Thanks team DBKby3 for the cache. Found with team Adinache as I had left my phone at home for the day. I overlooked the spot initially and found it on the second try. Cache is in good condition
Out and about with Pollythecollie. There were a few spiders guarding the cache. Needed stick to prise it out of the webs.
Headed down to Augusta today en route to WAGB24 via a heap of backroads and country towns. Left home early this morning with huge distances to cover and huge numbers of caches to chase down.A great days caching and a few more milestones ticked over! Thanks for the cache - please excuse the generic log.
Down in the amazing South West region enjoying all thats on offer. Managed to spend 4 days in Busselton and 4 days in Augusta. WAGB is always a holiday in my years planning and this was no different. Looking forward to seeing all the teams make it down to WAGB this year in Augusta as well as finding all the amazing Caches that have been placed by the locals for all to find.
Will be looking forward to coming back here during spring time to see the spider Orchids. Thanks for this one.
TaurusSix and I went on a geocaching circuit today. The aim was to undertake maintenance on several of our existing cache hides , a few had gone missing. As well as maintenance we also aimed to collect as many new and straggler caches along the way as practical . We left Bunbury and headed to the Dardanup Bakery first up , why not it was Sunday morning after all, after we had filled up on wonderful produce we headed to Boyanup, Donnybrook , Cardiff , Collie and Burekup before coming the full circuit back to Bunbury. A pleasant and productive local circuit for the day . The day started wet and showery but the sun soon came out and it was nice and sunny for the rest of the day right until the end when it started to rain again . We did several pleasant short walks for the day and all in all Avery good day of geocaching was had. This was our fourth cache find of the day and the third new one in the Donnybrook area . We drove towards gz and was quite surprised at the suburb and new housing being built near by. We parked up and took the final stroll to gz. Once again birds everywhere which always makes our day. once we neared gz we realised we could have come from a different direction and actually drive to the gz. Never mind the exercise will do us good . The Cache was quickly found , logged and replaced . Thanks for the cache DBKby3 .
Another road trip with the Mics team finding caches that have been on our list for awhile or just been seen as we pass by. Thanks for placing to add to the enjoyment of today. Signed Mics.
With the WA Day public holiday fast approaching, the call went out to the team to see who would be up for a day out. SirFancy, I C Nothing, and monkeywand were available to join me, and we decided to head down south towards Donnybrook. There was plenty of cache variety for the adults and a decent playground and bakery for lunch for the junior members of the team.We met up early in the day in Baldivis. With the ping of a new cache, we piled back into the cars and headed for Lakelands. After a quick find, we hit the road and headed to our caching area of operations. We started out by collecting a bunch of caches around Donnybrook before stopping for lunch and letting the kids have a run around. After lunch, we cleaned up the last few in town before winding our way through Boyanup, Dardanup, and Brunswick Junction. We arrived home just as the sun was going down, having been on the road for nearly 10 hours, covering close to 400 km, and collecting 41 finds, 5 adventure labs, and 8 DNFs.Thanks go to DBKby3 for placing and maintaining the Traditional cache Lions Wildflower Walk Trail for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 11:09 on 3/6/2024.This is find number 8979 for me.
