Decided to visit here to camp the night. After setting up we took a stroll along the foreshore to GZ. Had an idea where it might be and quickly spotted something which was a different colour to its surroundings. Great effort by the community to create such an inviting place. TFTC
Parked up and luckily spotted the cache before we got out of the car.Out and about in the wheatbelt on day 2 of our country getaway.TFTC pood this is find #17471 for us.
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 73 - Westonia to Koorda via Mukinbudin and Bencubbin. The roads were quiet and the rain held off till the afternoon. I managed to do some labs in Mukinbudin. Once I was set up in Koorda, I pulled out the eScooter and did a lap of town for the local caches before heading down to the pub on foot for dinner. It rained all nigh but was quite a bit warmer than the last two days. More travel to the west tomorrow..I took this detour not knowing what would be at the end. A caching trip from Canberra, ACT to Cape York, Qld and then around the gulf to East Arnhem Land, NT then over the top of WA and down to Perth.Interesting detours to Thursday Island, Mabuiag Island, Mornington Island, Doomadgee, Hells Gate, Nhulunbuy, Wadeye, Litchfield National Park, Wyndham, the Gibb River Road, Monkey Mia, Meekatharra, Wiluna, Laverton & Warburton.TFTC. Nice drive out to this one. Quick find.Some crazys have been doing wheelies on the lake.
Forgot to log this when found on 10/02/24. TFTC. Would be nice to see this full of water again.
A drive out to get some LGA's and a bonus of some **FTF**'s along the way. Given the previous DNF I wasn't sure what to expect. Gave it a good go and given the wind decided to look further a field and found it on the ground. Opened it up to find a blank log and completed the signing duties. Re hid in a likely location. Had a laugh at the Kanga. The storm certainly has made a mess of the area. TFTC
