Day 35 of our Enzed adventures with Robmc and today travelled from wellington to Napier and after settling in we went for a look about. The ducks were so welcoming we were sorry we didn't have some food for them. Thanks for contributing to an amazing holiday
Day thirty four of our epic New Zealand Adventure with The Morris.Wandering around Napier today, a few AdLab stages and a few caches.Just checking out the Art Deco town.A slightly cloudy day, but nice caching weather. Someone is certainly feeding the ducks, they were upon us before we had found the cache.Sat and chatted with them for a while. Thanks, Robmc.
I was not sure about this one but kept at it. The hint made sense after the find. Thanks
Decent area to cover here which are some of my favourites, so a few minutes before we finally zeroed in on the sneaky hide, helped to have placed one like this myself! Cheers
Back for a second look today and found reasonably quickly, was under a bit of foliage, which was why I must have missed it last time. Thanks for placing this cache and bringing me here.
No luck today. Had to avoid the mother of all dog poos as well as the rubbish left by the alcoholics and drug-users. Otherwise GZ is a beautiful area.
Second find if the morning before breakfast, all good here and replaced as found.A weekend away in Napier is in the cards for me this weekend, my daughter has been invited to a baby shower and asked if I wanted to come to Hawkes Vat for company, caching and general hanging out. Always keen for a road trip I booked a works bach for the weekend and we met up and headed over after work on Friday.Saturday dawned clear but frost free so a few samples were made here and there, now and then, with some DNFs weaved throughout. Many thanks to all CO s for their hides.
A quick little overnight trip to Hawkes Bay and then up to Taup and back home to find some Adventure Labs and to hopefully qualify for the S39 Challenge.Found by feel more than anything in the dark. All good here, and thank you to KazchacherKaren for the placement of your Traditional Cache.Find #6685 at 26 April 2024 6:33pm
We have found a cache here previously....... but it was on the little island and you had to wade through the water to get it!! Glad this one was a lot more simple to get. Found pretty quickly which is good as there are many spots it could have been. Thank you KazchacherKaren for placing this cache.Log signed as B&PFind number 5189
I have accompanied matagouri on an overnight work trip to Napier, so today I get to head out to grab whatever caches I can within walking distance, while he's busy working! It was a beautiful sunny, but slightly cool morning, which was ideal for my wander around. This seemed like a good spot for bit of a sit down and a drink, while casually snaffling another cache. Thanks for putting this here
Noticed some new caches in Naiper, so I decided to hunt some down. This was first on my list as it hadn't been found yet. Didn't take long to find and log was blank. It's been awhile since Iv'e had a FTF. Feed the birds while I was here too. Cheers
