Loved it so cute and unprotected.Going for a around the streets. Ti's nice placing a smile in all the streets.
(9942) Got up early this morning to do a spot of caching around Feilding. Liked the variety of hides. Liked the container as it is appropriate. Thanks DadandKidsNz for taking the time to place the cache and for bringing me here.
15 June 2024 15:56 TFTC DadandKidsNz for placing this cache, number 14447 for me. Unable to open so photo as proof of find if needed.
#14,814. I was having a weekend up in the Manawatu region and good to be caching with a team today. Nice quick find here. But no way we could get the acorn to reveal its inner secrets. Tried twisting, unscrewing and pulling on it. Did not budge or open. Suspect its been cross threaded? Will need someone with good hand strength or a set of pliers to loosen it up. Replaced the cache exactly where found. Thanks DadandKidsNz for hiding it here.
I was looking in the branches for the hint item since that was a logical place for it to be. I eventually just cast my eyes in a different location and the cache was there. TFTC.
#15,113. Park and grab on Sandilands Street in Feilding. Fortunately, the GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Quick find. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Today is another rostered Friday to provide tech support to the Feilding office. And you know what that means... lunchtime caching! I've cleaned out two quadrants of Feilding township on previous Fridays, so today I have another area in my sights.I took a bit to locate this one, but what a beautifully crafted container!
**21,160**We have seen this type of cache before in the Waikato. Nice little container. TFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap) Weve run away from home for the weekend. Our plan is to cache til we dropA young chap passed us by and couldnt resist looking back a time or two. As he disappeared from sight, the onus was on us to make the extraction - A challenge when one has sausages for fingers Thanks DadandKidsNZ. TFTC.
Thanks for your amazing cache DadandKidsNz.Found with Fisha1288 Nice hide and has earned a favorite from me I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches. Cheers, Cympull.
Once again I am spending the weekend in Wanganui, and once again I have a Saturday afternoon free. Today I was prepared. I needed one more day of 50+ find to complete one part of the DGSc Challenge, and so today I was to focus on clearing out the Feilding area. An I did (mostly) thanks to a large number of recently published high quality hides, and a beautiful summers day. I had a lot of fun, spending ten hours floating around the region and gathering up Geocaches. Here's one I found.Once you know what you're looking for, it's right there---Thanks to by DadandKidsNz for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.[DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.
Visiting Feilding today for the first time in my life, aiming to get a few caches to go towards my 50 for the month for the Baker's Dozen. I liked this cache. I haven't seen one of these before, and would love to know where to get one from. FP from me. Thanks for the cache.
Wow, these containers are cute!Deserves more FPs, and hope it doesn't get muggled or even stolen by a squirrel or chipmunk! An ambulance passed while I was at GZ - the friendly Officer smiled and waved - maybe they're geocachers too!TNLNSL TFTC + FP
Today I'm heading up to Palmerston North and Feilding on a bit of a numbers run to help boost my qualification efforts for the Bulk Finding Elective of GC30AD8 DGSc Challenge. Over the last few months there have been many new caches published up that way, so I'm hopeful of being able to find 50+ today.Having got my day off to a flying start with the Lockwood Power Trail, I thought I'd then head off to my anticipated furthest point in order to start caching back towards home. By now I was in Feilding, and starting to find some of the recently placed caches..I'm presuming this is a 3D print? It does look very good, so it wouldn't actually surprise me if it was turned rather than printed. Either way it was a quick find in its hole. No issues to report, so everything was placed back as found once I'd added my name to the log.Thank you for setting this one up
Another of these lovely little acorns , so nicely made . this was very quickly located , signed and replaced Thank you for this new cache .Another really hot day . We set off from Palmerston North around about 2.00pm just as the day was starting to heat up ! Our first stop was at Kitchener park which we walked through to once again complete the Adventure lab that was there . This time were finally more successful and it was lovely walking in the shade through the trees but then we searched on the other side to locate Riddles 2 with no luck ! we left there and headed into town to locate some of the clever new caches around Feilding . Each took a little longer than a park and grab as they are cleverly put together .
A nifty find by HS today when we decided to drive out to Feilding to get some of these recently placed caches. Thank you DadandKidsNz.
This marked the final of our combined caching efforts and I noticed the appropriate flag nearby - oddly there was also one where I had parked to start today's mission!T F T C DadandKidsNz.Capperz had suggested an afternoon trip this week to grab some of the new caches that had popped up over the holidays. This afternoon suited us both and the weather blasted down its sunny rays as we grabbed eight together and then I went on to grab another three plus two Adventure Lab Cache stages due to my map having a heap more unfound caches than his.Sadly the day finished with a DNF but I'm very happy with the overall total for today!
Penultimate find and a variation on the theme. All good and replaced as found. An after work mini session with tommygun9 to swoop up some of the recent new placements in Feilding. Wed both noted the smattering of Fave points awarded and were pleased with the hide styles and variety from this innovative new CO. As my map of potential available options shrunk by 8, this quick hail in 40 minutes was just the tonic thus cacher was seeking. Thanks to all the Cache Owner for their caches today, left some for another future visit(s)
Had a 6km run as part of my 75 hard challenge and what a better way to enjoy the run just that much more, such a cute little cache, cache all in good order thanks for the placement.
Another morning in Feilding, soon had cache in my hand. Thanks DadandKidsNz for the cache.
We were glad to take a short break from the family busyness on this Christmas Eve day, so we came over to Feilding for a little geocaching and lunch. Despite the unpromising weather the rain stayed away while we did our geocaching and only started up once we were safely back in the car after our last cache for the day! It was nice and quiet in the street when we arrived. When we searched for this cache we were looking for one on a wire, as mentioned in Phronimoss FTF log. We could find nothing and then as I turned to go back to the car there it was in plain view lying in a small nest, no sign of any wire. As other finders, we had trouble unscrewing the top and had to get a tool from the car. After that the log was quickly signed and the cache was returned as found. The CO might like to give it a check in case its no longer placed as intended. TFTC DadAndKidsNz.
Drove to Feilding for acouple recent caches we hadnt yet found. Our cousins from Canada came along and gave us an extra eye.Quick find no issues hereI wrote in the log and placed the cache carefully back as found. TFTC. Thanks DadandKidsNz for this Traditional cache! DadandKidsNz , !Logged on 23 December 2023 at 9:21PM#807th find

As we were leaving for a trip to Feilding this morning, markhnz told us there were two new caches there, so we added them to the list. This nicely camouflaged little cache was a quick easy find and gets a favourite from us. Thanks to Phronimos and watcache for opening the cache and leaving it loose for us. TFTC
Thanks to Phronimos and his tott we got a joint (FTF) spend 30 minutes here with no luck with my tott couldn't get into the cache was very tight.Cool cache neighbour's we're watching lots of muggles at times tried to not look strange lol. Tftc
Joint {FTF} @ 1115 with watcache as it was IMPOSSIBLE to extract the log insitu. The container had been done up too tight! Watcache had been trying for half an hour. I cut the wire and used a pair of tools to unscrew it. Rewired back after completing the formalities. TFTFTF.
