Quite a desolate location but a cache is just the trick. Thanks withoutaname for the clever hide.
I spent the day around the North Haven and Semaphore area grabbing some caches along the way. Perfect Spring sunny day to be out geocaching. A nice little trail with a bit of variety in hides. All found without problems. A favourite point from me. Thank you withoutaname, for placing Mutton Cove Ships Graveyard number 5 for the geocaching community.# # #15284 # #
This a new account but I found this cache with my mum (EmsDan1315) and my brother (maggies123) on 10-7-2024. TFTC.
A change in weather has us changing direction for todays caching adventure with Mattycat, after collecting a FTF near Owen we ventured down along the coast collecting the odd cache either of us needed, before we were knew it we were down in Port Adelaide and heading up into LeFevre Peninsula, a little graveyard trail had us back down checking out the changes down here since our last visit quick find for us todayTFTC withoutaname
Master 7 decided to help me search for this one. Clue, the clue! Thomas took a little to catch on, but soon saw locked his eyes on the cache.Very cleverTFTC

With a couple of hours to spare, I headed out to Outer Harbour to locate a series of caches along a very busy road. Coordinates were all spot on, allowing for quick finds. Thanks for the cache withoutaname!
Sparkie and Goldy are back and out caching. A nice little birthday celebration for Goldy.I ended up with 6 smiles for my birthday.I enjoyed the walk along the trail. I've always loved this spot and loved having the opportunity to find some caches here on my special day.Sparkie had the right idea here. Cool cache. Log signed. Thanks withoutaname for this traditional cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 4113 on the 12th of April 2024.I appreciate all the CO's who spend time and resources contributing to the Geocaching game board.Shoutout to the reviewers who dedicate time to make sure our game is safe and enjoyable.I look forward to attending GCACHF8 in Sydney in early 2025. Hope to see plenty of people there!
Something special or unusual goes here:A nice quick find spotted from where we parked. The Generic Bit:Back from the Capital Geobash Adventure it was tome to catch up with the puzzles published whilst away. The usual trio of puzzle solvers set out on their usual Tuesday trek in search of puzzles ad anything else they came across. [ The usual laughs and a picnic lunch. ***Thanks withoutaname for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
Time for another Tuesday Trek, this time it was back to three Confused Puzzlers. After picking up the Rat from her nest it was off to a cache in Alberton to meet up with the Starfish. Then it was off for a pleasant day caching mainly from the list but as it was a short list some were added as required. Some we all wanted, some only some of us wanted but all were wanted. I was very happy to significantly reduce my number of traditionals within 42K of home. Unfortunately there was one DNF.The Starfish had spotted this one on the drive past to a couple of caches closer to the water so it was a very quick find when we came back to get our names in this log as well. Thanks to withoutaname for adding to the playing field with this cache.Cache #14797 for me.*This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).*
Time for a Tuesday Trek, for 3 confused geocachers.Plan was for ttrogg to pick up the Rat from her nest. Then head down to meet up with the Starfish.A quick find for the trio of confused Geocachers. Stamped the logbook and replaced as found. Tftc
In Adelaide over from Melbourne for gather round, checking out the scenery. Saw this cache nearby and couldnt resist.TFTC
Looks like a new cachet, hide. Very welcomed and Thankyou for helping us enjoy this outdoor activity. Easy pick up.Thanks without a mane
Thanks withoutaname for placing a fresh set of caches in the area. I was using the car today to find these, which was probably not the best plan. Still, it is easter sunday, so only me and the birds out here at dawn. Quick find and sign, container found on the ground, the book and bag arrangement will not let it stay where it is. Find #9482 at 8.06am
Out hunting with BabBabScott on Easter Sunday. TFTC, being stalked by MSS security.
Taking a bite ride from Port Adelaide to the Outer Harbor area.No problems finding this one.
Theres been a bit of chat about these new caches out on the Peninsula, so had to head this way tonight after work for a look see Found the container and log both lying in the ground, which is blimmn disappointing.Stamped the log and placed the container back on the structure it was lying next too - appeared to stay in place TFTC
One of five Mutton Cove Ships Graveyard caches logged today. They came up in conversation at this mornings event, and given that you dont need a canoe to access any wrecks, I put them on my list. I enjoy coming out this way, and today was a perfect morning for it, but the unexpected bonus was that I finally got to see the Expressway bridge over the Port River go up and down on the way there. First time! Thanks for the cache and the series withoutaname.Leaving a FP for the series here.
Out with Normanville for some caching along the peninsula. Fortunately wasnt too much traffic along the road as we drove to each cache. Tftc
The gate was open this morning. It was tempting to go for a cruise and check out the area. Or get arrested for trespass.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. After the early morning events I thought I'd swing down and clean up this new series. Most were quickly found and I met up with a couple of likely types as I made my way around.TFTC
Found it ??*FTF* @ 18:13A quick run up the peninsula with not enough time to look for all of them in the series due to a prior engagement. Went straight to the end as I knew parking would be easy. Expected so see some of the other geocachers in the area, but none in sight. TFTC withoutaname
Saw some new cache on the peninsula, so swung by...Love exploring these wrecks...A very quick find of the cache in the obvious spot.....TNLNSL Thanks
