a big day and as the carpark was deserted this turned into a drive by for us,Thankserninz
It was a grey and drizzly morning, so StreetWalkerNZ and I decided to pop out early, before morning coffee, to look for a few caches which might get mugglier as the day progressed. This was the first cab off the rank, and we were pretty sure we knew how it would be hidden, so sure that SW navigated me (the driver) to the wrong one as he wasn't looking at his GPSr properly!Once at the right spot, with car strategically placed, the cache was indeed hidden where we expected but not quite how we were expecting so it took a few minutes to track down . Another great wee container. TFTC.
#23166. Made hard work of this one but got there in the end. Thankfully it was very quiet at GZ and the rain was holding off. Great container! TFTC.
Im pretty sure I got the right spot, checked inside and nothinghope its not been taken
[FTF] We didnt even realise this cache had been published, we were too excited and on a rush to find the widow spider cache this morning, wasnt until a North Island geo cacher asked me why we hadnt claimed another FTF today. Extremely busy down here but we decided to come have a look anyway and then if it wasnt possible we would come back after shop hours, luckily where we went our car shaded us from people watching and we successfully managed to retrieve it and not fail miserably like our stealth mission this morning. Love the container, havent seen one like this before. Another favourite from us todayThanks so much
I saw this come up on my emails this morning and since we were going to Timaru we went to look. By the time we got there we had been pipped to the post but we still got second to find. We knew where it was likely to be and sure enough there it was. Didn't find what we were looking for in Mitre 10 though.
