Parked up by the sea and walked the last km up the road to GZ. Not a soul to be seen. The cache was a quick find. TFTC.

Thank goodness this was not a hard find!!! The car park was packed with Porsches and our Toyota looked a little out of place. A good excuse to come up here and really, no one else on the road in. Thank you.

Last stop on the peninsula before Nosynel and I head home. Great hint! No problem finding the cache. NN took the Dutch tb, most appropriate given she's a Dutch NZer. Thanks MacPacFamily #10392

22 februari 2024 20:49Dutchies on a holiday in NZ. We're staying for a night with our campervan at French Farm winery. Had a good glass of wine here and a tasty salmon pizza. The cache was easy to find. Left a TB that I found in The Netherlands here because it's a convenient place for a bottle of spirits.TFTC,KrokoIN: TBOUT: -Dit is mijn 944ste gevonden cache.

A really easy find here. We stayed in Akaroa for a while and got a few caches and were finally headed out, this might be the last cache of the trip , whats better than a place like this!Writing this log as I enjoy the view and my smoothie with the relaxing music in the background. Would highly recommend staying for food or drinks if you are getting the cache!Logbook signed at 11:56, Sunday, 28th January. Cache number 317, TFTC!

That Darn Bear and I planned to head out for some old (2001) caches, but after finding the first one a couple of new cache alerts came out so we abandoned the old plan and headed out for them instead. The first wasn't too far away, but this was more of a mission. Shall we do it? Okay, why not? So out here we headed. Parked in the lower car park and walked up to GZ. One of the owners was just leaving so I had a talk to him - yes he knew a cache was going in, so I said that we were the first to find it, and showed him where it had been put (he didn't know). And since we were both hungry, we stayed for a leisurely lunch. Frankly, we had a great time sitting around doing nothing. But I do have a plane to catch so reluctantly we did have to leave. Did get a few more on the way back to Chch.Incidentally I was last here with Taybeedragon in 2016. Pretty much cached the place out. Quite a few have appeared since, but the bear and I didn't have time to do any more. Many thanks for the {FTF} and the shared find with That Darn Bear.
