Over from Brisbane on work commitment. Knocked off at 5, raced to the hotel and chucked on my caching gear.A quick walk to the train station and 2 stops to glendalough and tonights caching experience began. It didnt take long until I had the cache in hand and log extracted. Made my mark and quickly returned it to its hiding place for the next lucky cacher to findOff on the next adventureA big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found by like minded individuals.Cheers
The video search looked like it was going to be a tough one but the cache was in the first place I looked. There are so many people walking around it would have been difficult if it had not been such a quick find.
Arrived at GZ and with limited options for a cache to be hidden presenting themselves I uncoveeed the container quickly and was soon back on my way. Having spent the day in training at Como, I was pleased to be released early, giving me a couple of free hours before my evening commitments to dash around town and grab a few caches.I decided to head north of the river, focusing on caches in the Coolbinia and Mt Hawthorn areas, and finished with a quick dash into Subiaco to avenge a previous DNF.After attending to my evening plans, I was able to swing by Burswood to catch an event before heading home to start packing for IGD this weekend.A successful afternoon saw me add 7 finds, 1 event attended, and 0 DNFs to my totals. Thanks go to Player457123 for placing and maintaining the Traditional cache Hawthorn's Hollow for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 16:03 on 15/8/2024.This is find number 9150 for me.
Finally a nice easy one! Left a foreign coin behind from a recent trip, signed the log. A bit wet inside the cache, but the paper remains dry in it's ziploc bag. TFTC
Dropped the misso off at a party so in the meantime I will cache. Cool hide and cool spot thanks
Thank you for this cache. Interesting little paths. Loved seeing the dogs around here. Noticed a little structure. Stay cozy and dry and kind every one.
No problems finding this one thanks to the great hint. Felt a little suspicious though being so close to the back fences. TFTC
Found it. TFTC BrodieH457 Happy to make a find here when passing, replaced as found.
Catching up on a few of the new hides in the area. This was a quick find. Tftc
TFTC! Great cache and just got out in time; a minute later, a muggle walked by and wouldve seen me had I not got out in time! P.S; for prospecting finders, GZ is several metres off. Its a rectangular box, not a tube.
TFTC. Every time I visited the tennis court, I thought I shall place a cache nearby. There are many pocket space good for Geocaching. TFTC.
Had a cracker of a time out on the geocaching trail with the Cockburn Crew after kicking things off at the event in Northbridge by Barnzy12 at Old Shanghai Food Court. Gridge98 joined the adventure, and let me tell ya, it was a real ripper of a night, though not the most successful in terms of finds. We hit the road, heading north through suburbs on the eastern side of the Mitchell Freeway. From Clarkson to Banksia Grove, we covered some ground, but unfortunately, it was a bit of a DNF fest for us. You know how it goes sometimes the caches play hard to get.Despite the lack of finds, the camaraderie was spot on. There's something special about cruising around with fellow cachers, sharing stories and the occasional chuckle over our search attempts. It's not always about the finds; it's about the journey and the mateship. We capped off the night in Leederville, where we had initially merged our cars. It was a fitting end to the adventure, swapping tales of the night's escapades. Even though the caches might've eluded us, the memories and laughs made it a top-notch geocaching experience.Big shoutout to Barnzy12 for hosting the event and bringing us all together. Despite the DNFs, it was a ripper night out with the Cockburn Crew and Gridge98. Cheers for the good times, and here's to the next adventure!
A quick find here tonight cache is all goodAfter an event in Northbridge this evening, I headed out with the Cockburn Crew (Leg5, Barnzy12, Lachlan1.77 and cravo10). Most of the logs were signed as CC or Cockburn Crew. We had almost as many DNFs tonight as finds sadly otherwise a fun adventure around the northern subrubs. Thanks for the cache

Out and about with the Cockburn Crew and Gridge98 for a run through the northern suburbs.
Quick find with the helpful hint. Some pleasant trails through here. Thanks for the cache
A quick park and grab. I could probably have walked but it was way too hot to walk far today. Thanks for the hide.
[FTF] I saw this one pop up last night and that helped me decided where I was going to run to this morning. When I was getting ready to leave I checked the cache and was suprised to see that the FTF was still available. As I was approaching GZ from the other side of the park I noticed a group of people standing around talking and thought that they may be cachers that had already found the cache but as I got closer I saw that they were some distance from GZ so the FTF was still looking good. I arrived at GZ and spotted the camo straight away and a blank log in the cache. Woohoo!. .TFTC BrodieH457
