We always appreciate a good field puzzle that has a TOTT nearby. The little bunny made a hasty retreat as 8 legs begrudgingly came up with the bison and it was up to Dad to do the signing honours before replacing. TFTC.

04-Oct-24

Suscoe decided to head out for a morning of caching before the weather deteriorated today. It was windy and cold with a good bit of cloud about. It was great to catch up on a few caches around Geelong that have been out for a while. Thanks to BeeRam3216 for this hide. A nice variation. No rabbits spotted today. The Council did a serious bit of eradication work over near the Waurn Ponds creek a while ago and it seems to have made a serious dent in the local population.

Headed out to do a bit of rabbit cache hunting on my lunchbreak today. No luck at #5 - will have to come back when I have more time to search. Should probably have left the car hear that one, rather than follow Google Maps to the #6 location where I then had to drive along a bit further and around a corner before I could park. However, I spotted the cache quickly on approach to the GZ and after a few attempts was able to retrieve it with the help of the nearby ToTT. Signed semi-illegibly as weather is too cold for my pen, and returned everything as found. TFTC BeeRam3216.

On the way back home from the giant shed down the road, I convinced the geokids to make a quick stop for this new cache. The cache was easily spotted upon approach and the kids had a fun time trying to work how to access the log with the found tool. In the end, no tool was required and the log was signed and replaced. TFTC.

FTFWhen you are jumping in the car to head to work and you receive a notification that a new cache has been published along a road that you are going to drive along this morning, of course I was going to stop and take a quick look!I thought there was a chance some other local cachers would beat me to it today, but after seeing the empty log book, was thrilled to find it blank!Super easy find, was slightly concerned that i didn't bring the TOTT, but found one at GZ without any issues.TFTC

I knew I had no chance of being first to this one but surprised that I was 2nd after several hours. That was very well made & interesting. I saw 2 TOTT but only needed 1. A favourite from me. Nicely done.
