It was only after I got home from the Kaiapoi Cycling Group ride last Monday that I discovered that the early problems with this had been attended to. Had I known it at the time I would have stopped by as the ride took us all right along the southern boundary of the forest and right past this cache. After learning of the publication of MPM's latest Cycleocache: Shortest Cycleway cache I went on a ride this afternoon to sign off that one and another cache before heading to sign off this one and ride home via the forest and Spencerpark. It was a nice quick find due to the very good coordinates. Thanks for placing your first cache Ryan. I look forward to finding more. Cheers..

18:43 FITW Maus1Well, certainly an interesting (in some ways, maybe not the usual way) cache here. After my first attempt on the publishing night, I saw that other people were starting to find this, so today me and Maus1 stopped to have a look while on a multi-mission.Found with no issues this time, however, there's much that can be improved with this hide. I guess we all have to start somewhere... Just a friendly reminder to CO, when hiding a cache, it is useful to think about the following, among others:*Cache longevity - is the hide likely to stay in place and not get found by accident by people or animals.*Is the container weatherproof and appropriate for the chosen place? E.g. Try and think how would the cache fare after a big rainstorm went over this place.*Meaningful description and cache name - maybe a few sentences about what's the idea behind the cache or what is the place it's hidden in/next to.P.S. These coordinates might be a bit more accurate S43 28.184 E172 41.814#10711

A new log book come back and write your name in it

25-Mar-24
Well, watching this one after publication has certainly provided some fun. Glad I didn't go out at 11pm on publication day as I was tempted to, a suspiciously easy find with iviss_xx today. Not quite sure why the second log book has been added - I usually find signing once to be enough for me! Tftc

Hint has been updated sorry for the bad hint

FTF Curiosity got the better of us. We just had to go and see what we could find. Looked in a few wrong places and then we noticed a different one. There it was safe and sound. Thanks RR22222

I was out on my usual afternoon walk when I remembered there was a cache published here recently, I was casually looking around when I was luckily joined by another pair of cachers. One of them made the find and they luckily had a pen so I was able to sign the log and continue with my walk. Tftc!

Bit of strange activity on this cache just after publication so Gummi_Venus and I came by to investigate. As we pulled up, we saw jessdaphne already on the hunt. After the exchanging of cache names, we joined the search. Didnt take too long. It was about 15m from GZ in a fairly obvious spot. Not well hidden but it was there. I fear this one may not last long. A magnet would go a long way here.

23-Mar-24
IT IS STILL THERE

I'm sorry, but the only find on this is an obviously fake account. An account that has been created on the same day, has a blank profile and no finds but this cache. And is named **dfesfsdfs** !?Cache owner, no offence meant, but your cache might be missing, please check on it in person instead of posting fake found logs. Also, please have a check on your cache coordinates, as it's possible they might not be accurate.I had another good look after posting my first log, and I expanded the search area quite a bit.

Add me to the DNF list. It is still dark, but I have a good torch and explored at length. Just some rubbish and spiderwebs, as if no one had touch things for some time. Maybe we are in a parallel universe?

Found it that one was a fun one

FTDNFUnfortunately I will have to be the first to DNF.Saw a new publication and decided to go for a nightly drive. I've looked all around GZ, and the objects visible in the picture, but nothing so far. Will have another sweep and then call it a night...
