I couldnt quite crack this one today - there was a previous log that mentioned it was a lot easier to find it before Spring came and all the leaves grew in, and I think they were definitely onto something with that.Younger me LOVED spaces like GZ and would have been excited to play around in there. Present me thought it was cool too, but maybe would have preferred a similar area with a few less stray twigs haha

Found with minniek during a meander around adding to today's tally of cache finds. In Canberra with a few hours up our sleeves, so we targeted a few caches. This was virtually a nice quick drive-by. A quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to another one on the list. Thanks InnocentApple !!

Entered the trees and after a short search the cache was thankfully spotted without much effort. We somehow chose a far worse path to head back out of the trees & Scaphoid got a full face of cobwebs and jumped backwards! Oh no Smile even more of a pain when it was found stuck in her hair! TFTC

#4782 I dropped by here after managing a find on another not too far away. It was more so time restraint that inhibited a thorough search at the time so left it be for another time. Back this afternoon and resumed where I had left off. This time much more successful and the cache was soon enough in hand. TFTC.

Out with LuckyL10n and this one took a few minutes, which was par for the course for the day. Cache is obvious, you just need to be in the right position. The local bird has been busy. Thanks for another one IA....

#19507 - 2:43:00 PM; Last day of the Easter Geobash weekend. The day started with a group activity watching social Climber do what he does so well. Climb! Next it was off to revisit an old nemesis cache with Sol de lune and feathertop in Watson, followed by an attempt to avenge a recent DNF. Once that was achieved, Sdl and I headed southside for a few more finds before we went our separate ways after a successful caching long weekend. All caches were found in good condition and returned as found once the log was signed. This one took some time to find, but after checking earlier logs, we persisted and were rewarded with a find. TFTC InnocentApple Smile

#22030 @1210With some free time before this afternoon's events and activities at the Mega site, I headed off to find a few caches. Cache soon found, thanks to being armed with a hint from a previous finder. This was my 3rd visit here! How I missed it on my previous two visits, I don't know! TFTC.

This took a little time to find as GZ was a little out on our phones (since corrected by the CO); beautifully decorated nest nearby! Thanks, InnocentApple.

After a bit of searching we found it 12m from GZ which appeared to be in the middle of the road. Look in the bushes. TFTCAfter the search we noticed a Bower bird's nest - see photos. Be careful not to disturb it. Look out for all the blue bottle caps and other blue stuff. Therefore come in from the end of the road. Gets a favourite.

Found more quickly than expected thanks to the previous logs. For me GZ was out by 12m, and the cache has been inadvertently been hidden less than 2m from a Bowerbirds nest. It was magical to see both the iconic nest and the bird itself bringing in a BLUE wrapper. PLEASE come into GZ from behind, park side, so that the nest is not accidentally destroyed ie: keep away from the BLUE bottle tops. See SPOILER photo. Quick find and quick retrieve from all the bushes surrounding the main tree. Cache found above head height. TFTC InnocentApple.

Found after about 10 minutes and with a bit of luck. Searching high and low and was about to give up when I turned around and there it was. TFTC

What I thought would be a simple park and grab turned into a lengthy search with the published coordinates sitting slap bang in the middle of the road. Eventually found the little bugger 12m out in the 117th place I looked. Suggest the CO update coordinates. TNLNSL TFTC

Joint {FTF} with Hyper_V. More to followThere I was opening my laptop on a Saturday morning to checks emails for the past few days. There were a couple of newly published geocaches, less than an hour old. I figured that I'd head down there, as I'd likely meet other geocachers, if not get a FTF.I arrived at GZ of the other cache to find mtrax already searching, without much luck. We both had a bit of a search, then headed down to this cache. We searched for a good twenty minutes, to no avail. mtrax was in touch with the CO who was sending some photos as hints. After having no luck, we went back the hill and met up with Hyper_V, who had worked out where the other cache was. It was not easy to reach, but we managed to retrieve it, then headed back down here. After we'd been searching for a while, Hyper_V reflected on the name of the previous geocache. This got me thinking about the name of this geocache. So I started looking in an entirely different direction than the photos from the CO had indicated. After only a few minutes, I located the cache. Sadly, mtrax had given up by then, so Hyper_V and I shared the FTF.Thanks for the cache, InnocentApple
