Logs
I spent the day around the North Haven and Semaphore area grabbing some caches along the way. Perfect Spring sunny day to be out geocaching. A nice little trail with a bit of variety in hides. All found without problems. Thank you withoutaname, for placing Mutton Cove Ships Graveyard number 1 for the geocaching community.# # #15280 # #
Apologies for a very late log! Naughtybunny and I spent the day out exploring the Port Adelaide / North haven area and caching. We made it right up the top here and this was a series I was looking forward to as I love the odd shipwreck. Hmmm. Nothing. Was I missing something? Couldn't see any shipwreck. I guess the fence here was sturdy and shiny and there was the odd bit of rubbish. The cache was found pretty quickly considering the size. TNLN. Cheers.
This a new account but I found this cache with my mum (EmsDan1315) and my brother (maggies123) on 10-7-2024. TFTC.
TFTC, the hint is very accurate. Theres no room left in the log book, may need a new one.
A change in weather has us changing direction for todays caching adventure with Mattycat, after collecting a FTF near Owen we ventured down along the coast collecting the odd cache either of us needed, before we were knew it we were down in Port Adelaide and heading up into LeFevre Peninsula, a little graveyard trail had us back down checking out the changes down here since our last visit quick find for us todayTFTC withoutaname
Found at 12:10 pm on a day caching with LunaStrangely, the last log I saw was Malco!'s.I like how there's a hole in the fence nearby
Visiting old haunts today. Nice to see new caches in this area. Thanks, withoutaname
The nano series or nano rant series, all bloody nanos were found and sign, no more bloody nanos to be made ever in the worldToday having the day off, I headed north to find some new caches out around the peninsula and port AdelaideThanks for the cache
With a couple of hours to spare, I headed out to Outer Harbour to locate a series of caches along a very busy road. Coordinates were all spot on, allowing for quick finds. Thanks for the cache withoutaname!
Found and signed after using tweezers to remove log. Thank you for placing this series for us to find. Only had time to do a couple this afternoon but will be back for the rest. TFTC
Sparkie and Goldy are back and out caching. A nice little birthday celebration for Goldy.I ended up with 6 smiles for my birthday.I enjoyed the walk along the trail. I've always loved this spot and loved having the opportunity to find some caches here on my special day.We tried our best to write our names in all the log books. Sometimes we had to resort to our initials.A nice quick find here. Nice work on this series. Thanks withoutaname for this traditional cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 4116 on the 12th of April 2024.I appreciate all the CO's who spend time and resources contributing to the Geocaching game board.Shoutout to the reviewers who dedicate time to make sure our game is safe and enjoyable.I look forward to attending GCACHF8 in Sydney in early 2025. Hope to see plenty of people there!
Time for another Tuesday Trek, this time it was back to three Confused Puzzlers. After picking up the Rat from her nest it was off to a cache in Alberton to meet up with the Starfish. Then it was off for a pleasant day caching mainly from the list but as it was a short list some were added as required. Some we all wanted, some only some of us wanted but all were wanted. I was very happy to significantly reduce my number of traditionals within 42K of home. Unfortunately there was one DNF.I was busy fielding a PAF call while the Rat and Starfish found this SOS.Thanks to withoutaname for adding to the playing field with this cache.Cache #14801 for me.*This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).*
Something special or unusual goes here:Once again the Rat sniffed this out after I walked straight past it. Coming back the GPS settled on 0 metres. The Generic Bit:Back from the Capital Geobash Adventure it was tome to catch up with the puzzles published whilst away. The usual trio of puzzle solvers set out on their usual Tuesday trek in search of puzzles ad anything else they came across. [ The usual laughs and a picnic lunch. ***Thanks withoutaname for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
Time for a Tuesday Trek, for 3 confused geocachers.Plan was for ttrogg to pick up the Rat from her nest. Then head down to meet up with the Starfish. The Rat scurried up to the cache. We stamped the log and replaced. Tftc
Another clever cache and hide. Thanks for our exercise and entertainment for the morning. Without a name.
Thanks withoutaname for placing a fresh set of caches in the area. I was using the car today to find these, which was probably not the best plan. Still, it is easter sunday, so only me and the birds out here at dawn. Quick find and sign. Find #9478 at 7.21am
And a bike ride from Port Adelaide to the Outer Harbor area.It took me a bit, but I got it.
Took us a few minutes to spot although after this we knew what we were looking for with most of the series. All had excellent coordinates!!
Theres been a bit of chat about these new caches out on the Peninsula, so had to head this way tonight after work for a look see And this is the last of the tiny ones today TFTC
One of five Mutton Cove Ships Graveyard caches logged today. They came up in conversation at this mornings event, and given that you dont need a canoe to access any wrecks, I put them on my list. I enjoy coming out this way, and today was a perfect morning for it, but the unexpected bonus was that I finally got to see the Expressway bridge over the Port River go up and down on the way there. First time! Thanks for the cache and the series withoutaname.
Out with Normanville for some caching along the peninsula. Fortunately wasnt too much traffic along the road as we drove to each cache. Tftc
After the early morning events I thought I'd swing down and clean up this new series. Most were quickly found and I met up with a couple of likely types as I made my way around.TFTC
Cache found as the last in the series. It is on the other side for leaving. Again I spotted the cable tie before the cache.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Found it After yesterday's FTF's I had more time to come and get the rest of the series, parked up far away to get in some exercise. I deliberately drove past this one yesterday due to it's location and not having time due to a prior engagement. An easy find here today.TFTC withoutaname
Saw some new cache on the peninsula, so swung by...Love exploring these wrecks...Relatively quick find of the wee cache...Dropped my *FTF* geocoin through approx 2230hrs.TNLNSL Thanks
