Some strange shoes were left behind and looked outta place, just like the cache. Tftc
Fortunately no signs of war, just a nice autumn afternoon. pretty cool camouflage of the cache ... my GPS was a bit "off the track" and fooled us.TFTC
Out exploring Eskdale Reserve with TheLandGirl this afternoon and we kept bumping into TheGeoGermans at most cache sites, despite walking around the reserve in different directions from them! A few other bits and pieces around GZ, but we quickly spotted the cache container here. TFTC!
My final cache of the day to grab my leap year souvenir, the GPS had me off a bit today, so I found some weird things instead of the cache, but once the GPS took me to the right spot it was a quick grab, all in good condition! Have one of these I keep meaning to place somewhere. Thanks for the cache #1640
A pleasant morning caching with Team Welsh on the Shore today. We were speculating as to what the hide would be as we approached GZ and began our hunt for the cache, but were a bit surprised when the find was actually made. We were not expecting that. TFTC.
Parked on Speedy Cres and walked over the road to access the pathway to the cache. It was not what we expected and very happy to sign this one off. Found in the company of Mr and Mrs KC. Thanks for another cache placement.### LET'S HAVE A BLOCK PARTY!!! ###On **May 3rd, 2025**, we will be celebrating 25 years of geocaching in **Rotorua, New Zealand** with a special **Block Party** event. I popped out to run an errand this evening and since this hide wasn't too much extra distance I decided to make the detour and head over to ground zero for a look. I parked up pretty close to ground zero and got to the searching bit. It ended up being a quick find thanks to the clear hint. Cheers for the cache placement!
Out caching on the shore with Jag 50. Nice quick find while stopping for strawberries
Out with Net61 for a ladies day caching on the Shore. No sign of any war here today, although there were a number of muggles selling strawberries, cherries, Cookietime cookies and other Xmas treats. Once at gz, we made a quick find of the cache. We have never seen a cache container like this before. We stopped and got some strawberries before continuing on. TFTC
( ) Out for a long day of caching 12 hrs all up, with supernanny. We parked too far away and realised once we got out of supernanny's car, so hopped back in and instead parked on Speedy Cres, yes, that sounds like us.... the speedy westies. Then we hopped across the road and found ourselves in some bush, prickly stuff this totara! Then supernanny found the hide in a spot I thought I checked... oh well, must be getting tired.
Out caching for a massive 12 hours today with Gorby!Starting to head homewards to the West now....Nice easy find thanks to great hint.
G2 is within 162.1 metres of north western territory, or is that east? Surely gc hq should dismiss this invasion. Let the hostialities commence no NSA alliance here!
Now that Im a Coastie Im pleading allegiance to Switzerland and shall remain neutral in this battle
I dont know about the war but I feel like I won this battle. this one was so close from home I decided to walk to it. I almost couldnt claim the FTF due to a recalcitrant pen but eventually managed to sign the log at 9.40pm. I hadnt seen one of these cache container before. TFTC and FTF
