An early start to find the few remaining Wherigos around the You Yangs area which was surprisingly busy with dog walkers. It was a relaxing walk with the Currawongs chorus and the thunder of jets engines in the distance.I checked where I thought it would be, but was unable to locate. Had a look around and committed the the previous search and located the hide.Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for the traditional cache midka4 #7,996

Apologies for the late log mldka4, as dalerious and I totally missed logging this cache when dalerious and I found it in the new year.I never knew this area existed or how pretty it is. There are no signs from the highway alerting you to a wonderful place to visit.Well, that is the beauty of geocaching isn't it.Geocaching highlights all the awesome areas Big Grin.

We have got way behind in our logging and are trying to catch up and get our caching in order.Life has been pretty hectic this year, and a lot of it has gotten in the way of efficient logging of finds. We want to thank all the Cache owners for providing an array of caches for us around our countryside and in our cities. We apologise for the generic logs. We must do this to get through the backlog.Unless otherwise specified, all the caches we found were in good order.Thank you, nldka4, for this Traditional cache.

Once I heard the Geelong Christmas event dates had been locked in, I booked my accommodation for the 2 nights required at Little River.I headed down last night to save the longer drive this morning and also I could get a sleep in as well.I woke up to a rather damp morning but that has never put us Geocachers off before. After the Morning Tea event I got a message from my caching buddy Gemma Sistema that she was one her way down to Geelong and it was time to catch up.Life has got in the way of our caching days out together so it was great to catch up again and head out for a few laughs.Gemma drove us around today and I was supposed to navigate, so what came out of today is that Im a lousy navigator so it will back to the driving for me on our next adventures. The lunch time event has been done and dusted so now to find a few more till the next event.A very grand looking place and some of the buildings are very impressive indeed.Cache was soon located after being dropped off near GZ.Thanks mldka4 TFTC.
