Great camouflage! Geobuddy PhiliaSophie11 found it after a few minutes. Thanks for the cool cache.
Too tricky for us to find but first time trying- The Smashing Oranges, Portsmouth, UK
Took us a while but finally found it. Logbook was soaked though so couldnt sign it. Excellent cache! TFTC
Great cache. As someone else stated, hiding in plain sight. Does need naintenance though
Back again with a hint from a previous finder. The cache sure does blend in well! The log book is pretty damp and sort of fell apart as i was signing it but i did put it back without trouble.
We looked for quite a while for this one but will have to return for another look Tfth Co .
We looked all over for this one, unfortunately we did not hear the cache calling us, we shall return for another go. TFTH co
Out walking in the rain with Pittstopp74 to find some of the BBBB. No luck with this one today
Another attempt, another DNF. Came from the street this time rather than the bike path and concentrated on a tree with a climber. But even scouring a little further afield it wasn't my day to find this one.
Couldn't let it go, we had to come back. Finally found it. My GPS showed quite wide of GZ, and very good camouflage.
2 cachers.. 45minutes first sweep came up empty... kept along pathways for 9 finds, then returned for a further 25minutes... still a dnf... and a sad blue face.
What a great caching day we had. It was full of catch up chatter, searches and imaginative caches as well.We are working our way towards our goal of 2000 by the end of the year and if we keep having days like today we just might make it.I had unsuccessfully looked for this one some time ago and I was hoping 'the big guns' (the other team members) would be able to net Zazu.It was here, while we we sitting on the parking log wondering where to look next that Que Sera pulled up below on her Ebike. After introductions were made we all got busy searching and eventually Zazu was found. Oh happy days.Awarded favourite point for the fact that it is in plain sight yet so easy to miss.Well done EJS20
Today i decided to take my Ebike out here to enjoy a ride and find some smileys. All up i found 13 caches and only 1 DNF. I also met the Oztrackers on my way and we found a few caches together which was really nice. I loved the ride and all up spent around 3 hour. This is where thankfully i met the Oztrackers and they said they had been there awhile . I went up the hill from the bike track and we looked all around up and down and in the middle and were nearly going to give up when i heard those wonderful three words. " i found it". Wow that is hard to spot and i love the cache. Giving it a FP for all the fun
Wow thought this was going to take a long time but walked straight up to it was surprised tftc
NobbysNuts and I spent some time without luck. I blame it on the fact that this to be the last cache for the day and the last hunt is always the longest and we were cache blind by nowI'm sure the cache will still be there so we will return with fresh eyes.
After the Paddle Palooza up on Hays Inlet a small group went a-caching that group has now whittled down to just Davinells and I With a couple of targets on the Southside of the river, we collected a few random caches on the way and afterwardsA chance to avenge my DNF and I brought back up the cache is no oonger attached to the tree though, so a CO visit may be warrantedThanks EJS20
After a great morning paddling on Hays Inlet and some group caching in north Brisbane, we are now heading towards home, grabbing a few more caches. Peppa had been here before but was not successful so was keen to rectify. He pretty much spotted it straight away. Unfortunately the string is broken but we could place it in the tree where we found it. Tftc EJS20Find #5873
Shazzar66 and I cycled 42 Kms today along the Bulimba Creek Bikeway looking for caches. This wasnt a target cache for us, but we looked for a while and couldnt find it. We knew it was tricky. Well be back another time.
I think this was the 4th visit to find this. Like beardman75, this finally just popped out. Thanks for the well camoflauged cache and multiple adventures.
Thanks for the placement and smiley. A quick find today which makes me laugh at previous visits. Hidden in plain site but eluded me for a few visits. Ready for another of your great hides. A fave.
Out and about with TBU1Bikesu for more smileys . TftcFound the cache am 10/12/23
This was our fourth and last for today, the others being part of the Bikeway power trail. Unfortunately, I reprised my title of the DNF Queen.Geokid and I searched as best we could but to no avail. But we did have fun spotting three different types of birds, cicada shells and some other interesting bugs.Next time!
Found this one while doing a bike trail run of caches in the area, thanks for the cache. After this mornings event a bunch of us headed out to grab a few new caches. We started with a multi on the Bulimba Creek Bikeway and then tracked north, collecting caches along the way. I had brought my bike and it was nice to get out and get in some exercise. It seems the only people to bring bikes today was myself and Davidwazza (with cottontail) so we teamed up and rode the trails. There were two other groups who followed along in cars. It was a fun ride and a nice area to take in, it is a popular walking trail for walkers, dog walkers and families bike riding with kids, very busy. We were stopped by a couple of people interested in our activities, lol. We did manage to bump into the other teams as we went along, we would arrive around the same times and then systematically look for the caches. All caches were found and signed with BBBB today, thanks for the trail and then I guess there will be more
Regarding our bike ride, we left our vehicles at the Broadwater Picnic Area, and we rode a total distance of 13.1 km across an elevation of 105 m, with a moving time of 1:00 hr and elapsed time of 2:40 hr, as per my [Strava record](https://www.strava.com/activities/10508615391). It was an enjoyable ride along Bulimba Creek Bikeway which had plenty of shade. Power trails are mentally exhausting by vehicle, but that is completely contrasted by bike. With the many visits and DNFs at this location, I was a little scared that we would be spending some time at this location, so I stopped the bike and had baby Cottontail stretch her legs, as we made a "group" search. We had been told about the cache type, and I was surprised that this hide could be so effective. Much to my delight, [chamad](https://coord.info/PRPP06G) found the cache within a few minutes, just as a vehicle with other Geocachers arrived. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and a cute little container at that! Thanks EJS20 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------This morning, following a catch-up at the [Coffee Aminya Caches Helluva Event](https://coord.info/GCAHGJG), baby Cottontail and I joined [chamad](https://coord.info/PRPP06G) by bike to ride the newly published Bulimba Bikeway Bison Bash (BBBB) series. It was the third section, and we rode north from Mount Gravatt-Capalaba Road to Pine Mountain Road. It was Goldilocks weather, and ideal to be on the bike before heating up in the afternoon.
After attending the morning event today, our group have been driving to the caches put down for the next section of the BBBB trail. As we were nearby, we stopped to see if we could locate this cache as I haven't found it yet.Luckily with previous finders, it was quickly found.Log signed, cache returned. TFTC EJS20
After several visits and a couple of PAFs, I'm giving up. I will put this on watch
Out with a group after a nearby event.Joint **FTF**Armed with some more information, the cache was found today.Log signed and cache replaced as found at 11:31 AM on December 10, 2023. TFTC, EJS20
After a nearby event and collecting several caches along the bike track, we headed to this one with a bit smaller group. It hadn't been found yet, and many eyes were useful until we heard the shouting "here it is".So it's a *Joint FTF* today around 11.30 am. It's a cute cache, well worth a fav or two. One from me for sure!Tftc EJS20
*Joint FTF* with Snickersallan, RoddyC, Hatzofff, grannysmith1947, Kolour and TBU after an early morning Event.
* FTF * with RoddyC Hatzoff Imbumba Snickersallan Kolour TFTC smile 17266 out and about on a lovely day Signed as grannysmith1947 with all of the above FP Thank you EJS20 for placing this cache for our enjoyment
After the event and finding the new BBBB series and a few others in that area, I decided to find a few more caches with RoddyC, hatzofff, Imbunda, Snickersallan, grannysmith1947 and TBU. With some of our group being unsuccessful here before, we decided to have a group assault. While some stayed higher up, others of us went down lower and it wasnt long before Snickersallan found the cute well camouflaged cache. Another joint *FTF*. What a haul for me today - I only had two before today! A fp as its very clever and I rarely get FTFs. Tftc
Joint ***[ FTF]***Found by RoddyC hatzofff imbunda snickersallan GS1947 TBUs and kolourwe had additional information on this cache and remembered the cache we had previously found we headed off to the find once again. With out team splitting our search area and before long the screams of delight and the happy dance were performed. TFTCache EJS20
Joint **FTF** with kolour, Imbunda, RoddyC, hatzofff, grannysmith1947, and TBU x 2.This was a fabulous cache found after many eyes were searching for the prize. Loved the camouflage, and a favourite point is coming your way.Thank you, EJS20, for placing this cache for our benefit and enjoyment
I'll have to join the other geocachers and register a DNF. I spent a good 45 mins searching everywhere within a 20 mtr radius. Up the top and down the bottom and everywhere in between. Can see where the other cachers have been. Better luck next time I come searching I hope.
