In Feiling to find some caches before my Coffee Before Dunedin Mega event. Thanks P n E for the cache.
It didn't take too long to spot this cache, although retrieving it was a little nerve racking. TFTC
I hadn't planned on being up in the Manawatu this weekend, but a casual invite from my kiwi family was all it took to have me jumping into the car yesterday. This morning they had plans of their own, so I headed up to Feilding to spend an hour or so just caching. This particular series of Trads was published whilst I was overseas, so it was good to have a look for them today. This second one was another straightforward find at GZ. This one already had a baggie to protect the log, so I simply added my name to it and replaced it all as found, with the addition of another TB for someone else to discover.Thank you for creating this one.
Having spent the morning with family in Wanganui, it was time to start heading back home to Wellington. But as usual, especially during the warmer months, I took the long way in order to gather up some as yet unfound geocaches. This was one that I found today.Apparently I did these in the reverse backwards wrong order, but no matter, I thought of it more of a countdown. No trouble finding this one once I looked at the right angle. Had to be carful during the retrieval and replacement process.---Thanks to P n E for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.
#15,549. Park, walk and grab on West Street at Harford Street in Feilding. The GZ was fortunately all quiet at the time of our visit. Relatively quick find. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.*Thanks for the geocache placement, and for bringing us to this site, and **.T h a n k s. .f o r. .t h e. .c a c h e.**.M a u r u u r u. .k o e. .n u i. .a t u. .h o k i. .t e. .k e t e r o k i.*---### LET US HAVE A BLOCK PARTY!!! ###On **May 3rd, 2025**, we will be celebrating 25 years of geocaching in **Rotorua, New Zealand** with a special **Block Party** event. Macfam41 found it while Mrs Macfam was competing at the nearby dog obedience competition with geo dog Southridge Laird of Kinlochaline. After a quick look around the cache was easliy to hand. TFTC.
Well done another nice find for us signed the log and placed it where found gets a favorite from us being one of your first caches placed.
All good here as Niagara falls passed us by. T F T Ctommygun9 and I were keen for a (almost monthly) caching catch up, and a ladder exped was mentioned, I was keen! After a day at work we met up in Feilding town with 4 potential ladder cache climbs on the list. Alas, no caches were found with a 4 mentioned ladder, but one had to foot boost elevated tg9 to new heights on one find. Thanks to the COs for their hides.
After the short walk from No. 1 this cache was quickly spotted at the first place I looked (second place I felt).T F T C P n E.Capperz and I discussed a few caches in Feilding and formed a plan for this afternoon. Thankfully the weather was in on the plan because it rained heavily this morning and during one drive between caches. We found four of the five caches we tried and took my ladder for a walk. I also found one more on my drive out of Fielding afterwards.
Thanks P&E!! Needed a bit of help finding it, and they helped me find it. Thanks a lot!Michaiah S
Unfortunately it's starting to rain so I put my hiviz coat on and people probably thought just a worker A fp

Today is my rostered Friday to provide tech support to the Feilding office. And you know what that means... lunchtime caching! I was surprised how quickly I found this cache after my troubles with the previous one in this series.I think a silver version of this container would blend in better with the host, but I'm happy to claim the find anyway! Thanks P n E
Found with geodatum after our FTF mission in Kitchener Park.George found it with falling in TNLNSL TFTC
A somewhat dismal day for us was certainly brightened when we received an invitation from searchSteve to join him on a FTF hunt in Feilding - he even picked us up a little way along the route which was much appreciated. We had a successful trip in good company, getting not just the FTF but a few other caches as well - thanks very much Steve. We came on to here from Kitchener Park and all three caches along the disappearing creek fortunately appeared for us.The suitable objects where the hint could apply narrowed the search and the cache was soon located by being felt/heard before it was sighted. As dad and I walk on Mondays I saw these pop up and wanted to leave them until after I reach my 9000 but couldn't help myself so on my way back I managed to snag 2 of the 3, thanks for the placement much enjoyed doing them in the dark so no need to be wary on who was around. - I had to put the headlamp on for this one and soon spotted so also made for a quick find the misty rain was thankfully not too bad.
We were in Palmerston North when this cache was published and figured we would not get back to Feilding in time for a [FTF]. later in the afternoon dad checked his email and saw that no.2 was published and that no.1 had not been found. me, Cacheclaws and Dadandkidsnz went to find this joint FTF. with me in the front navigating we found 1,2, and 3 first. after we found 1 and 2 we went to the cache owners place and swapped puzzle answers. while we were there no.3 was published. cache was already damp.thank you P n E for this cachewell done on hiding your second cache
I had been given a 'heads-up' that there could be a new cache popping up in Feilding this afternoon, but was busy finding some Waymarks and taking photos. When I checked out the geocaching app I couldn't tell which was a new cache, so had to wait to get on my laptop to check out the closest caches by age.Parked the van just up the road, and under the neighbour's watchful eye I saw the cache beneath my son's feet; only to find that some locals had snuck on in. That is the life of a tourist! Found 1620, Saturday, 27 July. Thanks PnE
[FTF] at 1606.We were in Palmerston North when when No1 cache was published and figured we would not get back to Feilding in time for a FTF. During the afternoon I checked and saw this cache has been published and No1 was still unfound. So it was a call the kids, wanna do some joint FTFs. So we raced out the driveway toward GZ. At GZ two kids from each end of the host object started search (with a tad bit of squabbling, awaking a neighbor). But soon Dad saw the container under Cacheclaws who with some instructions got it. We signed it, then the kids had to distract the neighbor by running up and down the footpath while I sneaked the container back into place, then we raced off to No 1. Thanks P N E, well done with your first caches.DadandKidsNZ
