Found it! After finding a cache down the way, we wandered along the path to find this one. It as a quick find once looking in the correct spot. Very cute container. All good here. TFTC SL
Was very fun, trekked around for a bit in the bushes before we found it but very cute cache
What nicer way to spend Cup Day than taking a walk. Have not been along this section before and really enjoying area except to the bike traffic. Thanks QueenK8. Cache in good condition. Thanks for bringing me here.
Enjoying the glorious spring weather, I went bike caching along the Mullum Mullum trail. There were surprisingly few muggles about which made for an easier time. A short excursion amongst the undergrowth and a likely place was spotted. A cute cache guardian here, well camouflaged. All in good dry condition. TFTC QueenK8
Out caching with one of pinnacle333 in the Heathmont/Ringwood area. This took a little searching to find, but was well worth it when we made the find. It made us smile. Thanks QueenK8.
Out doing the Mullum Trail with echidna44 the trees played a bit of havoc with my GPS. After scrambling around in the undergrowth the neatly hidden cute cache presented itself. TFTC QueenK8
I decided to take full advantage of the lovely weather today and fit in a spot of caching. I spied these newish ones and decided to make the trek over to Ringwood. I decided to tackle the next one by driving to this and then backtracking down the path for the rest in this section. Thank you QueenK8 for placing and maintaining Ringwood Ramble - Oban Road for us to find today.
It was finally a really nice warm day so we headed out on the scooters for a ride along this lovely trail. Surprisingly with such good weather the trail was not that busy which was good for us. With 3 of us we could easily hide what we were doing as well. This took us a good 5 minutes to find. The items in the hint we a bit smaller than I was expecting so went all over the place before finally spotting it.Thanks QueenK8 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
This was a another of the Ringwood Rambles ticked off. Thanks for placing this cache for all to enjoy.
Horrible weather for caching but after attending an Event in the City I detoured on my way home to collect this smillie. TFTC
Another one in this great series completed, another calendar door filled. Cute cache container. TFTC QuennK8
*Found on the 15 Sep 2024 @ 12:22PM.**Cache find # 15791.* I made a return to this series today as there were a couple I missed and a number of others that I didnt get too last time as I had run out of time. This one had me going in circles for a little while has I had resorted to the hint and I was looking for a bit more of a stump than what I ended up finding, but I got there in the end with a signed log.**Thanks to QueenK8 for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**
Much better looking for this on a weekday. Weekend bike riders were gathered nearby and would not move on when we came looking on a Saturday. Thanks for the cache.
Having been away for a few months, I was delighted to see that a new trail had popped up on one of my favorite walking paths. This cute little aquatic creature was found speedily.
Thanks QueenK8. Quick find, hopefully the first of a few more. Turtle power. Giddy up
I have been eyeing this little cluster of QueenK8 hide for a while and today is the day TFTC
Found with icw. I approve of the CO's excellent taste in cache guardians . Tftc.
It was a beautiful day today, perfect for geocaching. The Ringwood Ramble is an easy drive from home so I was hopeful of finding a few today and putting some smileys on the map. I enjoyed the walk along the Mullum Mullum creek trail. I made this one much harder than it should have been chasing the hint rather than the coords and entered the area from up near the road rather than walking along the trail for a bit. The cache itself was pretty cool albeit buried, but the telltale signs only a cacher would understand were there, like a beacon leading to the prize. Thanks QueenK8 for placing the cache.
Coordinates changed from:S 37 47.757 E 145 15.043Coordinates changed to:S 37 47.761 E 145 15.040Distance from original: 28.3 feet or 8.6 meters. The cache is in the same location but the coordinates have been updated to be more accurate. The cache container has been changed to make it easier to find
Thanks for updating the coordinates. These seem to be spot on and found on the way through the area after playing Dad's taxi today. Thanks.
Searched for ages beside every tree and stump in the vicinity. As previous logs have stated the coords are out I included a wide area but couldn't see it anywhere. Giving up before damaging the vegetation further. Please fix coords to avoid causing more damage to the area.
I am on a very pleasant bike ride on a beautiful near spring morning finding caches. Thanks QueenK8 for giving me the reason.
Checked every tree and stump - given coordinates are out it might be worth the CO visiting.
The gps was a little out but once we realised this may be the case , we looked further afield . A sneaky little hide TFTC
A little cold to be out this morning but blue skies. A few muggles to be aware of but these did not prove to be a issue. This was the last cache for day and the search took some time. We found it about 5+ m from where our phones indicated the cache should be. All good in the end. Thanks to QueenK8 for the cache.

Caches found: 24DNFs: 0Distance Rambled: 18.8 km**Apologies in advance for this generic log on the Rambling series caches**As a budding FTF hound I watched in angst as this new series launched. Work, travel and life commitments prevented me hunting these down. I have been waiting for a break in the madness and decided to cancel all my Friday afternoon meetings to set out on a geo-adventure. I contemplated whether to bike or foot the series. I decided on the ramble and set out by foot from home around 2pm and arrived back 7hrs later. I hadn't had time for lunch so grabbed a Grill'd burger on the way to the first cache. A few work calls on the way from the burger and then I was able to collect the solved puzzle near Douglas Maggs Reserve. Everything went smoothly on the trail despite a hiccup at the 'Bridges and Totem' multi-cache. My co-ordinates were slightly out but the hint helped narrow down GZ and after some searching the cache was found. Through the Mullum pedestrian tunnel and it was now getting quite dark so I decided on grabbing GJMMelb's nightcache. I had a lot of trouble here with the reflectors so it wasn't until 40min later that I was able to continue the journey. Over to Ringwood Lake and the first cache near the entrance. I started the adventure lab but decided that it was too dark to enjoy and skipped this for another time. Through to Ringwood East and then gathered another multi-cache on Freeman Street, then on to Linear Park, collecting clues for the final. Now for the trudge home. Airpods in and music blazing I completely forgot to gather the solved puzzle at Burnt Creek. Will have to return for this one. What a fantastic way to end my week. Happy birthday QueenK8 and thank you so much for the series. I'm sorry I couldn't come to your birthday Geo-event in Bayswater today, but I was too busy finding your caches!
In the area prior to the Birthday celebrations so I had time to find the rest of the Ringwood Ramble caches. It was good not to have to drive miles for once to get a few caches. This is one of the caches found today. This one took some time to find, the gps had me 7m away at another tree. Thanks QueenK8 for the cache.
Well this fellow had us wandering in circles, upon circles upon circles until we decided to move on with our ramble and perhaps return to this one on our way back....which is exactly what we did. But even then we were unsuccessful and after a further futile search we decided to call it quits with our tails well and truly between our legs and our heads hanging down in defeat. Just as we were having a last mutter over it OZHockeyChick and Geoturtle37 arrived to commence their rambling. We joined in the search and lo and behold within a matter of seconds Geoturtle37 came up with the cache! Unbelievable.....and just a tad embarassing when we saw where it was....where we had thought we looked but obviously not seen!!! sigh........Thanks for this series QueenK8
Today I went out for another cache hunt with Redcb, and geodog, Pilot. We always have a good time, and this series provided us with a pleasant walk, and interesting caches. We searched the area thoroughly, without success, so we moved on to find other caches further along the trail. As we returned to the car, we once again searched for it, before giving up. So there we were, walking up the street, beaten into submission, when we met fellow cachers OHC and Geoturtle37, as they were starting their adventure. We tagged along and were amazed at how Geoturtle37 found the container straight away. Oh! How embarrassing! Thanks for placing these caches, QueenK8, to keep us entertained, and keep our hobby alive.
We figured it was about time we did some of these new local caches. With the sun out and the wind non-existent, today was the perfect opportunity. This was our first one. We met CrustyVarmint and RedcbBlueBM along the way. Apparently they had not been able to find this one. We exchanged pleasantries and they returned with us to see if we could have some luck. It only took a few moments before Geoturtle37 spotted the sneaky blighter. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, QueenK8 ~~
I found this cache on my Mega Walk #29 - a 25,000 step walk through Heathmont, Burnt Bridge and Ringwood. I have now turned around and I am on the track on the way back to Ringwood. Bounced around a bit but I soon spotted it. This was our 213th 3TF. Thanks from D B-A
