Today we had a long round trip ahead of us, from Pialba over the old railway line to the pier and back along the coast to Pialba. On the way we found all but one of the caches we were looking for. Two were lying on the ground in the area and could be put back, but unfortunately one could not be retrieved because it was jammed. Overall the caches were in good condition, dry and there was enough space in the logbooks for entries. Thank you for the lovely and informative round!

Last one found for this series so far. I definitely did not enjoy this one. Felt quite exposed and in a block of units garden. Tftc

I am in HB at least 2 times a year and only had about 5 to go before I had finished the area. Oh my excitement to see that I would have something to keep be busy over the next few trips. Only here for one full day. I got up early this morning for the first 10. Two of them I will aim for really early tomorrow morning as I will need to bring the step so I can reach! Therefore, 10 became 8. I drove and parked for most of these. Bit lazy of me, but just wanted to prove it was possible for those who need to know. Lol. By this point in the morning, I decided to try to find them without looking at the hint. Kind of a seesaw balance for driving to them. Really hard to get with so much for traffic. Had to pretend I was doing my gardening and had to resort to the hint so I could be faster with my lurking.

We are in Urangan for a week to house and dog sit, and escape cold Melbourne. I headed out on a bike loaned from the wonderful jaktembo to complete the rail trail caches on a balmy afternoon. Loitered with intent for some muggles to stroll and roll by before diving in and retrieving the neatly placed container. Hummed "Rock the Kasbah" to myself while signing the log. All in good dry condition. TFTC

Another quick and easy find here. Lots of muggles about. Cheers for the series ms_sammii!Today is day two of our Hervey Bay trip, and today I am out on the deadly tredley caching the new series of caches that run from Urangan Pier to the business centre, then back again via the esplanade, picking up a few stray caches and AL waypoints. In the afternoon whilst collecting bait for fishing I was able to go and rectify a nearby DNF.Heading north on a 5-day trip to Hervey Bay with the family has allowed me to go out and cache the surrounding area. I was able to cram the tredley into the back of the warthog and travel north, stopping a few times. Once to maintain a cache, and another to find a cache. I finally set sights on my destination, Torquay. Over the course of the few days I had, I cycled the new rail trail series of geocaches, did a combined day of shelling and caching Point Vernon, took a drive through Booral and River Heads, travelled to Howard, Torbanlea, Toogoom and Dundowran. On the final day I spot cached as I made my way south, stopping in Walligan, Susan River, Beaver Rock and Owanyilla. I then fought the southbound traffic for a while, then detoured via Yengarie and through Tiaro back to the sunny coast. All things considered, a great holiday and a productive one for geocaching! a MASSIVE thank you to all the COs that I found the caches of along the way!

Found at 11.04hrs. Thought it was about time to get some of these M2BRT Caches. Grab the pushies and off we go. Started at 27 and missed a few one way due to muggles but retrieved them on the way back. Love these caches as the co-ords were spot on, hints were great, and all were found in correct paces in good condition. Thanks to ms sammii and the group for all the trouble in setting up these caches. Much appreciated. SL and left as found.jg

When to Harvey Bay to do some caches with KabbellaQld and Danielle46 signed as KTD we followed the M2BRT to the end it was a great walking trail with this one please try not to put it in a poisonous plant next time as some people react to it.Tftc

Like previous loggers, we felt uncomfortable with the location of this one as it felt like it was in a garden bed. Possibly its a grey area as there is a electricity substation near it as well as the units' gardens and mailboxes so we assume it may be akin to a council owned road verge. Nevertheless, would recommend it be moved slightly as the cache is in an oleander which is known to cause skin irritation - our teammate had to avoid this one due to a very bad reaction to an oleander at a previous location.Spent an enjoyable day caching in Hervey Bay as a team and worked our way through this portion of the trail. We did it in reverse and enjoyed the countdown. The path is well designed and smooth enough to be very inclusive it was pleasurable walking past individuals and groups exercising on a myriad of devices including scooters, bicycles, foot, mobility devices and wheelchairs. Particularly enjoyed the last section of the trail where there are multiple murals and sculptures. Signed KTD (KabbellaQld, ToucanKB and Danielle46). Tftc
