Did the legwork and research for this cache a couple of weeks ago one evening after work. Definitely got the heart pumping - did *not* remember Mt Jerra being so steep. Great use of the information at the top of the mountain and nice way to showcase some elements of Queanbeyan's history.Today was the victory march to make the find. Nice use of imagery in the cache title. Wasn't quite what I was expecting, but made sense!TFTC!

Found on a magnificent spring day. I enjoyed the walk to the posted coordinates very much. I saw at least two species of orchid in bloom. I also saw some fairy wrens and some finches, and a host of other birds, some of which were quite chatty. I kept my eye out for snakes, just in case. No snakes seen on either of the bushy walky parts of this cache.I found this multi very challenging. Even when I had calculated the coordinates of GZ, I was doubting my working. One of the buildings was very hard to identify. Or rather, the building has changed so much that I wasn't sure I had the right building.I was very pleased to find the cache after all the physical and mental work. Great feature at GZ.TFTC

#22565 @1325I spent the morning orienteering east of Bungendore. and the afternoon caching, doing a big loop from Queanbeyan south to Honeysuckle, then back north to Belconnen and the city. I did the groundwork for this cache a couple of weeks ago. Today I walked to GZ for a quick find. TFTC.

A fun multi and some good history. Definitely a bush cannon but this one is in Canberra. That said, it's oh so close to Queanbeyan so what does it matter. A good short walk to GZ especially when the gate's open as it would otherwise be longer stroll which was not necessary today. TFTC C10A!

No problems with the multi and a nice find in a familiar bit of ACT bush. All good here with cache and log. Thanks, C10A.

Interesting multi. The final GZ fits the description, including the rock cannon balls. TFTC

Yabba Dabba Doo *FTF* ! Big GrinBig GrinI had eyed this cache off when it came out, gathering the information from the WPs, I was getting an odd GZ which didn't seem on public land, plus there was also the elaborate new AL puzzle to be solved. So for now it had to wait and maybe others had a chance to get it. I reached out to confirm GZ as I was not keen to check it out if it was on private land, plus I could see that with a change to one question this could resolved. The CO replied quickly and resolved the uncertainty by confirming the answer in question. Now could I make it there before the rain, luckily I was one the way already when I saw the dark clouds coming in from the east, otherwise I might have not have gone out again. I managed do the walk to the cache and back to the car before the rain set it. A nice idea for a multi to explore some historical locations around Queanbeyan. Thank you C10A for putting the cache out, maintaining it and contributing to this great hobby we have. Happy trails, Flintstone's
