WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 145 - Toowoomba Day 1. I had a few aims on this day around town. I was looking to visit as many Lab caches as I could and get a few normal caches as well. I ended up doing quite a loop of the city area and a big walk through town before lunch. Some of the Labs ere quite challenging and the bonus caches proved difficult. I was happy to find a bit of shade to have a late lunch before an excursion to Drayton and then back to the Toowoomba Show grounds where I am staying to do some logs and cook dinner at the van. Another day around Toowoomba tomorrow. As I headed into town to find my first set of labs I drove near a few caches so just had to stop for a look. I found my way into the disused car park and was rewarded with a cache right in front of the car. It is good there is a step. Thanks for the cache RobbieP8749118.2 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & What Would Signal Do? A#110**Albida**

Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Staying in Toowoomba while the caravan is in for repairs in Burpengary. We didn't head out till after lunch today after a big day out yesterday. We hoped to complete some of the nearby multi caches, which thankfully was a success. we converted to of our previous but collected some more aswell. We found this cache today. With quite a few new caches appearing around town I thought I would visit a few today. I did not know there was a train station here. Thanks for bringing me here. A quick find for me today. Thanks for the cache.
Brilliant, this was fairly easy to find. Am thoroughly enjoying! Tall people are nessassary for this one. Unless you're a monkey
Eagle eyed wife spotted this before we got out of the car, good find, tftc!
(2TF) On our way to appointment at St Andrews Hospiital, and with a little bit of time to kill, this cache looked easy enough to get to with out spoiling the special dress or shoes. And not needing 4WD to gain access. Or a special TOTT.Arrived, spotted from the geo-subi, reached up to retrieve, sat in air-con to sign, and returned to hidey hole. Interesting that the Westlander used to stop there and not Toowoomba Station. Shame the old station is no longer in situ, it would have made an interesting building at one of the local rail museums. Thanks for the hide RobbieP87. The others can wait for another day - or my next hospital visit.
