After riding my bike for 3.5 hours over 45km of varied terrain, and claiming a first to find on the Voodoo Earth Cache, I proceeded to find this cache before embarking on the long ride home. Thanks for bringing me to this beautifully scenic location and TFTC wazza9
Found with oldmorty. After parking in the nearby car park, oldmorty and I made our way to GZ.Managed to duck down behind a rock, out of the wind, to sign the log. Thanks to wazza9 for hiding this cache
What a great location and what a pleasant surprise to be able to drive on a bitumen road nearly all the way to gz. The 44 kph SE wind that was blowing certainly wasn't conducive for surfing, but it didn't stop frazeydaze from finding a cache. I couldn't see anything with the whipped up seespray on my glasses. Cache all good. SLRC as found. TFTC and thanks for showing us this great location which we wouldn't have found without geocaching.
Happy I made the effort to find this today after missing its release by a matter of hours when I was out finding one very nearby! Strangely, I found myself searching for that other one today by accident, being sure I had already picked up a cache in that area. It was an embarrassing length of time before I realised I was looking for the wrong one. My brain was not on fire today Glad to pick this one up today, and also glad to miss the rain from all angles. Lucky day!
Have passed by these two caches many times since they were first released so it was great to come and claim this duo on a Fathers Day Lego family stroll! Thanks for placing these in this beautiful part of the World.
(4 of 5 today)Was after five for the calendar, and with an event in Kyeemagh I did what I rarely do and cached close to the area I'd visited the day before - for another event.Grabbed four in The Shire before I turned my eyes north to the event.###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###Not quite sure how I managed it, but checked the wrong side of the obvious hide first. and of course found nothing. Slightly relocated for that headslap moment.Completed signing duties and replaced.Then... do I have time for one more? Maybe, but I'm very good at doing "Just one more" and having it turn into a looooooong search.Event it is.SLTNLNTFTC
Another nicely hidden cache, in a vast expanse of nothingness. I thought I saw a spout as I gazed into the water but can't be sure as nothing further eventuated. Great spot.
Awesome hiding spot. Had a great day out at Cape Baily lighthouse, spotting dozens of whales. TFTC
The sea was angry today, and the wind was as sharp as a well honed knife as it cut through my clothes, brrrr! An easy find, great views, thanks.
Wow! We're so glad we came out to find this cache. This is one of the most spectacular locations we've visited in a long time. We arrived not too long before sunset and the colours in the sky reflected onto the startlingly white rock and standing puddles of water was spectacular. And we even spotted a whale breaching in the distance.A favorite point because we really enjoyed visiting this location! Thanks for find #6202TNLN
A bit of a Kurnell run this afternoon for a few caches. Such a nice spot and somewhere you could sit all day and watch the waves, enjoy the surrounds and view the planes coming in to land. TFTC!
After golf was rained out, what also to do, but go geocaching. In between showers, very windy, GPS settled down aand made a quick find. Stamped log and replaced. Thanks to CO
Quick find while pottering around The Shire today. This place has awesome views of the coastal sandstone cliffs, and back along the beaches to Cronulla. TFTC wazza9
This was published when I was at my event last evening, with the CO present. I wasn't going to rush out and leave my guests so waited until today. I'm glad I came in daylight, as the views near GZ are very spectacular. On approach to the cache, I could see the only possible option, and after removing the SPOR, I had CIH. After replacing it, I headed to the edge to take in the sights. On this glorious sunny day, they were even more impressive. Have a FP. TFTC
This is so strange, this did not appear in the app for me today when I was out and found the other new one very close by by the same owner. I wonder why that is? I need to look into that. Will need to grab this one next time.
